Went with a bachelor party of 10 and had a blast. We had Q as our ref and he was great. You're better off upgrading your gun as the one that comes with the admission fee isnt the best. Went to about 6 different places and did multiple different types of matches. The only 2 things I ddnt like was that the start process was to long. Took about 2 hrs before we started our first match and the refs need to be more on top of people shooting at each other within 10 feet.

I used to work for their partner company, Pocono Whitewater, many (many) years ago and I'm So impressed to see how much Skirmish has grown and improved! A great adrenaline rush to be put in one of those "what if" situations!

Staffing is taken seriously. They're a close knit crew to the owners, one of which is a legend in the sport. Anyone could knit-pick select issues such has the price on a case of paint, but on a whole the organization is very very well run.

As for the fields... The huge amount of space is to be blunt, GREAT! They boast over 700 acres where most top notch facilities have 80 to 150 acres. But for Skirmish it's overkill. You'd need days to play all the fields. As best I've learned, hardly used. I play major scenarios which use the same field locations year-after-year.

What is important is the ground. Most ALL paintball injuries are sports related, not from from paintball markers but from people injuring themselves while running, jumping etc... Some of the land at Skirmish is rough. The woods have a good bit of exposed rocks and roots. So be advised, pick fields (from 50 fields) that are clear of roots and rocks. This is NO joke.

If you are a first time paintballer, you'll have a great time at Skirmish. They will over photography services and upgrades to really great paintball markers so don't expect a standard rental paintball gun to hold you back if you think you want a better marker to shoot with.

While the ground and price of paint is my only real concern at Skirmish I can't give them less than 5 stars because it's honestly a great organization that despite these minor issues is still well above scores of other paintball facilities across the US.

If you have a chance to play at their Castle, do it. It's a once in a lifetime experience you should not miss out on. To see actual footage search DangerMan and or Beginner Paintball.

Went to almost all of the sites and can only say I really like 1. Most are very awkward and just not that great. The goggles fog up all the time so you can not anything and it is too expensive for that. The people were nice even though they seemed to hate each other and the one drank alcohol the whole time.

Hands dow the best paint ball place you will go to the staff is very nice and the feilds are amazing the only reason why it received 4 stars is because the price of this place is a little ridiculous the amounf of money thwy make on just the paintballs alone is ludicrous

Terrible customer service. We made a reservation as one of the stops for a bachelor party. We arrived at 5:00 knowing that they closed at 6:00. Willing to play for the time we had. When we got there we were greeted by a surly staff member who told us that they were closing soon so it was no point in even bothering to go on the field. He was starting to tell us to come back, when I told him that we would just play for the time we had. He snapped No let me finish, and proceeded to tell me that I should come back at 9:00 in the morning. I told him that we had a large party from all over and that we wanted to play. He said fine you are in charge of gathering all the forms and getting everything together. after we got the forms together, he returned to reiterate that we really should just go home after spending $300and without a refund. At this point I asked him to stop telling me that, as it was not helpful. I asked him to help us rather than do heckle us and ask us to leave. He responded get your mask on. When we arrived to the paintball field, my gun fell apart and spilled my paintballs all over the ground. There was no one there to assist me. Our referee was a nasty little child, with an Napoleon complex. He kept reiterating that there was not a lot of time. Which we were well aware of. While we were playing we called a timeout to gather more paintballs and regroup. He became very upset asked us to please return to playing, as we did not have that much time left. The time seemed to be so much of an issue for the staff, that it almost ruined our trip. No one in our group was concerned about how much time we had, and we hadn't planned on playing for that long anyway. The child told me several times to return to the field as if he was in charge of me. When I reminded him that we had spent close to $300 to be there and to treat us with some customer service he became very quiet and sulked for the rest of the time

Awesome place to play paintball in a variety of settings ranging from middle of woods to a multi-level castle. As is often the case, only paint purchased there may be used. Deals such add those from Living Social help to ease the financial burden.

Went there my 1st time a couple years ago, everyone was telling me how awesome it is "it's the best place in the world to paintball" well let me tell ya, after about 7 visits. This place is AMAZING, a Lil pricey with the paint, but you get what you pay for. Nice Refs, Great maps, exciting and exhilarating. Can't wait to try the "Invasion of Normandy" Aka "ION". I've gone to other facilities on the east coast ALL fail in comparison
