Silversmith is a local Niagara favourite. It is a LGBTQ friendly venue that produces some of the best craft brews in Ontario's golden horseshoe region. If it's your first time I recommend trying their 'Black Lager' or 'Dam Buster', but don't forget to ask about what just got put on tap because they are always brewing something new. Flights are available, just ask. The food is gastro-pub fare with a delicious selection of options from original sandwiches to tasty wings and a bison chilli. If you are looking to pair a good brew with your meal just as the server. If they don't know, they'll find out. Bottles and growlers are available for take-away. Definitely a good place to visit if you are in the Niagara region.

I loved everything about this place. The beer, the vibe, the food......ah the food! Who would have thought a microbrewery could serve up such elevated, quality classics? The wings, the lobster sandwich, the Welsh rarebit - everything we tried was well prepared, fresh, and delicious. We enjoyed the food so much we went back the next day during our weekend visit.

Really liked the space, and the live music was very good. There was a decent selection between the taps and the bottle shop, and we had great service at the bar. I recommend a pit stop if you're passing by!

15 ladies showed up on the silversmith doorstep on a Saturday afternoon looking to sample some beer as part of a double bachelorette party. Silversmith staff informed us they were at capacity in the bar but asked us to hold on. Within 5 minutes they had set up an organized tour and tasting in the brewery part of the facility, figured out VERY reasonable pricing for samples for the group, and hooked us up with SAM who led/entertained our group. He was super charismatic, knowledgeable, relatable and energetic. It was a GREAT stop on or tour of Niagara! The beers were all delicious - the dark one was a crowd favourite! The food also looked and smelled amazing so I m heading back ASAP.

Great place! Each had a flight of beers plus two of the "special" brews. Really good and nothing off the wall. Just good beer. Bought some for home and then went on our way to other stops around Niagara-on-the-Lake... totally worth the time!!!

What a little gem. This brewery has great beer and the food was awesome. Inside was well done transformed from an old church. We had the Haggard and Jalapeno cheese chicken sandwiches along with the pretzel. The homemade mustard should be bottled asap! Neal was great in explaining the different beers on tap and answering all the questions we had. Can't wait to visit again.

Great beer, except, my favourite, Black Lager, not available in cans. Been there twice in last month and still not able to buy. The bigger bottles don't suit me, too much to drink at once. Get the cans please and I'll give 5 stars. Oh, and the new entrance needs some type of railing, for safety and Winter is Coming.

Went there specifically to try the food as a result of the write up in the local paper. Husband ordered wings which were tiny, undercooked skin and lacking flavour. I ordered the poke. I have had poke all over North America and beyond. It was the most boring and bland I have ever had, squeezing a lime on it would have made it a bit better. Heard the guy at the next table comment that the wings had no flavour and I don't believe he even finished them. Service was not great, they forgot my husbands beer and was slow to start. We are locals and I would try it again in a month or two and hopefully the food will be better. I was expecting better and was sadly disappointed.

Best beer in Niagara! They consistently produce amazing quality beer that is never less than great tasting. They truly care about the local community, which is clear through the way they treat you the moment you step through the door. The staff is great, especially Lauren who even gives my kids stuff to colour with when they tag along for a growler fill! Even they look forward to going there! Truly a must-go to place in Niagara (especially on Thursdays with $5 pints!)

This place is amazing! Amazing craft beer. I wish i had caught the bartenders name as he was amazing. He gave us a lot of insight about the area. I loved going here away from all the tourist traps. Beautiful country ride. A lot of winery's out this way also.

I've been to Silversmith twice, as a second choice... each time I have been so pleased that I ended up there! The tiny kitchen puts out food that is just right, and the beer is superb, I highly recommend the Minds IPA (not as citrus as you might think from the description) and "The Bandit" smoked Oktoberfest. Go to the Church and enjoy the sermon.

Such a gem of a brewery. Michael was the person who served us, and what a helpful and amazing person he is. Very knowledgeable of the food, beer, and area - and extremely friendly. We had a few of the different beers, all of which were amazing. All the food sounded delicious, but we had the goat cheese and ricotta dip, the Almenian string cheese, and a butter tart. Oh man, everything was SO delicious. Fair warning, the string cheese is very salty by nature, but it is such a unique and delicious flavor that pairs perfectly to their flagship Black Lager. Give this beautiful place a shot, you wont regret it.

Was a great place to bring the kids after football practice. Great bartenders. Avoid the turkey dinner. Try the Greek salad it's a must have! You'd be lucky if you got to meet the 2 owners, Silver and Smithy. 10 out of 5 would recommend.

