The staff were lovely and helpful, the food was great. The hotel is nice. The room was fine, the only downside was I would say the bed is a small double .Its nice and quiet and you can take lovely walks.
The level of service is high. The quality of food is fantastic. We could not be treated any better, nothing is a problem for staff. All polite and pleasant.
From booking in to leaving was fantastic. Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable, clean room, great dinner and breakfast. Can't fault it.
Really lovely hotel. We came up to Stirling to visit our friend and decided to stay. The price for the room was excellent and we had a wonderful time. The staff are tentative and friendly. The room was clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend!
Well positioned and fairly well organised for hosting conferences and events.
Very pleasant stay, staff very friendly. If up here again will definitely stay here again.
Rooms nice, with kettle tea and coffee milk, hair dryer, towels trouser press. No shampoo but shower gel that was to hard to pump out I stayed overnight.went to reception desk no one was there so used phone folllowed instructions and dialed 0 to call no one picked up so left a voicemail message gave my room number and asked for.a bulb as my bulb was fused and the light was pretty dim. So only can do your makeup in the bathroom. They have a full size mirror on the door but no light there.
Also there was a lamp post leaning over my car so was asked so many times to move it when I already did. When I went to eat was asked when I went to reception I was asked. Seems a communication issue with people.
Seriously good lighting please and answer the phone or return the call no one did so I went without the light bulb.
Disappointed either too much or nothing at all when it comes to communication.
Christmas party night . Food and service was spot on nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very clean , but we stay here for the night and sorry to say room is very dated and tired looking. We didn t have a good night sleep as the mattress is so old that we could feel the springs on the bed , my partner ended up sleeping in the arm chair as it was a bit more comfortable . So glad I brought my own pillow as the one here are covered in yellow sweat stains. Walls are too thin and you can hear what other are doing and the room doors slam close making a night sleep impossible. Breakfast was ok . The hotel needs to spent some money on improving the rooms and buy a new toaster as it doesn t toasted and has sharp edges.
