Good customer relations orientate with the vendor ...

Good customer relations orientate with the vendor showing empathy when problems arise. By not hurling the blame back at the client. Notwithstanding, no dive manufacturer to date has met quality assurances required by experienced divers. Be prudent of retailers who stock brands which may well fail to satisfy your expectations, like the Hollis Prism CCR.

As usual, the service was fast and friendly. It is a very convenient location and I like going there and have a bit of a wonder while I have my cylinder refilled. Specialist in Tec Diving. So, thank you!!

I called Southern Cross Divers on Monday morning t...

I called Southern Cross Divers on Monday morning to purchase a Nautilus Life Line (Marine VHF Radio and GPS Safety Device for Divers). Barry (the owner) said he was not in the office that day, but that they had the item in stock and assured me that I could pick it up any other day of the week between 9 am and 4 pm. We agreed I would pick it up on Wednesday.

I left work early on Wednesday to get there before they closed, I arrived to the dive shop at 3:50 pm on Wednesday and it was shut. I called the mobile number that appears on their website and he answered. His attitude was very rude and unprofessional. He said literally:

"You were going to pick it up today and I told you we closed at 4 love!!!"
I replied it was only 3:50 and I had left work early to pick it up, he then said
"You will have to return another day if you want it!" and HANG UP the phone before I could say anything else.

I called him back, this time he answered and I firmly assured him he was being horribly unprofessional, and asked him for an alternative, he limited his reply to silence....

Of course, I wont be buying this item (or any other) from him ever again. Most of all, this was a horrible experience, this shop is not worthy even looking at and I am just very glad this happened while shopping for something and not out on the water (or under).

I am an experienced diver (+3000 dives) and have dealt with many dive operators and shops, this one is BY FAR the WORST experience and I would advice anyone to stay away from both the shop and Barry.
