Been going to this hospital since 1970. I been trying to avoid this review
because of loyalty. But after todays visit. My last five have been subpar care. But the real problem is how rude they are. Today i had to just get up and walk out. I with no one waiting at 7am on a sunday morning. asked the nurse how long she thought it would be till i saw a doctor. Her name
was amanda a d she had a meltdown. Telling me that i shouldnt even asked and if i didnt like it. Go the f. K somewhere esle. Unbelievable. Very unprofessional. This must be the new movement in Vermont. Abuse older white men who they believe are reasons for
there shortcomings. When actually here is a young female nurse raised to disrespect older white men and was given everything in her life and now as a adult she not only cant handle her job but also cant control her emotions in a professional setting. Sad.

A couple years ago - the ER double billed me for two visits for the same injury on the same day and fought me on it because a shift change on their side caused two different doctors to be involved

Preventive labs are usually billed to me annually and I have to call and explain that there is a difference in billing codes for preventive labs (which are covered in full per the ACA).

This year I got a COVID test but couldn t access the results because the patient portal went down while I was sitting on the Canadian boarder trying to download the result. I called and no one could help me.

I will do what I can to avoid this hospital

Such great care! I was visiting from out of state when my toddler came down with a virus. We choose this urgent care simply Because It was close, and I'm so glad we did. I was relieved to be able to see an MD during our visit; you could tell he had looked over our paperwork prior to entering and listened to all our symptoms before coming to a conclusion. Overall what a great experience during a stressful time!

Un Organized, many of the staff is absolutely rude, disrespectful, and don t pay attention nor listen well to anything that s going on. Very sad how this hospital is run and operated. One of the worst Iv been too. Replace your desk people they don t do there job right nor do they respect anyone or anything anyone says. Attitude and rudeness is not how you address patients.
Thanks.

Went there Sunday night with my son the staff was awesome Dr Burns and the nurses were awesome. Went back there tonight because my son's issues have gotten worse. We sat there in the room for 2 hours no labs were taken no IVs were run we just sat there for 2 hours in the room and finally I went out and said we'll just leave it and go to ExpressCare tomorrow. Then Dr Steven lefebvre comes in and saids to me what's the issue. With bedside manners like that would get any mother's blood pumping. My response was obviously look at him he can't breathe or swallow so obviously he needs to steroid or something to help him. He listens to his lungs gives him a shot of steroid and some ibuprofen and sends us on our way after seeing him for only 5 minutes

I have been to many places for care over the years, this particular ER .. is the absolute best. Every single person who dealt with me was so kind and beyond nice. They had me getting better within hours of figuring out the issue. They treated me with dignity, respect and most of all they listen to me and helped me. This type of care is what every hospital should model to be like. It isn't easy when your very sick and nurses are rude or harsh, if not nurses it's Dr or other staff that make it much worse, I am so incredibly grateful for the kindness, compassion and overall care with this hospital.

If u hv a real emergency I wld suggest staying away from Bennington s emergency room. They seem to hv more of a concern for Medicated patients then a real emergency. Took my son their for a displaced radius n ulna, sat in the waiting room for over 3hrs before they took him into a bed. Sad!
