Can a Southern Fidelity Manager PLEASE ASSIST ME?!?!
My home sustained water damages in July of last year and my contractor had to pack my entire house out. I m currently living in another home but my Additional Living Expenses ended at the end of Dec. So since Jan 1st I ve been paying my own expenses to live in a second house because my house is sitting vacant and gutted because Southern Fidelity has been sitting on my contractors supplemental estimate since the end of July. The desk adjuster, Keith S has confirmed in various conversations that he clearly knows more money is required to complete my repairs and has promised he will get an updated estimate out to us, since the beginning of Dec! Then after that promise he went dark for a few weeks. Now he responded again in Jan and said he is still working on their estimate and will have it soon. Well here we are in Feb and I still don t have anything, literally have nothing, no estimate, no explanation, no communication, and phone calls back, no email responses.
We recently reached out to our agents office and they said they are having difficulty getting explanations as well.
I am so lost and my contractor
Is literally sitting at a stand still until we get an updated estimate and payment.
I pray they are not doing this to other homeowners, if so all I can do is pray for those people and hope they re treated better than the way they are treating me.
My claim number ends in 26718 and my home is located in Arabi, LA.
We also have over 30 emails of being lead on or simply no reply s.
Please provide us with what we can do to move our repairs along?
