Solar Associates Review

Great service. Friendly fast and efficient. Arrangements for purchase and installation were completed quickly and the system was installed and operational within 2 days of having a Hydro technician available to do the meter installation. Installation crew was quick and cleaned up after themselves leaving nothing but my new solar system. Explanation of the in-home components and online monitoring system were complete and any follow-up questions I've had have been answered quickly. I highly recommend Solar Associates for anyone contemplating their own solar energy system.

I contacted Steve of Solar Associates to inquire on the possibility of installing a solar system. After reviewing my information and my present hydro cost and usage Steve advised me not invest in the system at this time since my consumption is too low to justify the payback .Without any kind of government incentives or encouragement at this time, the numbers didn't add up.
Thanks Steve for showing honesty and integrity by not selling me something that wasn't going to be of benefit.

Solar Associates are the best! Steve and his team first worked to clear all the paperwork, permits and feasibility hurdles. Without his expertise on this alone the project would have stalled permanently. Moving forward he kept communication going with me and set out clear timelines. I always knew what was next. Approaching installation we were surprised to learn that my roof was not structurally sound. I thought the project was doomed but he worked hard with me and the engineering team to find a way to upgrade my roof and we still managed to make it happen. Now lucky for me, my roof will never give way and my Solar Panels have been running strong since. I am sure this quality system will run strong and outlive the expectations set forth because going the extra mile on installation is everything! If you want Solar production of any kind I fully recommend Steve Deforge and his team.

Solar Associates has been more than helpful in helping me with maintenance over the last few years they even replaced shingles that blew off my roof on their first visit at no cost. When we decided to move off-grid, our biggest unknown was the solar system. After contacting a few companies and receiving some pretty outlandish quotes, we tried Solar Associates. We spoke with Steve and was met with a knowledgeable and informative person who went out of his way to work with us. We can't list all of the things he went above and beyond on. We had a few complications with our builder and Steve stepped up, way beyond anything we ever expected, and made sure we were set up properly (outside his scope of work). It was such a great experience, we had to leave a review thanking and bragging about this company. Take it for us, don't waste your time, effort or patience with anyone else! Great company!! We bought our solar system off another company here in the Sudbury area that left us high & dry. We received no warranty info on any products that were installed & they will not even return our calls now. One of the worst experiences in our lives. Thanks god we found Solar Associates they have helped us out so much over the last year getting our system working like it should be. Anyone looking to go solar I would highly recommend Solar Associates be your first choice. Don't make the same mistake we did.
