If you re thinking about staying here, just do it!...

If you re thinking about staying here, just do it! Amazing resort. I didn t come here for golfing purposes like many others do, but I came to enjoy the vines of Napa Valley. Stanley, at the front desk, is AMAZING! Silverado needs to do anything possible to keep him around. He helped with about every single issue that we had and totally made our experience better. We stayed in the one bedroom mansion suite and genuinely cannot complain about anything. It had a front yard patio and a backyard patio so one can enjoy the breeze with minimal to maximum privacy. The Grill was somewhat lackluster. Definitely not my favorite hotel restaurant I have ever been to. The food and service weren t the best but was not terrible. The resort of HUGE. The fitness center/spa is sort of in a realm of its own and practically needs a golf cart to get there unless you like walking over a mile or two in 90 degree heat. All in all, when I come back (notice how I did not say IF I came back!), I will definitely be looking forward to it.

Woke up with ants all over me. On my chest, in my hair. They were in one of the other rooms we had too. Eye make up on the pillows. (We were all guys visiting for golf) The people working acted like they didn't believe us, came and checked and then they were visibly grossed out. They moved us to what felt like a downgraded room. Terrible experience. If management sees this, please contact me as I would like a refund.

Beautiful resort and spa, the grounds are gorgeous and serene and the restaurant food is excellent. They also have a market with more excellent food, wine, Starbucks, and outstanding bakery goods baked on the premises The rooms are very basic and they nickel and dime you to death on the resort fees and other 'charges'. The golf course and country bridges and away from it all feel make this a worthwhile visit.

Let me start off with the resort is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular and the ambiance great. However, the views aren t everything. The food was below average. The wife and I ate there a fair amount in our stay and had to go outside the resort after each meal. More importantly, while the rooms are very clean, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The walls between the rooms are paper thin. I could hear the adjacent rooms conversation.

1. Was charged for an extra night ($445) even though cancelled well before 24 hours
2. My wife and I were on a short anniversary vacation and were awakened at 7:40am by loud leaf blowing and cutting.
3. Rooms got super hot and stuffy.
4. Room was awash in light all night long despite pulling shades given all the outside building lights.
5. Pretty resort and good spa services.
