Extremely efficient and friendly workers! Definitely much better prices than other repair shops

Loved it! Worked with a great bloke called Claudio. He got the job done quickly and for a solid price.

The technician was very pleasant and competent and gave us good advice. He saved me from an expensive repair to a computer that was too old to warrant the expense. We will certainly use this firm again.

Good work,professionally completed and without the BS you get from most computer repair shops.

Spa computers didn t confuse my lack of knowledge with stupidity, unlike other stores I could mention. They listened to my requirements and sorted out any setting up issues promptly and with good humour.

Took in a PC with a corrupted Raid 10 disc set. Very pleasant and helpful staff who communicated clearly and frequently. I hoped that they could read at least some of the data on the drives but, in fairly short order, they got the whole system back up and running again. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to everyone else!

Friendly service and managed to fix my laptop at a good price. I had to take it back again to get the issues fully resolved but happy with the final outcome. It would have been 5 stars if the communication had been completely consistent and reliable. I would use again and do recommend.

I agreed to this, and another week or so later my laptop 'developed' a further issue in their care that meant the laptop would not turn on, so it needed to be sent off to a more specialist company. Spa computers attempted to charge me for sending the laptop off, even though it was working fine except the space bar when i brought it in to them. Eventually they agreed to send the laptop off to the specialist off their own costs (rightly so).

My laptop was then LOST via hermes, losing me data and making me have to re-set up a laptop. Spa computers did still charge me as if theyd fixed my original laptop on the day i brought it in! I never actually saw my laptop fixed so for all i know they did not actually carry out any work. i finally recieved my replacement laptop 6 weeks after i first went in and had to call up 3 times (with no answer) to get the password from them that was on the replacement.

Spa computers was an absolute shambles and left me feeling disappointed, stressed and annoyed. They cost me revenue from my online business that i needed the laptop for.

I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND however they were fairly good, eventually, at fixing their own mistakes (that shouldnt be made anyway)

I look forward to the rude reply to this complaint, i'd focus on improving your business over thinking of witty replies to unhappy clients.

Friendly service, sorted out problems with my MacBook quickly.

Sadly the guys couldn t quite save my iPhone 6 (which had been underwater for 35 minutes) but managed to get it working long enough for me to get the important stuff off it!

Very friendly service, great communication while they were fixing my laptop, and the service price for replacing my broken laptop screen was very reasonable. They also have a water bowl for dogs outside which is nice to see!

Recently got my Laptop screen fixed, and my Samsung buttons replaced and I must say the costumer service is great, the prices very reasonable and negotiable, and the time taken to complete was very short. Recommended this place to my friends :)

I visited Spa Computers on the off chance they could help me with a broken lap top (hinges fell apart) although I was very doubtful about anyone's chances. Asus having been particularly unhelpful. There was no hard sell just an informed and quiet review of what I needed and what would best suit me. We agreed that a pc was best, went through the specification (again with no hard sell), agreed a completion date and all for a very satisfactory price. It was ready when promised, all worked perfectly and has continued to do so. All in all the best computer buying experience (of many) that I have ever had.

Couple weeks ago the power pack for my xbox system burned out I couldn't think of anywhere to go to except spa computers I arrived explained the problem and they knew exactly how to solve it. Within ten minutes everything was done they promised my part would arrive in two days and it was on time so can't complain there. Nice staff who know what they are doing which is great

Unprofessional shop and very poor customer care. I left my MacBook Pro for repair three weeks ago as it wasn't turning on with the promise it would have been ready within 5 working days. After several delays and calls to understand the status of the repair I was finally told yesterday the laptop was ready. Nobody could explain me what the problem was and what was done to the laptop but I paid the invoice and collected it as it seemed to be working fine. Last night it stopped working again and I have now to start the process all over again. I have been without laptop for 3 weeks and I don't know yet what the problem is and how it is going to be solved.

Was Good, Now Not

Were previously very helpful.

But more recently I bought a mouse the day before lockdown which proved to be faulty. I obviously could not return it during lockdown, though did not get round to doing so until more recently.

They refused to exchange it, saying they would only offer a 3 month warranty on such products (despite the Consumer Rights Act providing 6 months). A second staff member was consulted, who basically said (paraphrased): "It's a cheap mouse, what do you expect?"

They also mentioned that the 'person' who sold me the mouse probably no longer works here any more. I'm not sure what relevance that has other than to tell me to tell you that this place has gone rapidly downhill since Covid.

