They won t give you any information about when the power may come on. The second a storm hits, the power goes out. It will stay out for hours. Funny thing is, our neighbors will have power, but we won t. How does that work?

Lost power before the storms tonight due to some vehicle and power was back on within a couple of hours.Yoi guys are the best thankful we have south central and they got it repaired before the storm hit.We love having south central as our power company.
Horrible service, the staff leaves you on hold and never calls you back. I have been waiting a week for a Net meter for my solar and nothing. They are going to try to gouge me as long as possible. Would give them negative stars if possible.

Power outages often and occasionally with no apparent reason no wind or rain. When it goes out once, it typically will go out again later the same day. Takes a few hours to fix What is even going on that power outages are so common??
Need to add "No" before power in their name. We are constantly having power outages for no reason. Perfectly sunny day then all of a sudden power goes off. Then comes back and does this the following week. We are told it's resolved and then still does it. Currently sitting here again on a nice sunny day with no power.
Have been with South Central for years. Yes, they are a co-op so power costs a little more. The service has always been reliable. Have some outages when it storms....as would or should be expected. They always work hard to get you restored. Most of the complaints I see on here center around being shut off. Easy fix.....pay your bill. If the company sets you up on a plan....follow the plan.
