I'm not really sure why this place has so many really bad reviews, I mean they are just doing their job. They actually offer really good deals off of what you owe to settle your debts. My only compliant is the website is so glitchy, it constantly freezes and it hard to even make a payment plan because of it.

Seriously biggest scam ever. You call me leaving a generic message didn t even state who you wanted. If it was for real you would know and mention name of person you are looking for. Try someone else. I don t fall victims to these scams or just tact it too my credit report of you really know me. Lol

This place is a scam company. They told me I was in collections with my student loan. So, I called my student loan company and they said I was in good standing and had not been sent to collections. Do not answer their calls and do not give them any information!
Edit: Despite their response, I called, over and over, and never got anyone. Most definitely a scam
They have been calling me every day for at least 2 weeks now. No one ever left me a voicemail and when I picked up no one answered and the call would drop after 5 seconds. Finally called the number back just to find out who they are. Definitely spam, blocking this number for sure.
Got a voicemail that they were trying to collect a debt. I know all of my bills, and nothing should be in collections. When I called they would not tell me who or what bill they were trying to collect for and kept asking for personal information. I told them to correspond by mail and hung up.
I keep getting calls about a debt I owe, so I called them back. The lady seemed defensive at first, which drew up a red flag. I called the actual company to verify, as I do not owe anything to anyone. I am always on time. I checked my account and the account she is referencing to is paid in full over a year ago. The original company assured me I do not owe anything and I was not sent to collections at anytime, nor do they do business with this "collection agency". The Rep advised I am being scammed. This is getting ridiculous and needs to stop. I will be contacting my attorney and making him aware of the false claims and this company using my information to try and scam me out of money,
No one is going to LIKE debt collectors. Of course they want their money.. I m actually glad they had a website that I could easily choose my payment terms and set up auto pay. HOWEVER... after making an automatic payment term for one of my account, my payment card got declined (I try to keep money in my savings and totally forgot when they were gonna take it), ever since then it will NOT let me redo payment terms and make a payment arrangement on their site for that account. And I will add that the other account payment was declined 2 or 3 times over the course of me paying it off and I never had the issue I m having now with my second account. I was always able to go back, choose a term length/payment option and redo automatic payments easily. I ve contacted their company about the glitch on the site for that account several times over the course of a couple months. All I get back are generic replies, one even told me to log in! (I was already duh!). One told me to try logging in through phone Authentication, it let me but would not let me pay. Told me I had to log in to my account by email since I had an account already, done that and it still won t let me pay!!! All it does is have a loading circle on the site until it times out and logs me out. I ve even sent them pictures and a video of it doing that. They still won t get anyone to fix my account. But hey! They were okay with me sending my debit card info through email which I rejected (I offered it but then decided not to have they were so eager for me to send it that way). I do not like talking on the phone , especially to debt collectors. That s why I liked the simplicity of the website! I also cannot hear very good on my phone.
Please get someone to look at my account!! I only owe like $60!
SCAM SCAM SCAM! Be careful with these snakes. They even tell the reps to tell the people they are calling to Google this buisness. Why would anyone take a 2 star call center as creditable. Please be careful guys as any sort of collection for school debt is protected until January 22 2022. They literally called my phone 10 times in a 2 minute time frame. Please Block their numbers and do not give ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!
ALSO... I noticed they respond to the honest reviews about their scam of a buisness stating their legal position as a bill collector. I sincerely advise this is not that review to do so. In all buisness your name speaks for itself! And this company is below subpar including all of their employees whom contribute to trying to scam money from ppl.
This is in response to whom ever thought it was professional on any level to defend this beyond reputable business. Please educate yourself as you should be aware that not only is this company Fraudulent there is public record to provide evidence. Do better when choosing those whom you are trying to take advantage of. May your buisness and employees continue to fail at the Fraudulent tasks that you have decided to make your life's work :)
Received collections notice from SIMM Associates in error. Resolved error with original billing company politely and professionally and confirmed a zero balance. They went further to say they would notify SIMM not to proceed with collections. Within three hours SIMM called and claimed I still owed them money - regardless of what the original billing company said. They proceeded to talk over me and demonstrated an absolute refusal to listen to anything I had to say. Overall an incredibly rude and unprofessional experience. One star is too good for these people!
