Good place but service is awful 40 mins to get in. Plus my girlfriend got her flipflops stolen while on one of the rides, ridiculous!!

Some of the rides were broke down for long periods of time but other then that it was good
They still can't seem to figure out how to manage their food services, but it's a good deal for the price of a season ticket.
A group of 22 of went here and as a group we had an excellent time. We happened to have made it there on a day with small lines and no need to have a fast pass. Thst being said you should scope out your rides when you arrive to determine if a fast pass is the right thing for you. What's nice about them is that you can be virtually waiting in line while your out roaming the park.
The rides were amazing and 90% of the employees were excellent. There was a lady at the pirate ship ride who looked like she hated her job. Only six people were sitting on the ship and after a few more people showed up she refused to allow them onto the ride.
Food and drinks of course are expensive however if you get a drink all day cup the vendors will fill it with water for you. That saves money on the over priced bottled water.
Online ticket ordering offered excellent discounts on ticket and parking prices not to mention a shorter wait time to get into the park.
Personally I would recommend this park and would absolutely return with my group again.
Love six flags great America i remember in the early late 90's there was no water park . Is the water park and rides one price??
Although it's rather pricey, we enjoyed quality time with our kids.
I love SF America because the superman is really fun the best part of the superman is when you go up the hill and then you go down really fast.So much fun.
Great place for the whole family to have fun the season pass with the food package is a must.
This place is amazing. So many rides and things to do with the kids. The food I'd pricy other wise this place is great.
Not as crowded. Got to do ask the ride wanted in one day. Superman ride disappointed me as my VR crashed both time I ride the damn thing.
It was fine for a weekend day. Lines were long, food and drinks were high. I brought my own.
We've visited several Six Flags and this one by far had the fastest roller coasters.
Fun place with amazing new riding too! Wonder Woman is out this year! Wow!
I still take my kids here but I used to like it back in the days.. now is not at safe, parents just drop their minor kids off and all they do is cause problems. The pools need to be updated because they look kind of old and the staff is not as friendly as you would want for a place that it s meant for kids mostly. I go because is close for me and my kids love it because I make sure they have fun and not worry about people looking for trouble. They should really implement more strict rules and they should hire people that are not as rude!
Overall, the park is good. Rides are also good with lots of variety. Water park is also good with sta dard set of rides you would find in any other water park. What I dislike most about the park is, there are no water fountains. They don't allow you to carry water and charge you almost $6 for a bottle of water which I find ridiculous.
The Park is divided into a water park and the rides park.
As far as the rides park is concerned, it is geared more towards rollercoaster which they have a great variety and are all a lot of fun. But, they do have an area for kids and splash rides.
The park is sized well enough so you don't get too tired from walking around from ride to ride and each themed area is well decorated.
Overall, it's a lot of fun and worth checking it out.
The staff was courteous and friendly, and the cleanliness of the park overall was satisfactory. Wait times for most rollercoasters were reasonable for the most part, but could have been better had the staff added the second set of available cars to the ride. The food was adequate, not about exactly what one would expect from an amusement park. Ultimately, I would return to this location in the future.
Loved the water park. Needs a better selection of food for adults.
Fun but expensive, they don't let you bring in food or drink , my son and I each purchased a cheeseburger fries and then shared a drink and it was $36 and some change!
Really fun. Refill cup is the best, the roller coasters are fun.
Went there when the park opened on a Sunday, literally no line at all for the rides, guess just got lucky ! Bt definitely going early will make the park worth . The rides were fun and we were able to go to each and every roller coaster
Bring money, lots of money. Everything is overpriced, starting with the admission cost. The owner, Dan Snyder, uses high prices to help finance his failed NFL team, the Washington Redskins.
Much nicer when its not too crowded. Wave Pool was clean and cool
The park was overall disgusting. Employees walking around on the phones not doing anything at all. It was 70 and sunny and 5 of their biggest rides were closed. We had multiple problems throughout the day. Extremely ghetto park (go figure) with no proper management.
It was amazing the rides were fun amd the water rides were just amazing the joker was scary yet fun but the food was expensive so that was a downfall to the place but everything else was fun.
Not the best fun I had and the good sucks. I know when I go to amusement parks for the great food.
I really dont like that I have to pay to enter the park and then some rides cost even more. I get a ticket and the meal plan at amusement parks so I dont have to carry a lot of extra cash
It was fun but the food is high there but fun you will have fun with your family
Bring your own food!!!! Great rides. Fun for the whole family.
First the good - the park was fairly clean and the landscaping was well maintained.
However, the employees throughout the park could not have been more disinterested in their job. None of them interacted with the guests, most of them didn't even seem concerned about safety. For example, on the water rides, they didn't care how closely together guests went down the slides - in fact, they didn't seem to know if the previous guest was out of the way or not...just a slight nod when asked if it was ok to proceed. On another ride, the crew was the most inefficient crew imaginable. The line could have been much, much shorter had the crew just used a bit of logic and common sense on how to keep things moving. Instead, it was a painfully long wait...both in line, and while loading/unloading from the ride! One operator actually seemed shocked that we knew how to buckle our seat belts prior to his instructions.
