SMG / BOK Center Review

Considering my location, I have to travel outside the state to see the best concerts! The BOK Center in Tulsa is one of my favorites for the following reasons: awesome venue, the greatest bands play there, hotels in the area have shuttle service or are close enough to walk, acoustics are extremely good, it s easy in and out, and it s beautiful! For us smokers, they even have a nice outside area where we can go without any problems. The staff is great & it s handicap friendly! A great plus is that Tulsa has so many things to do and see as well as great restaurants!

The BOK is my favorite place for a large concert, I could not begin to tell you how many shows I have seen here.

This place is huge...the only thing is there is very little leg room ...

It was cold outside, inside it was indoor temperature. Keep it up. Good job. Would come back, when warmer

It's totally awesome. Although parking may be bad, and food prices high, the quality of the area and it's events are top notch. We Tulsans are so lucky to have it.

Very roomy seats. Cup holders at every chair. Nice clean bathrooms. As far as venues go this is one of the nicest.

I've been to many events here and the staff are always friendly, the bathrooms are kept mostly clean with the amount of people going in and out of them. The events I've been to are always great, the sound is great, everything is well balanced. I'd definitely go here for more shows if I lived closer.

Possibly the best venue of its kind in the US. Definitely the best in the midwest/central US. It is a shame there are no National Sport Franchises that call this venue home. AA center, eat your heart out.

Denies you public liberties and mocks you for attempting to defend them.

Great staff and could make improvements on the food but all around a good arena for the area that it's in.

Facility at the BOK Center is always clean. The lines move fairly quick. The snacks/food/drinks at the concession are moderately priced. The stay are nice and happy to help you if you need it. Great place to go with your family or for a date!

Great concert venue, good concessions, a nice new venue, my only big complaint is they run their PA way too loud for hockey games. I don't want to sound like an old fuddy duddy but when you have to think about ear plugs for a local hockey game it's too damn loud. It's a hockey game, not a concert!

Went for a hockey game. The facility is very nice. Ticket prices are too high, though. There was less than 15% capacity in attendance.

Over priced for the quality of acts and venue, but not bad for Tulsa overall, parking is a real issue

I was at the Pumpkin Patch Classic this visit. It was free. The BOK Center is great for attending any event!

Great venue for sports and today's hottest music acts.

First time evr bieng there and seen Kelly Clarkson and her beautiful posse..awsome building and great sound sum seating right in front..over all its awsome!!!

This a memory day for me for the first time here to see Ozuna with my daughter celebrating her birthday Very nice not crowded and parking was close everuthing was perfect it was one of my best days!!!!

The concert I went to sounded terrible. You couldn't hear the vocals. The microphones kept screeching. Worst venue I've ever been to.

Here for Big12 Wrestling Championship 2021 - (Section 112 - Row S photo) One can easily see all four mats from the lower level. We had seats in a corner section and I felt comfortable looking over to the farthest mat. Friendly staff and actually reasonable concession prices. About 2/3 of the food stands are open, but choices are plentiful. Felt safe during COVID-19.

Moody blues still rock the house. 50 years. How did that happen? Use lighter app for setting the mood. Lots of 50 and 60 something's rocking the house man.

It's okay. It's really small. And it looks uuuugly. But hey. You can go see a concert or game or what have you there.

First class facility which makes for a first class experience on every visit.

Not allowed to go in and out to smoke cigarettes and they are way too proud of everything they sell food will make you sick and everything else sucked

I loved that the venue is not oversized. Every angle seemed close to the action.

The staff is very friendly and security gets people through the gates very quickly! The vendors are always helpful and knowledgeable

I have had a problem with getting my tickets!!!! Avoid at all cost!! Will never purchase from here again! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ALL

My friend and I went to the Imagine Dragons concert here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing. Coming in, the security check was super easy and efficient, so we weren't standing there forever, all the employees were very helpful in directing us to our seats, and it was just an overall great experience. Love having such a great building that hosts amazing concerts so close to home.

Easy to navigate the building but it would be cool if yall had more than one entrance and 3 borrowed parking spaces. The events are getting cooler. Just need some businesses to help with parking options.

This is a good venue. There is a ton of good seating. There are tons of bathrooms. Normally if there is a line outside one, you can walk 100 yards and go to another one. There are tons of food/alcohol vendors.

Concerts are always very secure on the inside and outside

We got to the Iron Maiden show on 2-26-16 an hour and fifteen minutes early at 6:15pm. Then we stood in a slow moving line outside that circled BOK until 8:00pm before making entrance. As we stood in line we noted people cutting in front of us all from varied areas. Inside we were like cattle being led into a bottleneck so that our tickets could be scanned. By the time we got to our seats it was 8:15pm and we'd missed the entire set from The Raven Age, the opening band, except their last song. I am 45 years old, I've been to countless concerts, and I've never had such a poor experience with getting into a venue. We spent nearly $300 for our tickets and were denied the ability to see the first band due to the sheer incompetence of the BOK staff and security. Seeing the full set by The Raven Age is part of our ticket price and the show. As that didn't happen for us and several thousand fans I'd say we were ripped off. Making matters worse, we drove to Tulsa from Des Moines, Iowa, because we'd never been here. So, we won't be returning to spend our hard earned dollars at BOK or in Tulsa because they represent a poor tourist experience.

I enjoy going here to see a good concert. Tickets can be pricey but most of the time it's worth it

Great place for concerts. Front row seating is a little to close together for the price of the tickets though.

Clean, friendly staff, plenty of vendors, drinks made good, shows never disappoint.

Great venue for events . Saw two excellent concerts there , Rush 2010 & Roger Waters 2017
