SOL FOOD Puerto Rican Cuisine Review

awesome sandwiches. anytime i past by this town and feel a tasty sandwich, ill stop in.

This rest was supposed to be Puertorriquen food and many had recommended it. But being a native Puertorriquen, it was really disappointing. Rice was not cooked correct, steak and pork chops were bland. As for the beans it had some flavor, but missing cultural flavors. Definitely needs to re-evaluate there menu and really go back and study the actual flavors of PR.

A local brought me to sol food and as a foreign traveler I found the place interesting and different to what I'm used too. The food was good and the vibe was cool. They system was a bit confusing nevertheless I could see that the regulars knew the system, which looked efficient. The is a parking just down the street.

We usually would rate this place 5 stars...unfortunately this time when we ordered take out they forgot our salads...not a huge deal but I live almost an hour away and the salad is one of my favorite parts. We didn't realize the mistake til we got home so there was no turning back!

Def a place I prioritize going to whenever I am in the area. I suggest calling in to place your order if it is during lunch or dinner since the wait can be long (understandably so and totally worth it).

I eat here a lot since I work nearby. I love how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place neat regularly. Prices are convenient and they serve large portions.

Of course I love Sol Food! It's a freaking staple at our house. I don't know what they cook their rice and beans and mats with but everything's addicting. And you can't forget about the refreshing Fresco's like the limonada! Then go home and add a little gin and boom baby!

I was so excited to finally, after several years of hearing good things about this place that I couldn't wait to finally have the opportunity to try it out. While the staff and service was superb, I was sorely disappointed in the food. I cannot believe that I paid SO much for bland, tasteless, cold food that both issues left me with a very sour stomach and I would encourage others not to believe the hype.

Amazing as always. Whenever I get the chance to go there I will. The only downfall is that there food is too good so they are always busy :) so when I need something quick I cannot go there. But I always try to make sure that I make time to get a poor boy or a bistek sandwich. Pre ordering makes it faster to get what you want.

We ordered for take out. It was a busy afternoon but they seemed well organized handling the customer traffic & orders. Friendly staff, they were very helpful. The food was delicious! We hope to be back soon.
