Southeast missouri hospital Review

Discourages the use of vitamin d, c, zinc and quercetin. I would never go to a hospital that wasn t for basic immune system boosting. This dangerous suggestion could hurt people.

I am actually an outsider, looking in as I do not live in the area nor have I utilize any Southeast facilities. I have also read the reviews which it occurs to me that the facilities provide (in most cases) extremely good, compassionate care for their patients. Where it appears the issues lie is in the communication and billing. As a benefits professional whom assists clients with claims issues I have seen several patients that were in the hospital for varying lengths (2 days, 4 days, 5 days and anywhere in between) that thought they were admitted to the hospital but in reality were held in observation. To the laymen, there is no difference except when they are trying to file a claim for what they thought was admittance, only to have the claim denied due to observation. It makes my end much more difficult, and causes frustration with the patient when a simple communication while there would have curbed this confusion. Simple suggestion would be to let the patient know exactly which category they are in so they are not surprised, confused, and upset later.

Those staffing the vaccination site are friendly and helpful. The shots were expertly given. Painless ! Thank you !

Great! Surgery went good. Had the best surgeon in the world. The nurses took excellent care of me.

I recently spent almost one week on the Neuro Floor after having back surgery. Overall the staff did a good job. Two Nurses stood out I would like recognize for excellence. They are Missy and Courtney. Always cheerful, courteous, knowledgeable and willing to help any way possible it was obvious they enjoyed their career. Adequate staffing is a problem that soon became obvious and needs attention. Long wait times, late meal deliveries and room care are just a few examples resulting from the issue. For example I checked in on a Wednesday and went home the following Monday. My bed was never once made and my wife had to change my bed sheets Saturday. I understand everyone is having a hard time finding good employees who want to work. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would recommend the hospital to friends and family.

I highly recommend the Drs at Southeast health. I've been a patient there for several months and every employee has shown complete professionalism and compassion.
Everytime I have had to call for an unscheduled appointment they have been able to see me within a week.

My brother-in-law has had three back surgeries in the last few years. Of all the physical therapists he's had, I met the best one today at Southeast hospital in Cape. Her name is Lynne. Great personality and she obviously cares about her patients. Thank you so much Lynne for being awesome

Everything today, as well as everything with our first shot experience, was handled extremely well. We were taken at the time given, paperwork was handled nicely, the shot was given in a timely manner, and there was plenty of space to wait our 15 minutes. We were in and out very quickly. The volunteers and staff were very helpful and friendly. One of the nicest things was the fact that we were kept fully informed by email. We were notified after we signed up to verify our date and time, we were sent a reminder before the shot date and the day of the shot, we were notified of the cancellation due to the bad weather and the reschedule date, place, and time. It was a seamless operation.

What can I say, this is our second shot and as far as I know, we're GOOD TO GO! Our scheduling for BOTH shots were VERY WELL ORGANIZED and SCHEDULED. We walked in the door, registered, got our shots and waited our required 15 mins. to be sure we were OK , then left.
The STAFF were very FRIENDLY and WELCOMING, we were treated RESPECTFULLY and PROFESSIONALLY, THIS WAS A VERY WELL ORGANIZED PROCEDURE. This is the 3rd time we have had dealings with SOUTHEAST HOSP. and we have ALWAYS been treated as valuable customers & patients.