But the absolute worst part of the park was the food service. Not only was it outrageously expensive ($40 for 4 bottles of water & 3 pretzels with cheese), the service was excruciatingly slow, and the pretzels were dry and tasteless. Even the small side of cheese wasn't enough to make the pretzel edible. We ended up throwing away 1.5 of the 3 pretzels because as hungry as we were, and reluctant to toss away that much money, we were simply unable to consume them. And that's saying a lot for a family with 2 teenage boys!
We live near another Six Flag park, and enjoy visiting other parks when we go on vacation. It's what my boys live for! This park appeared more well maintained than our local park, but that's the only thing they excelled at. Customer service was non existent - employees were listless and completely disinterested in their jobs, or the safety and well being of the guests. This park is certainly not on my list of "must visit again".
Overall I give it a 4. The rides are decent aswell as the price of admission. Parking is a little expensive. It can be very very crowded from time to time with bus loads of inner city school kids from Baltimore and DC. Other then that not too bad.
We enjoyed spending the day here for our "Family Fun Day". The park was very clean. The park employees were very nice & friendly. Great customer service. The lines weren't long at all. We ate at Johnny Rockets & the food was fantastic! I had the best cookies & cream funnel cake ever! We ended the night at the wave pool & they had a live DJ on site. The atmosphere at this park is very nice. We are thinking about getting season passes. I highly recommend this family friendly park.
The only reason to come here is the water park and Superman
Customer service is not good. Lines are too long. Park is not exciting or kept up well.
Pricey - $5 for a small bottle of water in the arena. Rides are so so for kids
The Worse place Ever! Melissa the Cabana manger stated "The 6flags people on the phone are dumb and don't know what they are doing and she keeps telling you all about the issue and y'all do nothing so it's nothing she can do". It shuts the rides down at 7:30p but park closed at 9p....
I love six flag because of the water slides and the new Superman rollercoast
Park had great rides. Service seems a bit better this year. Staff that was actually responsive. But its early we shall see.
Went for a work gathering. Smaller than Jersey but it does have some really good rides and entertainment for fright fest. Didn't have to wait in any lines most of the day, which was awesome. Compared to six flags in Jersey, it feels like the forgotten sibling but we had a good time.
The only reason we still go is the convenience. Closest amusement park to the DC area. Plus the rides are decent. But the cleanliness is just not there. We went for Holidays in the Park and as usual they needed more workers for the food lines.
My first time at 6 flags and some of the customer service sucked. The Service on some rides they had very nasty attitude to us as consumers. And when it was time to leave out bc of weather there was only one person stamping arms so we could get back in while there was 3 or 4 others not doing anything.
Made me pay for parking even with a gold membership. Staff is beyond incompetent.
I m so disappointed with six flags. They tried to over charge me for season passes. Each pass was only 99$ each and I had 6 passes. If I never checked my bank statements I would of never known that they were still charging me month after month. I had to put a stop payment on them and I still get emails saying my payment is over due. They some robbers
It's a good place to have fun. A
tip for everyone: come comfortable. L
the fancy jewelry, extensions, make up & expensive clothes at home trust me.
You'll have A LOT more fun when your not worried about losing an eyelash, messing up your FAVORITE shoes/shirt or half your face washing away LOL. Even if you don't plan on eating or going near the water, there are some many children and...kids make messes LOL
Dress nice, but simple. Wear things you don't mind losing and don't worry too much about looking social media ready! If youre tryna meet a new love, wouldn't you want them to like you without all the fancy stuff anyway?
Have fun. Get messy. Get wet
4 rides were out of commision over the course of the day we went....everything is overpriced, as expected. The staff isnt particularly friendly. A couple rides are fun and made it worthwhile
It is a beautiful place, there is a lot to visit, a whole day is not enough it is definitely a nice experience, a very fun place
Worst park ever. I want my money back and they still haven't returned my calls
It was a Memorable experience with my dr Friends in Six Flags America at MD
Excellent value for the money. Slow concessions though. Overall Value 4 stars.
Pretty dangerous I do not know really if it is a safe place for kids. Worth the price of admission.
Get the Platinum or diamond pass to separate yourself from some of the ghetto black folks there great family fun
The only reason i m even giving it one stars is because the rides were okay. When i was walking into the park i was going through the security check and i was told i was not allowed in the park because you could see through my leggings. My leggings were not revealing at all. I was told i needed to either buy a shirt from them to cover my butt or leave and go put on different pants. After buying a shirt that i did not like or want i started to explore the park. While walking around i see many women wear shear pants around the park that were far more revealing than what i had on. Also people entering the park without shirts on. I want to know why i was being looked at so closely by the employees when others were allowed to wear far worse?? I wouldn t go back or recommend anyone go.
Don't ever buy the membership! They make you pay $228 dollars and not only make you work to get your preferred parking, but half the time you can't even reserve it on the weekend unless you plan way far in advance because the reservations are full. To top it all off, they threaten you when you do reserve parking by saying if you don't show up and use your reservation, your privileges will be revoked. That is customer service at it's finest! The food is terrible. The employees are so rude and disrespectful. They don't care that people are there to have fun and they are the reason why a fun day turns into a not so fun day. Then you try and talk with supervisors about your poor experienceS , they don't care either. No compassion.
We had a great time here. The staff weren't sure how the fast passes worked and we didn't really need them anyway as the park wasn't busy, thankfully we were able to get a refund on them due to them not working properly. The rides are loads of fun and the water park equally good. I will definitely visit again.
