We have special needs- Dr. Mann is so efficient in getting in and getting out, all while doing thorough and excellent dental work. Dr. Mann is patient, caring and incredibly compassionate. My 2 year old daughter had her first dentist appointment today, and I was a bit worried about how it would go, since she can be nervous and shy around new people. Dr Mann and her staff put all of us totally at ease, my daughter had a completely positive experience, and we could not be happier!
Dr Mann is so good with anxious patients! She really approaches kids respectfully, prioritizes putting them at ease and makes sure they are comfortable throughout the process- she made getting teeth pulled seem like a breeze. I'm so glad to have found her and highly recommend her.

Wonderful experience getting my son s laser frenulectomy here. Dr. Mann and staff are a pleasure to work with: extremely professional, thorough, clear and informative. In light of COVID-19, they put careful thought into the entire process: from the virtual FaceTime consultation with Dr. Mann, to the insurance billing/coverage, home care video instructions, and everything we should expect from the actual procedure. Dr. Mann made both of my children (ages 4.5 and 2.5) feel at ease during their routine check ups by showing them the equipment and explaining what she was doing using terms they would understand. She is patient, kind, and thorough. While I was concerned about how my kids would behave, Dr. Mann and her staff are obviously professionals when it comes to dealing with kids so I had nothing to worry about.

When my son was 6 days old, a lactation consultant referred me to Dr Mann to have his tongue and lip tie evaluated. It was so severe it was interfering with the joy of breastfeeding because it caused me so much pain. Dr Mann was so thorough and took the time to explain everything to me clearly. The office staff is all fantastic and very responsive. Dr Mann corrected my sons ties and had me feed him in the office before even leaving after the procedure. The improvement was instant and I was thrilled! 16 months later and we are still breastfeeding thanks to Dr Mann!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! My children and I all adore Dr. Mann, her staff, and the whole office set-up. She is very caring and thorough, and explains each treatment plan carefully and patiently so I understand her plan and the options available for treatment. We saw Dr. Mann for a lip tie our son had. She was so fantastic from explaining every aspect of the lip tie or tongue tie including photos and all information to the exam, procedure, explaining home care, her knowledge of how the lip tie would affect breastfeeding, and following up. She was so patient with us as it was our first experience at all with pediatric dentistry. Were so so greatful for having been referred to her by our IBCLC!
Dr.Mann is wonderful. She is smart, patient and kind. She is great with kids and takes the time to explain everything to the parent so they understand all their options. Her staff is just like her!
She also works well with children with special needs. An added bonus is she makes herself available on off hours if there is an emergency. My family is lucky to have found such a wonderful dentist!

The assistants and Dr. Mann are great with kids. The environment is open and bright and inviting for kids. There are iPads with educational apps to keep the kids occupied in the waiting room and prizes for them after their appointment is done. My son actually gets excited about the dentist now.

Dr. Mann is a very good dentist, technically. She clearly knows how to take care of kids' teeth. Unfortunately, in our experience, her bedside manner was a total failure. Our son was nervous to have an extraction and she intensified his fear by being oblivious to his emotional needs. Dr. Mann was impatient and scolded him when he got increasingly upset. Instead of helping to calm him down, she continued to be unempathetic and warned him that he was upsetting the other patients by crying. Our son is now terrified of her and begged us to never go back. Even though we've been seeing Dr. Mann for several years, we will find a new pediatric dentist.
My 2 yr old son had an accident and Dr. Mann came in on her day off for an emergency visit. She was so responsive and reassuring. I can't explain how much it meant to get her care and expertise in such a frantic time.

