It's always busy in here so was surprised to find that the food hygiene rating was only a 2. Had a tea and piece of cake as we'd travelled here especially. It was okay. We'd nearly finished our cake in the time it took them to bring us our hot drinks. Won't be rushing back, especially with poor hygiene rating!

Omg, just had the most amazing valentines evening in snails. We had the small plate menu and it was beautiful. Pudding was as equally divine (chocolate orange cheesecake and an almond tart). Staff were considerate, engaging, informing and overall just lovely. We had a great gastro experience. Thanks all xxxx

Nice place, good food but a bit limited. It is a delicatessen but you can hire the place out for parties. There is plenty of seating, enough for upto 40-50 people. Cafe style, but they do sell alcohol.

Sorry, but we popped in for a coffee today, that was fine, but once again the table had not been cleaned. Bits of chopped onion etc. So not naming and shaming, but if the tables are not cleaned, again, this is a basic hygiene issue and should be in staff DNA. It's not my job to speak to staff. I came in for a coffee.

Wouldnt go anywhere else for all my deli needs! Gorgeous fresh coffee, beautifully baked cakes, quiches and pastries and a gorgeous selection of gin, cheese and other welsh deliciousness all serviced with a smile! Highly recommended

My very favourite place for late breakfast, coffee, lunch or tea in the whole of Cardiff. Always friendly and the food is frankly and reliably delicious - their quiches can't be bettered, there's a huge choice, and their cakes . . . Plus you can pick up bread, eggs or odd treats from the deli in your way out.

Always pretty busy. Food menu is limited in choice but the quality of the food is great. Seating area is lovely and rustic. Deli space is a little cluttered. Would return for coffee and cake.

Popped in spontaneously for a spot of lunch today, wonderful welsh rarebit. By chance was the first day they reopened since Covid. Great enthusiasm by the team in following the new challenging Covid guidlines

I used to love it here. Recently, the standards have slipped. There s been two or three occasions where I ve ordered food and it s come without items advertised. Drinks are often forgotten, and the quality of the food and drink is inconsistent. You can go one week and it s great, the next week you get something entirely different. I won t be coming back, which is a shame as it was my local. One too many bad experiences unfortunately. Two star food hygiene, also a factor!

Probably the best breakfast I've had within Cardiff. If I had one criticism it would be, personally I would like to have my order taken at the table instead of having to go to the counter

A friendly delicatessen, staff are friendly and helpful. A quirky and pleasant environment with a great selection of foods. Sandwiches, cakes, etc. Also open for events in the evening and had parking outside the venue.
