The vineyard was established in 2001 by John and Barbara Drady with a vision to produce premium wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Sonoma Coast.
The winery's location on the coast provides an ideal climate for growing grapes. The cool ocean breezes and foggy mornings create a long growing season that allows grapes to ripen slowly and develop complex flavors. The vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, which are known for their ability to express terroir.
At Sonoma Coast Vineyards & Winery, LLC, we believe that great wine starts in the vineyard. Our team works tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that our vines are healthy and producing high-quality fruit. We use sustainable farming practices such as cover cropping, composting, and natural pest control methods to maintain soil health.
Our winemaking philosophy is simple: let nature do its work. We use minimal intervention techniques during fermentation and aging to allow our wines to express their unique character. Our wines are aged in French oak barrels for up to 18 months before bottling.
We offer a range of wines at Sonoma Coast Vineyards & Winery, LLC including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend (Bordeaux-style white), Syrah/Grenache blend (Rhône-style red), Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend (Bordeaux-style red), Late Harvest Riesling dessert wine made from botrytis-affected grapes.
Our tasting room is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm, and we offer tours of the vineyard and winery by appointment. We also host private events such as weddings, corporate retreats, and wine club member parties.
