It was amazing experience at the hotel. The service was excellent and the breakfast was so filling and so many choices! I will definitely recommend the place!

The Sir Thomas bar/ restaurant was very modern, got served quickly, the bar staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location not too noisy but handy for central Liverpool
Great location but could do with having some work done on it
Great place to stay in the middle of City Centre. Pleasant and very helpful staff.
Awful rude staff .
Terrible food and a long wait to be served
We happened to end up in this restaurant. It looks neat and quite modern. It was very quiet around noon. We ate a tasty lunch with richly filled sandwiches (advocado and mozzarella / chicken), cola zero and good coffee. The waiter was extremely friendly, perhaps a bit shy. The price was slightly higher than normal but we also expected that in a restaurant that is part of a hotel.
Friendly staff Welcomed us on arrival told us where we could sit to have a drink. Had to go the bar ourselves had to go back to the bar a couple of times to bring our round of drinks back to our table no offer of help to carry save keep going back and to we thought it would have been table service
Stayed for one night in room 214. The noise throughout the night was ridiculous, only single pane window in this room looking out onto a side street. The noise was constant!! If staying here I suggest you take ear plugs, other than that rest of hotel was lovely, rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable, good central location.
ILovely hotel close to all the attractions
Food very good
We visited for a few drinks after a meal, the atmosphere is relaxed with music at a good level that you can still talk over, and a saxophonist playing along. Drinks were reasonabley priced and a good selection available.
Nice hotel room but please, windows are also cleaned! I have never seen such bad windows !!!
Top quality roast dinners. Staff are a little disorganised but friendly. Food is top notch and worth the wait though!
Great people. Beutifull building. Rooms are ok. Value for money
Really good food in the bar. Very good prices. Pleasant atmosphere and really nice staff.
Great stay , right in the centre of Liverpool
Mathew street 5 mins away, Liverpool1 8mins away, Lime Street Stn 5 mins away,Hard days night hotel 8mins away
Very friendly staff and great breakfasts
We are stopping a THE Sir Thomas next month ask me then
Went today for afternoon tea, would highly, recommend it ,fantastic friendly service and delicious food. Will definitely be going again .
Just went along here for dinner recently and it is class! Beautifully cooked food in a very nice and relaxing environment. Staff are very welcoming and professional and well presented. Top bar service, comfortable and spacious seating. Good value for money and quality. Just a pleasure to spend a couple of hours here after a hectic day.
Great hotel friendly bar staff. Great Sunday dinners. Enjoy the revamp
Ok kind of hotel for overnight stay. But Breakfast is not served until 7AM. So need to skip for people who needs to leave early in the morning before 7AM.. most of the hotels serve continental Breakfast upto 6.30 and cooked from 6.30 would be ideal choice
Poor hygiene in bathroom shower curtain was very dirty and stink the bathroom out. They took curtain away but never replaced it, which stopped us getting a shower in the morning.
This hotel I feel is over rated star wise. The room is small with a bathroom like a bedsit. Decor is dated and it shows. Would I stay here again, no. Not impressed with the cost.
The staff lie. Paid twice for 2 rooms and only stayed one night. Was told by front staff would get refunded for second night not used and then the manager refused to refund me money for 2 rooms. Don't stay here.
It's alright got a table ok good range of drinks and food clean and comfortable
This is an upscale hotel in the heart of Liverpool.
Rooms are very nice and comfortable reasonable sound insulation, but poor air conditioning, had to open the windows to get air moving.
The room we had was on the second floor and looked out on to the back street, this allowed noise from the street to enter the room.
The street life got very interesting because this was where the locale ladies of the night were doing their business.
At the end of the street there was an ambulance parked -providing needle exchange, at first the sound were a bit disturbing, but once sleep took hold they faded away.
Just stayed the one night, nice shower and towels.
breakfast was included, the area that breakfast was served was bright and clean, the breakfast was well presented and provided a good choice of cereal fresh fruits and cooked foods.
