Sixtie's diner Review

Good music, American food and sports. The staff is not the best, but everything works in itself.

Went here to get something quick to eat before flying home to Dublin and must say I was pleasantly surprised. I had a burger with fries and it was superb just as a burger should be, cooked through yet still juicy. Service was friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable for a diner.
All in all a very pleasant experince

And a star is already overrated. You wait for over an hour for a sticky burger with frozen boules. Garlic bread is lumpy toasted bread. Operation slow. If Bewag switches off the power here, it is not a loss.

Friendly service and very good selection of dishes and drinks

Know the store now at the 10 years ... It has really done but NOTHING in this time. Except the outdoor area ... Inside everything is very old and really clean I think it is not. Nachos you can order well, but the rest of the food, nothing that would blow me away. Overall: nice concept, but without a modernization not really appealing.

So the food really tastes good for y years even after the renovation. And it can also be seen that the Route 66 / Sixties somehow feels a bit like America.

But: if you look closely, the exterior cultivation and the operations left a lot to be desired.

Very tasty and great and friendly service. They have great burgers even late at night.

The sixties had better times. The furniture has survived its time for a long time, the food is on the way to convenience fast food. The price-performance ratio is still correct, but it is no longer a culinary experience. And apart from the worn out furnishings and the now rotten menus, not very American either. Clearly, no longer recommended and only suitable as an alternative to McDonalds

Beer tastes good, but you can wait an hour for the food. In addition, there is no ventilation and operation difficult to understand.

We wanted to have a nice evening. Ordered something to eat and drink, the burgers were unfortunately inedible, then the waitress addressed us in a friendly manner and told us we are not the first to complain.

Great offer reasonable prices for the huge portion of super nice staff so that can only be recommended we felt comfortable there and it tasted that the plates totally Javan so thumbs up and on so a whole troupe just fantastic that there are such places

In the sixties I like to sit comfortably to eat ... enjoy would be the more appropriate expression. Staff is always attentive and friendly.

Extremely loud, nothing to entertain. Food goes like this. Toilets smell very unpleasant. Operation overwhelmed. The shop used to be better. I can no longer recommend it.

Prices are ok, quality of the burger was not convincing. The service was not really available. Big plus: There is Budweiser! And enough screens that you can follow the sports channels from almost everywhere.

Food was only mediocre. So for the price one expects better quality (concerns Buger) the sauce tasted like bulk goods from the tube so I could have made it myself. If you have to go to the toilet before eating, you should think twice. It smells of something again when you go to the toilet (down the stairs) that you want to puke. So that the staff does not notice and what is done about it is incomprehensible to me. (affects both toilets as it smells hearty on the way to the toilet) and men's toilet full of grease on the doors and walls should be removed.

Otherwise cobwebs in the corners and loose cables on the ceiling. It just looks stupid. Wouldn't every normal person have in his apartment. And in the Sixties you are a paying guest (customer). Positive because of this, two stars were the seats, very soft but something else. Service was ok but nothing with wow super nice or rather handling.

We weren't fed up either.
Ok we didn't eat either, it wasn't tasty.
Afterwards we went to Maximilian and each ate 2 more curry sausages.
Sad but unfortunately true.

Very delicious food and delicious cocktails, drink only alcohol-free but super delicious. The employees are always in a good mood and always nice. You can also watch football very well, no matter where you sit you always have a view of a television.

Cool location, American diner or sports bar, where all football matches and other sporting events such as boxes are shown on many televisions. No matter where you sit, you always have a good view of one of the TVs. Without sports, also a really good restaurant with very nice service and delicious food with a large selection of dishes. Highly recommended is the breakfast there. My personal highlight is the brownie.

Food loveless and fat! All finished goods, from meat, coleslaw to burger bread. It's a shame, especially in these times when there are really good burger shops !!!

Top location, but you could forget the food, audience sometimes remarkably uncivilized after consuming fire water

Burgers were okay. Meat was not so plump, but well booked.
French fries could have been crisper.
Nachos were okay.
All portions were quite large.

