This place is a joke. They switched my doctor, switched my appointment time, but made sure to swipe my card the second I came in the door. Rest assured that this review will not be my only course of action. Furthermore, I shall never return to this establishment for the rest of my days.
My family have been patients at SouthCoat for over 16 years. We are very pleased with our doctor and his staff. In my opinion each employee is courteous, helpful and kind. Love all of them!
The doctor's do not respond to pharmacy requests for refills. I had to call the times to for up after ER visit and got nothing but attitude from nurse. Never got an appointment. Don't get test results unless I call for them. I am looking for new PCP after two ER visits in two weeks because I couldn't see doctor.
Terrible customer service , nurses do not care if you have your prescription filled or not,and no I am not taking pain meds , all they want is you to come in so they can bill your insurance. And when you get there BE PREPARED TO WAIT for at least an hour AFTER your appointment time.
I will be finding another GP asap
Was happy to get an appointment this morning with Dr Skalla. At 10:00am I checked in at the front desk for my 10:15 appointment. At 11:00 I was approached by staff and asked if I checked in. Yes was my answer. ( I was overlooked) at 11.10 I was called back and was told to walk to x-ray. There were 7 people in front of me and after 10 min the line was no shorter. Like everybody else even though you do not bring it up my time is just as valuable as the Doctors that work there. After waiting one hour I got up and walked to my car and left. We do not need health care providers that just do not care. Finding another Dr that gives a s**t
Today I was directed to pull around to be tested for covid before my appointment. After I was finally tested for covid and paid ahead of time, which was a mistake, I was told my appointment would have to be virtual because they aren't taking sick patients in office. At almost 5 pm. Well after their office closed. I was not notified about this ahead of time. Nobody answered the virtual visit after multiple attempts and much more waiting. I am now out of 50 dollars and wasn't even seen. By anyone. This is not the first questionable experince I've had at this office and honestly I reccomend you take your business elsewhere.
I waited for 3 hours in the parking lot. Right in front of the door. 3 HOURS. Was never seen. And cannot even get in contact with anyone for more information on the matter.
I wish I could leave zero stars.
I have been going to southcoast for over 7 years in that time I have had 2 primary care physicians the first one I lost without being notified he was gone. Now my second primary care physician spends the majority of his time in Atlanta not in his practice, that I have dealt with but being unable to get prescriptions refilled. Every year I have struggled trying to get my prescriptions refilled sometimes at detriment to my health. Now my meds have been changed I don't know if it's something he changed or a mix up. I am now waiting for a refill called in 3 days ago I think it is time for a new primary. I did 1 star but if I could I would do zero
The absolute worst healthcare provider. Run far far away.
The doctor and nurses are awesome. The Oncology billing is Horrible. I just spoke with initial RM today & this person just kept talking whenever I was talking...just wouldn't let me finish. She was just plain difficult...very Rude.
I hope somebody is recording our conversation...Anybody from QA?

It's kind of hit and miss with Southcoast. I see a wonderful Doctor at their Chatham Parkway location. Been going for years. She is very attentive, concerned and stays on point with my medical care. On the other hand, my Husband sees a Doctor at the Eisenhower location. His Doctor isn't concerned in the least about my Husband's health. Irritates me!!!