All of the staff were very nice and helpful, and gave great service.
I enjoyed the stay and would stay there again if I were in the area.
The location of the hotel is great probably the best feature but the decor is very dated. The rooms are OK, nothing spectacular but not bad either. The place has a reputation as a "party hotel" but we didn't have problem with any noise. Maybe it was a quiet weekend? We did have problems with the cleaning, it was very poor. Enough that I had to insist the redo the room. Even after that, there was still things not done ( taking out the rubbish). The breakfast was variable, on Saturday we found it just badly cooked, on Saturday is was fine.
Great food. Nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.
Fabulous location, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was small and probably needed a bit of an update, but it was very clean and had everything we needed.I think they are starting to update bedrooms. The bar and restaurant has More
Room is very disappointing. Only worth half of what I actually paid. Travel Lodge quality with Hilton price.
I've been there twice during International Beatle Week. Is in very Good situation, close to The Cavern, not far from Adelphi Hotel, where is possible to enjoy a lot of concerts. In the city center, which allows to walk in there. And a lot of places to eat and drink.
What a great breakfast, very much enjoyed my visit with my son
Been in Liverpool many times in the last decade and the first hotel I try to book is the Sir Thomas Hotel for the following reasons:
1. Very clean environment
2. Very safe and well maintained
3. Breakfast is excellent
4. Staff is well trained and very helpful
5. Location is near to the city centre
What else can I say worth every penny and I feel like home.
Congratulations to the Owner and Management Top notch
Stayed here tuesday till yesterday .a nice hotel .staff very helpfull nothing to much trouble .Rooms Spotless .comfy bed .Great Breakfast with good selection.you can get snacks in the bar .lift to floors and restraraunt .close to city centre .
good food. nice service. rooms ok

Not the best. Cobwebs 8n room. Mouldy smell in bathroom
My group went to the Sir Thomas yesterday for an early Christmas Lunch, I can describe it in one word fabulous. Food, service and ambience, easy to get to from the city, or as we were coming from all over i.e. The Wirral, Manchester and Lancashire. Thank you.
Booked afternoon tea highly dissapointed was served warm tea .three finger sandwiches was served bread was stale.waiter did replace them with more stale bread .scones were flat.we asked for the bill they tried to charge us for extra pot of tea plus 15 as they was saying we was day late not true we paid 10 pound each deposit but they wanted to charge us again after disputing it for over half hour and speaking to two different waiters they made us feel awful like we was lying would never gi back here not even if was free
Friendly staff and great service with a good selection of drinks and pleasant atmosphere
Very nice Staff and a very central hotel to the main atractions. Would book again

Very beautiful staff could not be more helpful
Will stay again.
I organised a Cocktail masterclass for a group of Girls to celebrate our friends 40th yesterday. The booking process beforehand was made very easy. All the staff at the Hotel were very attentive and our assigned Bartender Michael was great - wasn't phased at all my a group of drunk mums ! Mid way through we were served some lovely hot bar snacks - delicious ! The masterclass was great value for money and lots of fun. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion, Thanks !
Wow wow wow! We stopped here for lunch. The young lady showed us to our table. She was really lovely and spent time chatting to us. She was asking usall about our weekend. Food was delicious. The waiter who was a gentleman he was also very pleasant with a lovely smile. We are planning to go back for dinner next time. Food was fantastic.
Only went in the bar for a drink.but the staff wher so polite and frendley
The place is clean and up to date a bit experience but Worth a visit
Best hotel in Liverpool very friendly staff good breakfast
Lovely food, nice staff, nice decor, would definitely recommend for food
Great little place to stay cheap if you book early. Very close to center and about two blocks from cavern. Plenty of testers near by and pubs.
