Was not impressed at all with this place. It s over priced and offers very little for what they charge. No discount for military (which is a lack of respect in my opinion) and they closed the gift shop 3 hours early so we could not even go in.
Coolest touch tank I have ever seen. Not much too this place, but I am glad we stopped in and paid to get inside. Worth some of your day when you are on shore from a cruise.
Fun little spot in Sitka, not the typical venue for cruise ship tourists but a great spot to take your kids. It's small and won't take much time but there is a lot of interesting sea life and really cool touch tanks. The workers were extremely friendly and talked with us for a while. There's a cool salmon hatchery outside that I would recommend; they provide a self guided tour sheet and you can learn about the differences between a farm and a hatchery. Good place to visit for a family.
Great place to go and learn about the native fish species and observe a productive fishery. Awesome staff.

Wonderfully interactive aquarium of local sea life. Located in a picturesque setting adjacent to Sitka Historic Park (Totem Park). A must do if you have kids or are a kid at heart. The touch pools were fun and the gift shop had great kids gift items.