Update following respose from owner: a) it was not dirty; b) you did not prove it was working: I told you it was an intermittent fault, which I descibed, but you did not bother to test it properly; c) I had original packaging (which you saw); d) I had proof of purchase (which you did not ask about). Now tell me who needs to look in the mirror. Changed to 1 in view of unprofessional response.

I rather hastily wrote this company a good review several months ago for upgrading the processor in my computer.

It was only when I saw my temperatures that I knew something was wrong.

Spa Computers had applied the most ridiculous amount of thermal paste and also damaged my CPU cooler.

Not only that, but they refused to take responsibility because, in their words, as soon as you open your PC case, your warranty is void.

I asked them to fix and refit my cooler, only to hear 24 hours later that suddenly my motherboard or processor was broken. Again, Spa Computers refuses to take responsibility for this.

The next day, after I had complained, it was magically fixed and I picked the PC up. There was no issue with the system, other than the fact that the CPU cooler fan had been mounted on the wrong side!

One technician in particular was extremely rude and condescending. When explaining about the cooler, he d huff, puff and shake his head at me. Not the most professional approach, really.

This is a company to avoid.

I do find it funny how you ve replied here and ignored my response to you on Facebook, where I proved you wrong about the thermal paste issue.

Once again, the only one lying here is you. I didn t dismantle the whole machine , I removed the cooler and asked you to refit it because it was visibly broken thanks to your previous work.

You do appear to be clinging onto the warranty issue, which is not at all what this complaint is about. In fact, in the shop I even told you that I wasn t bothered about the warranty and just wanted the cooler refitted.

My review was made to highlight the extremely low quality of work carried out by your company, which is being backed up by your abusive response to my review.

Perhaps potential future customers will see this conversation and think twice about using your services.

Fantastic local computer shop. Great expertise, very helpful and friendly guys. Have been several times, first to get a laptop fixed, then bought a new one, and they transferred all my files over etc. Contacted them recently as my printer was playing up and they managed to solve it remotely. They are always happy to help even with the smallest issues.

I had my MacBook upgraded to an SSD at Spa Computers, great service and really knowledgeable guys. The MacBook was ready earlier than I expected which was great and it worked perfectly. I would recommend Spa Computers to anyone who asks, excellent service at very reasonable prices.

I've had fantastic service from Spa Computers. My 10 year old iMac was running so slow, sometimes it took nearly an hour to load. Spa put in a solid state hard drive and it now switches on immediately! It's like having a new computer, and the price was really good. I can't recommend this company highly enough and will definitely go there with any future problems. Thanks guys!

really happy with the service. Took my Fujitsu laptop to another computer shop who messed me around and tried to charge me a fortune. These guys sorted it out the same day and had it back to me. Really happy. Friendly helpful guys as well.

Just great service - Very friendly and clever staff - I wouldn t hesitate in recommending them - my PC problem was difficult to diagnose but they persisted and solved it. The final bill was very reasonable considering the time and effort they put in.

Spa Computers was extremely helpful at getting my computer up and running. Especially during the COVID time, I needed a new computer quickly for online classes and they were able to transfer all my files and set it up quickly. Any questions were answered promptly. I would definitely recommend.

Brilliant service from all 3 members of staff...Alex, Emil and Grayson. Could not have wished for a more hepful, efficient, friendly and good value service. Alex went out of his way to support me, in the upgrading of my old laptop from Windows 7 to 10. He helped with the re-installation of my printer, with all its connected issues!! I would thorougly recommend Spa Computers for all IT support, service and peripherals. 11 out of 10.

Diagnosed the problem with my slowly-responding laptop and fixed it with an HDD. I paid the extra for rapid service, and got it back by close of play the next day.

Needed to get laptops hard drive upgraded from HDD and SSD. Guys did a great job and laptop is running so much quicker now. All this was done on the same day and for reasonable price. Would highly recommend these guys.

After being given an extortionate quote from another local retailer to fix my laptop I went to spa computers who quickly identified that the problem was much smaller (and less expensive) to fix than I had been told. My computer crashed and these guys rescued the hard drive on the same day within an hour. Saved my life. And at a reasonable cost too.

I needed to replace my ancient laptop, the guys at Spa were very patient explaining all the options and I am very pleased with my purchase after listening to their advice. They also copied across all my files and emails, something that was very important to me. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if the need arose.