I make sure I come back thanks to all the staff good service and lovely people in the heart of Liverpool
So dirty stayed here was very bad experience rooms are dirty and tired and what a waste of money couldn't wait to leave never again this place has gone downhill big time. The sir Thomas whatever yous are doing presently is not the answer read your negative reviews paint the rooms clean them replace broken furniture fixtures and fitting I. E clean the carpet. Dust every now and again it helpssss.... Avoid. Actually ruined my trip to Liverpool. Wouldn't be surprised if this place got nominated for the worst hotel in Liverpool.
Great little Hotel situated in the heart of the city center. Competitive room prices. Disabled access rooms available along with twin, double and triple bedroom options. The Bar and Restaurant has recently had a refurb and looks amazing, along with this, a new food menu has been launched, as well as a new range of wines and spirits. This is a lovely place to stay when visiting Liverpool, the staff are friendly, very helpful and always ready to assist any needs.
Stayed here last weekend on a stags top qualify service had a great stay and thanks to Paul and the girl on the desk checking us in and asking us all weekend was everything ok and the chap on the door on the Sunday stood there opening the door for people arriving for dinner all day.i was a bit worse for wear on the Sunday and was well looked after thanks a mil
Very disappointed with the hotel .rooms are very tired beds are harder than the floor and I think the vacuum cleaner must have broken as there was cob webs everywhere I'm glad I didn't pay full price I would have been asking for some money back
It is in the center of Liverpool and the rooms although not very large are comfortable and the staff also very nice
We went for the santa meal and we're extremely impressed
Going next year now
It was around the corner from breakout Liverpool, perfect for a quick drink.
Really nice hotel, not too expensive and good staff.
bad food or no food at all in evenings befrolns out dated windows falling apart hotels in frames
Food was poor, undercooked. Staff could not understand English? Seriously!! Will never go back.
Loved my stay at this marvellous historical hotel, the bathroom is top notch with the biggest shower ever, the room was tastefully decorated and very clean, the breakfast room service was quick and very tasty, bar fully stocked with delicious cocktails, I will be going back very soon for a weekend break
Very comfortable and excellent attention. I recommend 100 o / o
Good service in a convenient location. Stayed through employer so can't comment on cost
On 3rd floor elevator stopped working last night and still not working 12 hrs later. Noisy outside from gabage truck and fire alarm went off from a toaster ?? Would not recommend, breakfast ended early.
Stayed at the hotel last weekend for a wedding in Liverpool, staff friendly and accommodating, nice bedroom and very good breakfast
Room was rather noisy and a bit drafty. No breakfast currently due to revamp but a lot of potential. Pillows were well used and a little thin but bed very comfy and shower was powerful.
The whole hotel is under construction without anyone saying it to us. You can feel the iron springs in the bed. And the bathroom door is broken and the bathroom in general is just outdated. And that all for a 143 a night. My conclusion is a 1 star hotel for a stupid amount of money.
No fault of hotel but we were kept awake until 2am all three nights of stay by a nightclub in cumberland st which is right next to part of hotel. The music blared out and its customers were very very loud outside and even louder leaving. Hotel complained to club manager but it appears he did not care.
Not only did the room look stale, but most of the staffs attitude was appalling. Treating other young staff like they didn t have a care in the world. I myself don t recommend staying here as also the hotel itself looks nothing like their instagram pictures which I thinks quite embarrassing.
Booked in for a party night with a 3 course meal, tribute act and a disco, the food was excellent for this kind of thing, the tribute was really just a singer although very good, the "stage" was an area between the stairs and the bar and the "dance floor" a small area right in front of the bar. Stop trying to do everything and concentrate on what you are good at
Perfect location but room not too much height. Room not perfect with a little dirty windows and smell of smoke. Breakfast plentiful but average quality. Molro convenient nearby parking.
Enjoyed an afternoon tea event for a baby shower. The staff worked very hard and couldn't help enough. The tea kept flowing and the cakes scones and sandwiches were were fabulous. Well done. X
