Last week my wife and I went there for pizza. We go about once a month because it's pretty good. However, this time we both experienced abdominal cramps after eating there, and in the take home left overs my wife found this plastic piece while chewing (see photo). Won't be going there anymore.
Service was very slow and the salad wasn't very good but the pot pie is amazing, worth the wait.
Had something new... chicken Tetrazzini.

Someplace Else is "something else" I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Elkhorn. Amy was our waitress and made our visit complete with her smile, kindness and bubbly personality. She suggested the special and it was Cod Corn Chowder in a homemade bread bowl. It was absolutely delicious! My husband had the Cream of Broccoli soup in a bread bowl . While visiting Wisconsin one must try the Cheese curds. They were just as delicious as Amy said they would be! Someplace was was a cozy, warm atmosphere with delicious food and very friendly staff. If I ever find myself I'm Elkhorn, Wisconsin again I will definitely return to Someplace Else!
Food was good. Service was decent. A couple that came in after us got seated before us and took the only booth available, which sucked because we wanted a booth. Aside from that it was good.
A little pricey @ $14.00 for a prime rib sandwich but very good

Great place to unwind after work. I stopped in a few times this week during my time in Delavan for business . The food was great (pot pie, bone in rib-eye, and jumbo wings) but what really set this place apart were my servers. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. So special thank you Shayna, Krystal and Kali.
Very dark lighting, somewhat expensive and the food needed to be seasoned.
All in all I don't think I'll be back.
My wife and I have had fish fry at various restaurants in the Delavan area and decided to try something different (no pun intended) by checking out a restaurant in Elkhorn, The baked cod fish fry with the crumbled garlic topping is absolutely the best we have had so far since we moved to the Delavan area. The german potato pancakes are without a doubt the best we have EVER had. Not sure why the reviews have been so negative on the service in the bar and restaurant area but we have eaten at Someplace Else 5 times now and have always had very attentive, polite and timely service.
This is a classic Wisconsin bar and grill! Wonderful comfort food, good beer selection and great people keep me coming back time and time again.
Someplace Else has a nice atmosphere. The servers are friendly and attentive. I recommend the Reuben Rolls and Freakin Fries. Pick one (or both) and share among 4 friends. Bomb Burger is yummy, but it's blue cheese dressing-not bits of blue cheese. Black Jack Burger is yummy-messy Tex-Mex goodness. Fire House Burger is delicious with a nice chipotle heat.
Great food and cocktails. The atmosphere is alittle loud, hard to hear your party even next to each other.
Good comfort food. Lively atmosphere. Being vaccinated felt good.
The specialty Chicken Pot Pie was delicious.
Cute space. Waiter and help-wanted signs both suggested it's understaffed, but service was prompt and good arrived after only a short wait, even on a busy Saturday night. So no complaint. The food was perhaps not top-shelf, but it was good enough and a good value. The chicken pot pie was a hit with those that ordered it. The potato pancake that came with the fish fry didn't live up to expectations.

We waiting 10 minutes by the door waiting for someone to come and take our names. Once we finally got a table to sit down at, the service was extremely slow and the waitress was extremely rude. The food was not that great, the fish was not good and the burger was nothing to brag about. The waitress threw out our food even thought we asked for a box to go.
Great food, great location, and very fast service. Love this place!
If I could I would give it a half a star. Only thing nice about the place was it was clean. The waitress never checked on us after we got our food. The bus boy who brought our food out spilt food on my mom. Never even gave us napkins or anything so my mom could clean up some. Fish was dry and no flavor.

Just passing thru on the way to Green Bay and found this highly rated place. Located off a town park, in an old building nicely done, the menu was fairly extensive. Chose to get the pizza and was very happy with the choice and the service. Definitely worth getting off I-43 to go to find someplace local.

The food is really quite good with a nice variety. The desserts are to die for! The town is quaint and this restaurant is a fun stop with nice beer selections, good service and yummy appetizers. Don't miss it.
Classic Wisconsin bar with pot pies and Brandy old fashions. Fun vibe and very small town feel. Waitress was great and did a wonderful job dealing with our big and loud party!
Service was a little slow. French fries were delicious and so was the sandwich I got, but I must admit the serving was a bit on the petit side IMO.
I had the Friday Fish Fry. Cod was wonderful. My wife had the cheeseburger and it was HUGE! Great food and reasonably priced.

We live in Kenosha. And we were out driving taking in the sites. We happen upon this most AWESOME eatery. Best food EVER! Awesome staff! Mark was our waiter! So professional and fun! We DEFINITELY will 'happen" to come here again!

I got there at 5pm on a Saturday in August just when they were starting their Prime Rib Special - which my hubby thoroughly enjoyed. My Mother-in-law & I had the Cod Dinner & split a cheesecake - which all was very good, even the service!!!
Get the lemonade shakeup so dang good perfect summer drink staff is very friendly!

Staff was freindly & on top of their game. I had chicken nuggets, with buffalo sauce. They had other sauces. Good choices for tap beer. Staghorn! Other adult beverages too.
Parking might be an issue during busy evenings. I would go again!

My family(6yo, 4yo, a 6month old, my wife and myself) went to Someplace Else for dinner on Friday, August 30th. While we had to wait about 10 min for a table, that was expected. Once we were seated, the service was quick. Our food was very good. Ihad the beer battered cod, which was very tasty although oily. My wife had the firecracker shrimp which she left me try and they were awesome!
Can't remember the waitress's name that served my boyfriend and I, but she was very friendly. Service was quick, and food was delicious! I ordered the chicken panini and my boyfriend got the freakin fries which were amazing!!!

Lunch is always good, but if you happen to be here for the New Yorker special and pair it with a pint of Wisconsin Amber.... Makes me weak just thinking about it. Wow.

It's always hard to try somewhere new, SO GLAD WE DID! My family of 7 was welcomed with such a kind staff and everything that came to our table was EXCELLENT! We all came with appetites, left full and brought home leftovers. We will definitely be back!
We had just gotten back from a basketball game and decided to stop to grab a bite to eat. They opened at 11 so we were among the first customers and were seated right away. Service and Ambience were really comfortable. The French onion soup was delicious the cod fish sandwich was also delicious along with their boneless buffalo chicken wings. Overall I had a nice experience I'll be sure and come back. Thank you all for your service greatly appreciated! I'm happy to see you're all still working!

Not well prepared for a weekday lunch rush. Buffalo Chicken sandwich was oddly textured. Others in my party liked there food, which were mainly burgers. Not great, not terrible. Staff was very friendly.
The burger was perfectly cooked, and the fries were delicious. Will definitely stop again next time we're in town.