Draft beer was extremely stale.

Service was good and nice.

It was very loud .... but okay, it was Friday night and crowded.

The food was good, the cocktails were all a bit strong, but the reason for my point deduction was the a bit too cheeky service. We were three students (not earners) and together had a bill of 60 . When we paid with a card and did not tip, which had the simple reason that she had not served us that evening and we had to wait half an hour for the bill, she wanted to give us a 'tip'.
We should tip next time, 10% would be standard and if we can not, then we should order less and tip more.
I was rarely so shocked!

Like in the movies, you have a feeeling you are in some bar in America. Food are awesome. Maybe you waiting a waiters little longer.

We went back yesterday and it's delicious again and the staff friendly. Great, that's how we like it and we'll be back.

No long waiting times after ordering, although the place was well attended, as is usually the case. However, the staff was very rude. Have been disappointed lately. Has decreased significantly. Food quality used to be better. Drink prices are good.

Eating is not a hit. Prices plentiful. Ambience, well, if you like sticky and ragged, then great.

The furniture is worn, toilets smelled very bad. There were no menus we had to look online. The beer was low in carbon dioxide. Food was all frozen goods. The sparerips are bad and old or tough. At least these were not calculated. Unfortunately not recommended at all.

After conversion even more beautiful everything else in the old.

After the long conversion I would have expected more. The quality of the food and the service have diminished. Too bad. It was my last visit yesterday. The amount of meat in my burger was very, very low and not even properly cooked. I got a new meal with fried meat after complaining but that did not change my mind about the restaurant. We had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks. Other guests felt similar.

our troop goes to eat with you more often, but how can it be that the beer tower stands on the map and you only get two pitchers. The waitress does not blame, but the bartender.

Statement from the bartender:
I'm not going to get a beer tower out to clean it then and you should take it as it comes. Finally, I'll do it for two weeks or two months, he said.

To be honest, that was the last time we ate and drank there. You really do not have to offer such an answer.

Our favorite place. All chic except that the burger never come as ordered.

In short: service poor, facilities (especially the toilets) cruel and the food is even more catastrophic. Never eaten so badly in life!

American retro restaurant with charm that has unfortunately been gnawed by the ravages of time.
The food is really nothing special, mass processed goods. Breakfast is composed of very cheap goods.
The waitresses are attentive, but not very dedicated or courteous. Sometimes there are major problems with the German language.
The ambience of the restaurant is very nice, the prices are okay, unfortunately no money is invested in maintaining the restaurant because there is hardly any seating furniture in perfect condition, something is always torn or chipped somewhere. There is always something missing from the corners and edges of the walls. The toilets are acceptable.
Access to the restaurant is also possible with a wheelchair, the toilets are in the basement without an elevator.

Staff pretty forgetful, cocktails not very good. Eating not particularly. Not recommended

The diner is nicely decorated, you have plenty of space.
However, I have not had a good experience!
I ordered non-alcoholic beer, instead it came with alcohol and the waitress informed me that there was so little in there that I could still drink it. Dessert came after 1 hour and only after the second request. Drinks were forgotten or mixed up several times by the waitress. The food is unfortunately not the real thing either ... A lot of frozen / ready products that end up on your plate with little love ...
The list could go further, but we'll leave it at that. We will not be returning and definitely not recommend it !!!

Drinks still OK, staff overwhelmed and extremely loud! No conversation over 80 cm possible, before the renovation I found it much nicer and more personal.
Why do you wait 12 minutes for a Coke? I do not know it either...
The prices are based on the average and the portions with the food are plentiful.

Sports bar in the style of the US 50s / 60s. The seats look iconic but are totally uncomfortable.
The food is very good. I would particularly like to highlight the Chili Con Carne.
The service is nice and courteous.
There is a small parking lot behind the property. Otherwise, parking spaces can only be found in the area.
There are tons of screens for sports coverage.

Absolutely not recommendable! My sister had a caterpillar in the salad! The quality is much better in other American restaurants!
