Amazing church that is doing the Lord's work and changing lives through the word of God. If you can, attend. If not watch their sermons on line, you won't regret it. May God continue to bless them and their work.

The most amazing services I've ever attended. I could feel the presence of God as I walked in the door. The people were very friendly and we felt very welcome. We have found the most perfect church home. God is great!

It was my church home for 10 years. I hated leaving it. Became too liberal. I am NOT liberal and never will be. Very liberal church now. Not in tune with the Bible. You can't change gne Bible to suit a sinful lifestyle.

I want in on this business, they are making millions. Good job I wished they sold shares The slow manipulation is very affective. The pastors are making bank ! Just like Jesus would !! The little monies vs income they donate is completely a ruse to acquire more buyers God and blessings for sale is really a win win for this business!!!

Great Church.... just wish all churches would speak up a little more about the some things that effect all our children. Recently I investigated a Facebook post.... Target stores will now offer Transgender restrooms and dressing rooms. I believe the Lord would want our religious organizations and churches to speak out opposing these views... Currently the Atheist are attempting legislation to remove the Holly Bible from public libraries and hotel rooms .... We need to speak up to our congregations, this is not what our God believes ...

I am disabled, I am severely disabled, wheelchair, service dog, the whole nine yards. This church just doesn't make it easy to be a member as a disabled person. Handicapped seating is always full but by people who are not handicapped. Families with new babies.......here is a clue a baby is NOT a handicapp, it's a blessing from God. Because the benches are long and comfortable people rush to sit there. I never judge people based on handicap, as not all handicaps are visible. How about a teenager laying down playing video games with headsets on? No one is the disabilities ministry is handicapped??????? How do they expect to know the needs handicapped people have? They should have the ushers asking every group that sits there in those seats, " is there at least one handicapped person here in the group as these are for handicapped members and visitors". Other than that the Church is My Church and I Love It!

One of my favorite churches in the city. Reminds me of the service they used to do on the military bases. Since I'm an Air Force Brat.. reminds me of my roots. I wish they also had a Gospel choir too though.

Southeast Christian Church seems to have changed direction in the past couple of years. I suppose if you like concert-type of atmosphere (loud music, lots of bright lights shock & awe) then, this is the place for you. Truth is still preached however, it is not practiced. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

Great people and community. The classes offered are great. The people teaching the class are kind and care. There seems to be something for everyone here. The cafe is nice as are the staff. The seats are comfortable and the teachings are great.

The best thing about a mega church is the opportunity to meet individuals with similar needs to your own. I have a child with Down Syndrome - Southeast has a large disabilities community. I am able to attend a bible study there consisting of all parents who have children with special needs. This church and the many members that have become my friends have helped me become a better advocate for my child. I know my child is safe when in the care of the trained staff in the Children's ministry. Life for parents of a special needs child can feel like a slippery slope - but Southeast Christian Church has been a great support and blessing to our family. Mark & Kim Quintela

Everyone we have met here will admit that they are not perfect, despite that they are friendly and love to serve in any way they can. The building may seem large but there are many opportunities to get connected to smaller groups. If you are not afraid to be imperfect and want to know God without all the man made rules you will find in most churches, then this is the place for you and your family.

There are a lot of good people who attend SE. My experience is mixed. I love the music and the sermons seem Biblically solid until it comes to money. I guess they're ok if you have an outgoing personality and want to plugin. I'm very shy so that doesn't work for me. You can come and go without ever being noticed and feel very lonely among the masses.

As for doctrine, I listen to SE ministers a lot on radio and what they teach is in line with what I have studied. But when I attended and Pastor Kyle taught on tithing some of it was just not in line with the Bible. He got it right that we're not under curses like Mal 3 says. He also said that tithing was Old Testament and that's sort of true but there is one mention of it in Matt 23:23. Jesus is addressing the Pharisees who were under Mosaic Law. Hebrews also makes a reference to Abraham's tithe from war spoils.

What I'd didn't like was Pastor Kyle didn't explain that the curses and blessings in Mal 3 were for the Israelites and their priests per Mal 1:1 and Mal 2:1. They have nothing to do with Christians because we don't live under the law, we live by faith. I also didn't care for Pastor Kyle's references to first fruits like they apply to Christians. 1st fruits were not tithes and tithed were never money, these were always food. I don't know why he couldn't just use 2Cor 9:7 and tell people that we don't have to give of necessity and we are to give as purposed in our hearts. And then explain 2Cor 9:6 that we reap as we sow. I always feel like the churches are running a scam to get into my pocketbook and that's not right when the pastors are making huge salaries.

Southeast can easily have a bad reputation just because it is a megachurch, but when you truly allow the connection process to help you find your place in this body of Christians, the personal and friendly experience is quickly known. I love the fact that if I want to belong to a group or serve in an area of ministry, the pathway to do that is clear, easy and effective. Super grateful to the intentionality of the ministers on staff at Southeast!!

I usually attend Crestwood campus. I visited Lagrange on mother's day. I've attended the Indiana campus twice. Blankenbaker is hard for me to deal with due to my disabilities. I love it but just the distances are difficult. I love the smaller campuses. I tell my wife that you have to be friendly to make friends whenever she states that people weren't friendly to her on any given day. Small group bible studies are great. I love larger churches because you can find more studies and more diversity (age, race, disabilities, or however you care to define) which helps you understand others perspectives.
I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I love my Church!

I enjoyed my visit to Southeast. Kyle is a very good minister and did a great job with his message. Only complaints is that it's REALLY big. I'm used to big churches, but this place is massive. The staff and volunteers were really welcoming! Very nice church if you can look past the size.

We began attending when we moved to the area in 2005 and became members that fall. Southeast is an amazing body of believers. Dave Stone and Kyle Idleman are wonderful pastors and teachers who preach the Word with no equivocation. We are so thankful for the friendships we ve formed with our brothers and sisters in Christ. It means so much to have the support of believers as we journey life together.

Attended SE for 2+ years - tithed, played in athletics, and was beginning the membership process. Applied to be a part of Family Dedication with our baby boy and were denied. Their representative was judegemtal and cold. Archaic thinking. We were merely names on an application. This is where the size of the church becomes a problem. They didn t know who we were, nor did they want to gain a deeper understanding of where we are in our journey with Christ.

I can't thank them enough. I am not an official member, but do frequently visit. My brother died suddenly a few days ago, and I have frantically been making burial arrangements, after the crematory, the cemetery, and the courier journal, beings my brother was non denominational, I realized I needed/ wanted someone to come say a prayer for him. I called Southeast Christian Church, and within 10 minutes, they had a minister calling me back, who agreed to come pray for my brother and lay him to rest, and get this, they did not have a price. The only part of burying a loved one that didn't have a set price tag. They just said" Your brother died" ? I said Yes. They said you want someone to come say a prayer? I said yes. They said" we are coming". Thank God. This really means a lot. I will never forget the kindness and compassion they
have shown.
