Welcome to South Church of the Nazarene, affectionately known as Southnaz! We are a community of believers who strive to be shaped like Christ in every aspect of our lives. Our vision is inspired by God's Spirit and we aim to live it out in our homes, church, and community.

At Southnaz, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth as a human being to save us from sin. We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone and that it is available to all who repent and turn away from their sins.

Our mission at Southnaz is to make disciples for Jesus Christ by sharing His love with others. We do this through worship services, Bible studies, prayer meetings, outreach programs, and other activities that help us grow closer to God and each other.

We are committed to providing a welcoming environment where people can come as they are without fear of judgment or condemnation. Whether you're new to Christianity or have been following Jesus for years, you'll find a place at Southnaz where you can belong.

Our church offers a variety of ministries for people of all ages including children's ministry, youth ministry, women's ministry, men's ministry, senior adult ministry and more. These ministries provide opportunities for fellowship with others who share your interests while also helping you grow spiritually.

In addition to our regular worship services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings we also offer special events throughout the year such as Vacation Bible School (VBS), Christmas programs , Easter celebrations , summer camps , retreats etc .

At Southnaz we value community involvement . We believe that serving others is an important part of being shaped like Christ . That’s why we partner with local organizations such as food banks , homeless shelters , schools etc .to serve those in need .
