I am providing a 2 out of 5 rating for a completely different reason. No complaints on the efficiency and level of customer service provided. The procedures for which I was present in the embassy were done quickly and I was on my way back home within a short time. However, I noticed a lack of wheelchair ramps/access to support older people and people with disabilities. It was heart wrenching to see such people having a very hard time navigating the stairs to the embassy. Hope the High Commission of India would take this issue up and construct a wheelchair ramp/walkway in order to make it more accessible to people in all walks of life. Thank you.
Service was good. Officers could have been more friendly
Bad approach with NRI people during the pandemic situation
Everything redirected to BLS agent
Poor service
Very poor customer service.
Not clear with instructions.
No atm services in year 2021.
Very back dated procedues.
No kisok admin to guide.
Staff are super friendly but as you know it's organized chaos just like what you use to see back home. Keep up the great work embassy staff, What need to be fixed is process that smoothens the experience. Xerox machine one broken - Have all the Photocopies before you go there.
Staff are quite rude ! Even though there is token system it is not properly implemented. Although all my documents and photos copies were in order they gave me a run around and finally the senior officer told its fine and they processed it. They asked for exact change. Please carry photocopies and exact change ( Funny they only take cash in these days of electronic payments)
Visited on India's 73rd independence day. Post flag hoisting, a cultural performances by young Indian origin children.
Tried to reach the embassy during working hours (called thrice), nobody picked up the phone. Dropped message on the emergency WhatsApp number as stated on the website, till date not received any reply. You d think the embassy in Singapore would be helpful for Indians, especially amidst this pandemic and travel restrictions. But apparently, not.
Consular services has only one counter and It takes much more time to process for one person application. I will be better, if has more counters and one person to verify documents and guide applicant's prior to goto their counters.
