Just graduated from the Leading Edge program - a true value, and such a great way to get my business started! Sure, you can look up how to write a business plan for free - I did that. And I was still stuck. Coming to class every week, learning from the instructors, and brainstorming with 30 real Denver people on the same adventure got me unstuck. The Denver Metro Small Business Development Center, the consultants & staff have been priceless during this last year. Having a resource to ask questions like Can you help me put together a updated business plan?Can I get some guidance on how to set up Quickbooks the right way? How do I get funding? The questions go on and on and they are always there for me when I reach out.
I have been to SBDC several times for advice and for classes. I come away from there every single time feeling like it was time very well spent. I feel like they are very good at "connecting dots" for business owners who need help, coaching, advice, or direction. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in business. They are trustworthy and very much worth meeting with.
