For those of us who need a guide dog, this place is the most amazing place in the world!

Southeastern Guide Dogs is the top guide dog school in the world. They have taught me that just because I have become blind does not mean life is over. When it comes to pairing a guide dog with a handler, it is more than a man or woman and a guide dog. They have hired the best team members to train the guide dogs. It is a match made I heaven!! In my experience with my companion, we are known as "The Smooth Crew."

I was blessed to be able to spend some time at SEGD getting to know my forever friend. She has been amazing, and I ve only had her home for a few days now. The staff at SEGD are an extremely professional group who take their jobs very seriously, and answer to a calling to serve that most would ignore. What they do at NO cost is amazing, and is something I ll never be able to repay. I am extremely grateful for the help they have given me, other veterans, and those who are blind. I could never say thank you enough to ALL of the staff at Southeastern Guide Dogs!

If you are a veteran suffering from PTSD, I cannot recommend them enough! (You do not have to be Florida based, they will travel to you for interviews before and after receiving your dog.)

We attended "Freshman Orientation" in January 2021. Even with the Covid pandemic, Southeastern made the drop off event so special, unique and personal. We were greeted with local puppy raisers and their puppies outside their facility with balloons and signs, cheering us onto campus for an emotional drop off. Once there, it was well organized with pictures, gifts and finally the good-bye. Kuddos to Southeastern for allowing puppy raisers the opportunity to hand the leash over in such an honoring way.

I had an amazing time at Southeastern Guide Dog School and learned a great deal working with the tremendous trainers and My Guide Dog. It has altered My life in a very positive way. I now have regained hope and confidence back in My life. I am very grateful for all They've given to Me. I thank Them from the bottom of My heart!!!!

I am so thankful to have been able to finally be matched with my guide dog! Being delayed with COVID and having to work around a public school academic calendar provided its challenges, but it was worth the wait! The training had a learning curve but we all sank right into it after the first week. So lucky to have found a great guide dog school so close to home too!

I highly recommend them they are so compassionate help you in every step of the way and will make calls to make things happen I cannot stress enough how great this company is. I will always be in there debt how they help veterans and non veterans and also they do so much for people that can not see there service animals are incredible

I strongly encourage to donate to SE Guide Dogs. The dogs give a gift of life for the disabled. In college I was able to tour a facility for Leader Dogs for the blind (Rochester Hills, Michigan). I was doing a class presentation. A+... I had the entire class and teacher's attention. The service these dogs provide are limitless. I am amazed with training and discipline these dogs carry.

Great place. It was the 2nd time I have been there and I am sure each time I go in will be more impressed. Wonderful things happen there and well continue with continued support