Dr. Mann and her staff are so kind and caring. No matter how busy she is, Dr. Mann always answers all of my questions and alleviates any doubts or concerns I have. I was nervous to take the kids for their regular check ups this year due to COVID, but the staff made it so easy and the extra steps taken for the screening and precautions to ensure the kids were safe was very reassuring. Most importantly, my kids ( 10 and 3) always feel at ease during checkups and treatments. Dr. Mann and her staff make sure of that!
This was my son's first time at the dentist and he did so well. Dr. Mann and staff are so nice and are so good at explaining everything. My son is super excited to go back in 6 months! My daughter also had her check up today, and she is very difficult at the dentist. The doctor and staff handled everything so well and it didn't even phase them that she was screaming her head off. I give them five stars for being so awesome to us! My son definitely loved at the end of the visit he got balloons, stickers and bouncy balls. We for sure recommend this office to all our other friends with kids!
We were greeted with kindness when we first entered the office. The kids liked choosing their own flavors (fluoride, etc). We waited just a few minutes - very timely with afterschool appointments (which I truly value & appreciate). Everyone introduced themselves with a lovely smile. Dr. Mann showed me and explained everything in a very caring way. While 2 children were being seen at the same time, my third child was offered an iPad to play games and relax. Individually each child was shown how they could do a better job brushing. From our Smileworks Entrance to Exit it was a fabulous dental visit. The team at Smile Works has been absolutely wonderful to my family. They are great at explaining things to me and my children, and really make it a fun experience too! The office is clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
My son has gone to Smile Works since his first dentist appointment. He loves going. Dr Mann and her staff put him at ease, there is nothing uncomfortable or scary at all. Between fun computers in the wait room (temporarily removed due to covid), various flavored polishes and toothpastes, and super hero glasses to protect his eyes for the exam light he thinks it's all great fun. He announced as we were leaving our last visit that "this is the best dentist ever!"
Dr. Mann could not have been more kind and gentle with our newborn. She is incredibly patient and makes herself available in anyway she can for her clients. All of the staff are courteous and friendly. This is our second child - and Dr. Mann helped our first child as well with his maxillary tie. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Mann and her staff at Smileworks Pediatric dentistry are amazing! We travel 45 minutes to see them because of how amazing they are. We had a very scared, uncooperative child who wouldn't let anyone near his mouth. When he met Dr. Mann a few years back and staff he became a new person. He looks forward to his visits and even had two baby teeth pulled with no meds today with ease. He was amazed at how quick and painless it was and how great Dr. Mann was.
I brought my son in to your office today for the first time and could not believe how kind and knowledgeable everyone was. Dr. Mann greeted me the in waiting area and fully explained the procedure of today's visit and asked through questions about my son. The staff as well double check my insurance for everything so I was rest assured things were covered. That was amazing to me. Everyone was on top of everything they had to do. My daughter always hesitates before walking into the dentist office but Dr. Mann's staffs always make her to feel comfortable and safe immediately. The experience is always fun and exciting. The highlight of our visit was me sharing in privacy with Dr. Mann a finger sucking concern and asking her for help to address the issue with my daughter. Dr Mann approached the subject so nicely with my daughter that not only caught her on surprise but it seems to have helped me on stopping my daughter from sucking her finger ever again. It does make a difference when we can count on our children's dentist for some support. Thank you Dr. Mann again!

We have been coming here since my son was 3; he is now 7. He always leaves with a smile on his face and seems to look forward to the appointment! The hygienists are always delightfully welcoming and make him feel comfortable during the cleaning. Everything was explained to him as it was being done so he learns some things too. Dr. Mann is great with kids (and parents too), educating on good dental care and giving us a heads up of what we will need on the next visit. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

And to see Dr Mann s interaction with my daughter, I was SOLD then and there =D Dr Mann was so accommodating and willing to try the most conservative approaches to ease my mind while ensuring the work got done. Ultimately, we worked with Dr Barnes as well and I am so relieved that her smile is healthy and as beautiful as ever. Worth the half hour drive any time!!

