Awesome time rafting down the river today. Our guide Cooper, made the ride very enjoyable. The staff is friendly professional and accommodating. They even had snacks waiting for us at the end of the trip. I highly recommend this establishment when in the area.
Smoky Mountain River Adventures was a great experience for our family. The price is reasonable and the service was excellent. Our guide, Skylar, did a great job. The check in process was easy and all the staff were cheerful and welcoming. We highly recommend them!
Had an awesome time in duckies going down the river! Staff was super friendly, equipment was clean and functional. The river was low on our trip, so there were enough rapids to be interesting, but nothing crazy. We mostly enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. That free popsicle at the end really hits the spot!
Great river rafting outfit. Everyone from owner to staff were easy to talk to and gave us clear tips as to how to handle the Rapids and drop offs. My guest and I are both 70 but fearless.
We opted for a 2 person kayak. The craft was highly maneuverable but with the fast current, we mostly drifted and only paddled to keep the bow perpendicular to the rapids.
I jumped in but had to beach the kayak while swimming. Water was about 68-70 .
Difficult if not impossible to swim because of the fast current.
All in all a great float. Took us 1 3/4 hours.
Stay to the right when you get close to the takeout or the current will pull you further downstream

I'm not a big fan of water activities but my family wanted to go rafting. This was a great beginner run and my 11 yr old son was able to join too.
The staff was really nice and Emily, our guide, was super fun. We all had a great time and the price was really reasonable.
Being from Florida, the water was cold but they stated it was actually warmer than normal at 60 degrees.
My partner and I agree that this was the best $40+ we ve ever spent.
The staff were friendly, accommodating, informative, and didn t try to up-sell us anything. They even lent us one of their personal doggy life vests for our dog. Thanks again!
The experience itself was fantastic. It s certainly beginner friendly, but that s not to say it s boring. There are some big dips and quite a few rocks to maneuver. There also were NOT an excessive amount of people in the river around us, so it felt a lot more private of an experience than what is offered by some of the other companies.

What a great outfitter! Staff is extremely helpful and nice all around, took the family for a quick self-guided trip and they made the process of getting on the water easy and fast. Great day on the river, highly recommend the Tuck if trying to get non-thrill seekers on the water for a bit of excitement, even more recommend using Smoky Mountain as your outfitter, could not ask for a friendlier group.
Took my three kids ages 11, 10 and 5 by myself. The team was great. Most of my kids fell in love with rafting. The 5 year old survived. Even after the rafting was over I had to drag my kids away from their generosity and their dog. It was pretty amazing to see the owner show up with supplies and watch all of the workers work together to put everything in its place. From easy booking, shocking easy, to great river guide, to the great time spending hours in the company of people that truly love what they do, I will never forget this day.
Very family friendly staff and conveniently located. The tickets were only $35 per person for a 2 hour/ 5 mile rafting trip.
The rapids were mostly class 1 with some class 2 rapids. Geared toward families, the boat guides allow you to swim at different points along the trip.
