Colleen is a wonderful teacher! She gives all of her students individual attention and helps them create artwork that inspires them. She encourages creativity and imagination as well as teaches valuable and essential skills for drawing and painting. Everyone from children to adults will learn foundational drawing skills and learn about composition, perspective, values and colors. You will be amazed at the progress that students make during their time in class! The Sketch Pad offers different age and skill levels of classes so there is definitely something for everyone here!

Colleen Carter is snippy toward anyone who makes a suggestion. She lets the kids do whatever they want and calls it creativity. She has talent but is more one of those artist that have flaky ideas about how to express creativity. At $85-$95 up front supply fees and the same amount monthly you might want to seek out an artist that is there to teach the concepts of ART.

I take Art lessons at Sketch Pad and its amazing!!!! I love the class I'm in and I've learned SOOOOO much! I love my art instructor, Colleen, because she teaches art in a way you would never think is possible. I absolutely LOVE it there and highly recommend taking lessons there!!

I began taking classes at Sketch Pad Art Studio in January of 2014. I have always been able to draw, but after losing my husband tragically in 2010, I wanted to find some way to transform the pain I felt into something positive. I found what I was looking for. I find Colleen to be caring about her students, excited to see them learn and progress, and always willing to give guidance. My Tuesday evenings are a blessing to me and I look forward to the opportunities in Art that Sketch Pad Art Studio provides me.

I was introduced to Colleen and the studio by my sister who had taken adult drawing and painting there for years. I can say in the months that I have had the chance to study under Colleen I have grown a lot artistically.

Colleen is an excellent artist and a gifted instructor.
