This place is great! The fillet mignon is so good and the encrusted halibut is amazing! They also have the best "Old Fashioned" in town. This place has a great, old town Alaskan ambiance and the views are the best is town. I visit every time I am in Anchorage.

Indeed nice views from the restaurant. But the food it a bit over rated. There's so much more you can do with the amazing ingredients Alaska has to offer than pan fry and dunk in cheese and butter. Food and wine selection is boring but service was good.

The food was excellent and yummy. And they have the best hot chocolate you can ever try. Good is. It not very expensive.

Great service. Food was on point. I had an awesome table, but unfortunately it was dark. I'm sure the view was killer too.

The service is great, there food is amazing, and the view is spectacular! Sure it's a little pricey but everything in Alaska is and you get what you pay for. One recommendation would be the halibut cheeks.

Pricey and worth it! Excellent food and service. And a perfect dirty Martini (and that's saying a lot, as I find so many places that just can't make a decent one). From the appetizers to the entrees to dessert....it was wonderful. Plus a view!

Glad that I followed my Venezuelan/Alaskan friend, Uber driver, and the waitress s (Amber) recommendation about the Halibut Cheeks. The latter also suggested I should have the combination: Asiago Halibut cheeks and Macadamia crab stuffed halibut. Both are really good. The cheeks have a different texture, more like chicken. The crab stuffed has a sublime taste, definitively my favorite. The side dish was home made mashed potato and green beans, they matched just perfectly. I juiced all this with a Denali Rotating Handle (Local Stout). Almost forgot the excellent bread and butter. Staff attention was unparalleled.

This place was terrific, there was only one problem. The proportions weren't very big.

Happy Father's Day to my dad. He enjoyed his dinner and dessert. We had a great time and great service.

Good food but the service was slow - it was Easter brunch so I assume it's not usually like that.

Still has a solid night-vibe after all these years. We've been going here since the late eighties. Best French onion soup in Anchorage and happy wife's short rib papperdelle was especially good tonight. Booze is a bit pricey and the wine pours a tad stingy, but overall thumbs up.

Call and make a reservation folks, they get busy here... as well every thing that'll come on your plate is the way it should be.
The establishment could use a little TLC, was weird odor of urine but eh, it was a small thing not worthy of knocking a star in comparison to other factors. Am residing out of state, if in AK I'd definitely make another stop here!

One star for the appetizer. No stars for the $44 steak they could not cook right. I asked for no color well done NY cut. (Butterfly it if they want). Watching the tattoo armed boy struggling with cooking what I ordered was not so nice to see. Even the manager offered me soup. SOUP, SOUP, SOUP I don t think so missus. Steak costs $44. The second time my steak was brought the manager stated if I see red, I ll yell at the him . So I checked my first opened cut and it was good so I cut into the other side and opened it up to red meat again so the manager (without a word) grabbed the plate and returned it. Again $44 for the steak. Also why is everybody getting mashed potatoes and green beans with dinner. No other choices. Fish, steak, chicken, and salad meals all served with mash and beans. Maybe think about other colors.

The BEST King Crab legs I have ever eaten. Timing is everything. Fresh crab legs.

Even though the dining area was full, we're able to be accommodated in the bar area, with plenty of seating....had the halibut cheek picata....amazing, stuffed!...
Oh, and drinks were top notch

Very good, went for lunch and had Cajun Fettuccine with reindeer sausage, hubby had a burger. All delicious, fresh and quick! Service was good, we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic food and drinks with great ambience. We went in for appetizers and drinks and would defintely go back again! Some seating has some great ocean views however the overall charm of the place is great regardless of seating. This place is great for locals and visitors.
