First time going to the gym in a long time. Did not have to compete with anyone for equipment, although the workout area is a little small. At some point, I had the place all to myself with my son and one other person. Turns out the other person was cleaning up and he let us know the center had closed at 8pm. Wish they opened until later but I might have been sore if they did. Ha ha

This is a pretty simple and friendly place to get your exercise in. I don't like gyms like VASA or Planet Fitness because it's full of an intimidating crowd that can make it difficult to just focus on your own workout. That's just my personal opinion.
I'm a young guy and this place caters to a mostly older crowd which is much more comfortable for me. They're friendly and if you're lucky enough to make some friends, you'll hear some great stories. The staff have been extremely friendly so far and I've ended up taking a leap and getting a month to month pass. It's cheap and and affordable.
Great place to go work out. Monthly pass a bit pricey but normally it's not very busy and there's a lot of options for both weights and cardio. Cleaning rags are always well-stocked and available. The pool is not very big though.
Haven't been able to go in since March with Covid. 8pm.is too early to close. Impossible to work out in a mask too. Fingers crossed there is a way to get something refunded when I haven't used the membership in 3/4 of a year
My kids like the pool, but it s pretty cold. They start shivering within about 10 minutes. Plus, for some reason the exterior doors in the pool area are always open, which is next to the splash equipment that the kids play on. I will stop bringing them in the winter and maybe try again in the summer, when the cold air and water combination maybe won t be so miserable.
Great place when my girls played soccer, but an incident back in September made me question their staff and rules. My girls are in elementary and we needed to film a dance routine for the schools reflections contest ( approx 3min long). I stopped by asking if we could use a corner of one of the gyms or open spaces. They said no, not without reserving one of the gyms or studios in advance. There was no one there. I then said, it s a school assignment and we only need to record approx 3min of a dance routine. They wouldn t let us. I paid for an hour to reserve a gym that was vacant for a 5-10 min school assignment. There were 3 staff members and not one of them saw the value of allowing a local resident utilitize the facility for a school assignment and not even interfering with any others scheduled or anything else going on. Clearly it was a power move or a rule that needs a decision maker to adjust for good cause. As a south Jordan resident of 8-9 years, I was disappointed.
Also we need a lap pool for the city. Swim teams and lap swimmers have to go elsewhere outside of South Jordan to accommodate.
