Every time I have called Smart City - EVERY SINGLE PERSON is nice and accommodating. I have no idea why they have less than 5 stars. People need to stop being so demanding and just give grace. Too many people out here judging instead of appreciating an actual person picks up the phone when you call Smart City.

Forced to have it through my apartment complex, typically have to reset my router 3x a day minimum. Currently, it s been out for over 3 hours across the entire complex and they haven t sent anyone to fix it. If you can find better WiFi, do it.

I have been a customer of Smart City since they are my only option for an ISP where I live. Unfortunately they have decided not to participate in the government's temporary pandemic relief assistance program, the Emergency Broadband Benefit. Every other major cable and internet company is participating. Instead of helping their community, they would rather residents who are approved for the temporary monthly assistance not be able to use that benefit in these unprecedented times of online work and school. It is truly sad that they care this little about their customers to not participate in a program that is of no cost to them.

Having fiber to the house is amazing. Its insanely fast both down and up, which is nice when you have to get work done and push some big files around. The service technicians are top notch, and the few times I've had to contact customer service I actual spoke to a friendly local human. I only experienced one major outage, when the service was first rolling out. We even had internet through the hurricane.

Better choose a different provider, there is a catch in the contract and you may be charged 1 1/2 year of service at the time of disconnection like us unless you planning it long ago like you have only this to think about.
You may not appreciate those snicky contracts at all.
And yes they don't care at all, we can confirm this for fact.