They go above and beyond to create an amazing and seamless visit from start to finish. They offer amazing incentives for kids to stay healthy and motivated with their dental hygiene and they are involved in many ways with their community. Above all they ensure the kids feel cared for and valued. I can t say enough about Smileworks and I am incredibly grateful for them.
Dr Mann and all of her staff at Smileworks Dentistry are the kindest and most wonderful professionals in their field. My kids aren t afraid to go to the dentist and are usually totally okay with going. (I can t say they are excited to go, let s be realistic, it s the dentist!) This is saying a lot, my daughter is usually very nervous about anything medical related, especially shots. She has had fillings filled at Smileworks and really enjoyed the experience. She was able to watch her favorite movie or Netflix show during the procedure, while laying down and relaxing. No shots to numb her teeth and no pain whatsoever. While I wasn t in the room with her (lasers are used), I could hear Dr Mann and her assistant being wonderful with my daughter and making sure she was completely comfortable. Afterwards, my daughter was showered with praise and toys! Why can t my dentist be like this?? My son is autistic and has difficulty with communicating, especially in fun new environments. Leah, my kid s dental hygienist, is wonderfully patient with him. She customizes his cleanings so my son can remain calm and as comfortable as possible. No rush to get done. I can sit with him on my lap if needed, which helps him stay still and chill while getting cleaned. She is wonderful at explaining to the kids and myself how to best care for their little teeth. Even though the drive to Smileworks is sort of long and there is a children s dental practice 5 mins away from my home, we will always go to Dr Mann and her team for as long as my kids are allowed! I have never had any issue with Smileworks, no billing problems and never any issues with employees. Her front desk secretaries are organized and professional. All of my scheduling, insurance and refunds have gone through quickly and without snags. I love this place and have recommended them to other parents! I consider Dr Mann and most of her team trusted friends and a very important part of my family s health care team
Dr. Mann did a fantastic job with my 8 year old's chipped tooth. Her bedside manner is fantastic and she immediately soothed my daughter's fears and my own. She saw my daughter as soon as possible and did an excellent job recreating my daughter's smile. I couldn't be happier with the service and will certainly be back.
We have been coming to this practice for almost five years. My son was experiencing toothache. Unfortunately it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Dr. Mann and her staff were gracious enough to fit us in at the end of the day so that my son could be seen same day. Thankfully it wasn t a cavity but just some growing pains from new teeth coming in. Dr. Mann is always helpful, professional, and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
The nurses had great bedside manor with my children. My Son was really having a hard time and the nurse remained calm and friendly. The doctor was great. She seems to really care about children's dental needs and it made feel at ease to make her my children's dentist.

Dr. Mann and her staff, however, are so utterly deserving! She is one of the most caring, professional and dedicated medical professionals i have ever had the pleasure of interacting with, both as a mom of two girls (who LOVE visiting her every time!) And as a fellow Healthcare provider, who just knows she does it all the "right" way.

What a great experience we had today at Smile Works! My daughter (11) had to have a permanent tooth pulled as well as a few other things. Dr. Mann and her staff were amazing. My daughter was completely at ease watching Netflix while getting her dental work done painlessly. Dr.Mann has a great way with children and is very informative to parents. What a pleasant experience! My 4 yr old had x rays, a cleaning and an exam. Our hygienist, Leah, was friendly and described step by step what she was doing, which put my child at ease. My 2 yr old had a first cleaning and an exam. Leah showed how all the cleaning instruments worked first - showing on my little one s hand what they would feel like and sound like. Then was encouraging the whole time. Dr. Mann is knowledgeable to say the least. She thoroughly checked both children and reviewed information with me. I had time to ask questions without feeling rushed. The front staff is super helpful and pleasant and the facility is perfect for kids - iPads, cool sunglasses and toothbrushes, bouncy balls and balloons. They were on schedule and we were out within 35 minutes for two appointments. Highly recommend!
Dr. Mann is the absolute best pediatric dentist. She is truly gifted. My daughter had two teeth extracted and I wasn t even sure anyone would be able to get it done because she is so petrified. Dr. Mann instantly put her at ease. My daughter was comfortable in her office and throughout the entire procedure. She even bragged to her sister afterward that it was a piece of cake!
Dr. Mann has it all. She is EXCELLENT with children (kind and friendly), a great dentist who knows her stuff, and is efficient with time (you never wait). I debated taking my 3-year-old to my adult dentist, because it was closer to home, but after seeing how amazing Dr. Mann was with him, I couldn't be happier with my choice!

Dr. Mann is truly an expert in pediatric dentistry. She is knowledgable and professional as well as kind and caring. We've been using her for our two children for eight years, and both of my kids love going to her office. Her staff is warm and supportive. Dr. Mann and her staff are wonderful! Dr. Mann is so detail oriented and patient! My children walk out of here office so happy and proud of themselves! My children tell everyone how awesome Dr. Mann is and I couldn't agree more!

We have been bringing our 2 daughters to Dr. Mann's since 2014. Each visit, each year, is a joy--the staff and entire team of Smileworks not only works to calm and soothe and encourage each child at every level (whether anxious or excited!), the truest level of care, commitment, and heart is felt the strongest. I trust Dr. Mann and her staff wholeheartedly and my girls just adore her and the team! Each experience we have makes us feel supported, any questions or concerns are heard and understood, and any worries are moved gently aside. This office is a blessing and gift to the whole community!