Beautiful. Just had lunch. Limited menu but done brilliant. Craft beers more than worth a try. Black Lager is amazing. Steak sandwich so tender and complex. All the hidden flavours that explode on your palate are worth the try. Fresh Celtic knot bread, buttered. Between a soda and pretzel bread and warm. I live in Niagara and this is a quite spot, great wooden/church atmosphere. It looks like it belongs in a movie. This place is definitely on my secret date night/bring the adult family down to tour. We need more spots like this one. Thank you guys. You brighten my day.

I m not a huge fan of craft beer but the food was DELISH. Highly recommend the chicken although the fish was good as well! I enjoyed their lighter beers and my brother (who loves craft beer) enjoyed all of them very much! Our waitress was nice and service was great.

Rudest customer service experience I've ever had. Order returned wrong 3 times. Didn't care for corrections insisted by whole group. If you share food in a group there will be an extra charge to the whole group without forewarning.

The staff are awesome, and the food is great! Obviously, its a brewery, so order a beer when you come. I really like the black lager (i forget the name)- it has serious notes of coffee and really hits the spot.
My only thing would be, i wish there were some vegan options on the menu. Everything we had was amazing though, and our server was super attentive. This was our second time here, but our first time ordering food. Will def be back.

Went here a few times over the course of the long weekend - sometimes for a purchase and another for dinner.

This place has a great vibe and atmosphere - great job converting a church into a brewery.

Their beer is quite good too, with a wide variety of styles available. On the takeaway side, more selection in cans would be nice, but I can see how they might be tight in space for a canning line.

Their food is very good as well, but be warned that most everything is quite salty. After a while it became a bit much for me.

I d happily return here next time I m in NOTL!

Food was great, staff was friendly and wearing masks, you could see the care they took cleaning tables between seatings, menu was a sheet of paper that got tossed when we left. Will definitely return.

It's a very awesome little restaurant! The food is so awesome and the beer selection is excellent. I had the duck burger and it did not disappoint my taste buds. It was incredibly tasty and the flavour is just perfect! The bulgogi nachos is also amazing. I also had the summer shandy with breakfast wheat beer which was fantastic creation. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to everybody. And if I would be close by, I will surely come back.

Great atmosphere and terrific concept using an old church. This place has both old and new feel. I had a cider and the others in my group had a variety of beers. We stayed over an hour having relaxed conversation. Definitely would go back.

Amazing place with great beer! A must visit in Niagara Falls! Update: This is one of the nicest breweries I have ever been to and I still haven't found a beer as good as their Black Lager. I need to know if they will ship it to the US or stock it at a local shop here. It's sensational! They appeared to be building on when we visited and I will definitely be going back to see the uodates. I will also try the food next visit!

Very quaint brewery with the addition of another company's food.

The idea of taking an old church and turning it into a brewery is such a great idea. Very clever use of what was in the church, with a mix of brewery-styled add ons. I adored the stained glass still in great condition as well as the extremely long church pew. The owners were very respectful to the history of the building and its use.

The beers were great. We tried the Born Again Lager as well as the Breakfast Wheat. The Breakfast Wheat has a sort of orange taste to it which was very unique and pleasant. The Born Again Lager seemed more smooth, which was enjoyable.

The food, although it looked good really left something to the imagination. However, the food is not the Brewery's and therefore I don't believe it should go against them. Oddbird supplies the food. They have a high reputation, but I really felt that each item I ate was just missing something.

The brewery looks to be expanding (based on the construction outside). I'm looking forward to coming here again - primarily for beer. I'd like to try some of Oddbird's other foods as perhaps they have something with a bit more flavour that would be more memorable.

Silversmith Brewery Great place to relax. I take guests for tastings there. From white oaks resort and spa. I'm going to have to take the time to try it myself one day.
I ask them how they like it just for the feed back they love the atmosphere. Which I tell them is great. .keep up the good work. .

Can't beat this place with a stick. Vacation always factors into these tours, and not having to worry about e-mail and phone calls made this place even more enjoyable. Went with a flight of The Black Lager, Mind's IPA, Dam Buster, Hill 145 Golden Ale & Bavarian Breakfast Wheat, all of which were tasty. My go-to would be the Mind's IPA because I'm a 54-year-old hipster, minus the flannel shirt. Truly affordable, 4 flights, 3 lunches, 1 Mind's IPA bottle plus tip were less than &60.00 USA.
