After many weekends in Napa Valley and Sonoma I have experienced one of the most beautiful experiences. This winery offers more than a wine experience. It is a inspiration. Winery built under the LEED regulation. Using solar energy, recycled materials, plus and incredible sunset, view, environment, architecture, design. If you are looking for some peace, relax, and good taste this is the place you want to come. Also the winery has an incredible meeting place, outdoor spaces. Everything with respect for nature.

We loved Silver Oak! We are big fans of Cabernet Sauvignon and love their wines. My husband and I were able to walk in for a tasting since there were only two of us but as with any winery check the website to see if you need a reservation. It was great to taste the same Cab from different years and two different valleys and decide which was better for our palate. And Silver Oak was the only winery that provided souvenir glasses. Would definitely recommend!

Moms need wine. I ended up with my 18 month old daughter on a Napa trip. This was by far one of the best places to take a toddler who is learning to RUN and SCREAM and jump and many other exciting things. The wine is always top shelf and the people were fantastic. Many people to play with. Would go back.

Natalie and the staff were fantastic she took care of us more than we could ever imagine it's our honeymoon and it was amazing the service that she gave us. Thank you so much Natalie you really made our day. And your Napa Cab is amazing!

We visited Silver Oak yesterday from Italy along with other wine makers, including Opus one, but all three of us where the most impressed by Silver Oak.

It is by far the most friendly and worth visit to do. If I had time to do one visit only I would choose this company. They were extremely nice and for 30 dollar you get to try 3 amazing cabs.

If you go there you gotta get your hands on the Napa 2008 it s AMAZING!

One of the best vineyards I visited throughout my trip. Judy was such an amazing tour guide, very personable, knowledgable, and so friendly- we loved her! Highly recommended and will be back!

A beautiful winery that is highly rated because their cabernets are very good. They have a tasting with a flight of three for $30 which includes the glass. The cabs are rich and dark, smooth, and bold. If you like red wine, you'll like these wines. The grounds are beautiful. They have a nice courtyard where you can sit under some shade and enjoy the view of the vineyard. They were selling flatbread pizzas cooked in a wood fire oven which looked good and were reported as such by other patrons. The wine is very pricey...$100 per bottle so be prepared. The tasting room is a medium size and they let you taste at your own pace. It can get crowded so best to go early. They have a few gifts like bottle openers, coasters, towels, and such.

Three others and myself went to this beautiful iconic winery that started our trek across wine country. This winery keeps it's family traditions as well as buying their wood in America which was a great surprise to us. Highly recommend. Our tour guide was intimate and knowledgeable. Great first experience.

So and so

So and so
Server was not helpful and a bit pushy, their Cabernet wine is pretty good and the place is neat. Bottles seemed a bit overpriced with $75 starting price

Silver Oak Cellars is our favorite winery in all Napa Valley. From the service to how beautiful is the whole winery is, you feel like home. We did the 3pm public tour and it was so fun. We learned a lot about Silver Oak, from how they started and how they created their name, to each step of how they make they wine until release date. We can t wait to come back to Napa and visit Silver Oak again. Also our most favorite Cabernet Sauvignon from all the cabs we tried. We really recommend this winery in your trip to Napa. We loved that they keep serving you that delicious Napa Cab through the whole tour.

Silver Oak is always a stop for reds. Tasting room is a nice size but can get crowded. Our group had to squeeze at the end of the bar but were easily accommodated. I love the staff because they will of course chat with you but if you are with a group they don't interrupt your conversations and will step in only when they see you are ready for the next pour. Never feel rushed and/or pressured to buy. Some wineries really push a sale or their "wine clubs" but not here.

Cool place. Did the wine tour, I liked the building and explanation of the process of it all... this was the first wine tour I did and after doing two others, I like how Flowers winery did food pairings with the wine. Something to think about Silver Oak??? . Anyways, wine was good, thank you.

Tour was first class. Service since has been worst class. Order still floating in thin air even though they charged our card nearly 4 months ago and I can't get a live body or a phone call back. Won't ever return....

Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Particularly from one lady surnamed "Chase" When asked about the wines got told to "read the catalogue" . Also got accused of re-selling wines on the spot and poor attitude. Very disappointed for such a high tier winery especially considering we were genuinely in their wines. Man named Bob was much better.

What a relief! We came from a really disappointing visit to Cakebread and were lucky enough to walk up to Tom Walsh's tasting table. We lamented about our disapointment in the last winery and Tom went to work making us feel better. It was a little loud in the tasting room so Tom took us on a little walk to a quieter part of the winery to show us the work they were doing with the recent harvest. Tom was warm, welcoming and a real expert on the wines and process.

We LOVE Silver Oak. We left with a few hundred bucks of wine and it was so worth it! We will be back every time we come to Napa!

Arrived at Silver Oak today with 6 girlfriends, looking forward to a tasting and purchasing some bottles of wine to take home. We were told because of the size of our party we would have to take a tour, pay $50 per person, as tastings were only available for smaller parties. Seeing the tasting area had plenty of room at the bar, we asked what if we were two parties of 3 and 4 or three parties of 2 or 3. Felicia said nice try! Well Felicia, our driver took us to Stags Leap, where we had a fabulous time, treated so well, and left with some wonderful wine and great memories. Guess Silver Oak is resting on their laurels. So arrogant.

Very nice tasting and tour. One of the better places to go taste that is big and name known. Some places don't have the personalized feel but we scheduled the nicest tour they had and they did not disappoint. Everything was nice and some of the wine the let us taste was fantastic. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable about the wine and area. Would go back again not over commercialized. The gift shop area is nice area and they have some really nice items available for purchase in addition to the wine. We will go back.

Had Silver Oak wines before the visit, but made a reservation for a vertical tasting to further our understanding of Napa Valley wines. It was very revealing and if you had told me all 6 wines were from different makers, I would have believed you. I highly recommend the experience. Host was great and the group we were with was very fun.

My wife and I took their main tour and had an incredible time. Our host made the tour both fun and interesting and always made it a point to refill your glass before it was empty. The grounds are beautiful and the building has an interesting history. They only produce one style but they definitely do it well. Bottles are pricey but the tour is reasonably priced for how much you experience and drink!

Our wine tasting unfortunately had to be rushed (our fault, not theirs) so we didn't get the full experience but it was great none the less.

Our host was extremely knowledgeable and excitedly talked to us about going for his 3rd level sommelier. We got to taste a few ripe grapes off the vine which was a nice treat.

The second worst tasting I ve ever had in Napa Valley (and I ve had a lot). Second only to Castello di Amarosa; and the fact I thought about if this experience was worse is scary. This is not a critique of their wines which are good, only visiting the property for a tasting. We were out into what felt like a circus tent on a beautiful sunny day that we couldn t enjoy and was given all Non Napa Valley wines. When asked for Napa fruit for my wife and I the terrible server brought out one glass to share and made it seem like she had just given us the cure to old age. If you are in Napa there are several better options.

I had a business meeting in Napa this week and brought my team here as a little team building outing on Tuesday. Myself and a couple others on my team had to take a scheduled call, so immediately after paying we went to an empty room for our call. While we were on our call, the rest of my team was doing the wine tasting and tour. By the time our call was over, the tour and tasting was over. We made the comment that we didn't really get anything we paid for, specifically the tour, and the host's response was, "Well you will be back soon". We just looked at each other in shock. We had a 2nd wine tasting we were running late for, so we left.

Our experience with the host, and those who actually went through the tasting and tour with her, was horrible. In the 5 minutes we spent with her, she twice said that this wasn't her real job. Her real job is selling real estate. Those who were with her the whole time commented that she'd made the same comment at least a few times to them.

Someone at the front said it was $30 for just the tasting, and $50 if you include the tour. Those of us who missed the tour thought we'd be refunded $20. The host made no mention of it when we asked. As I said, were running late for our next tasting, and we didn't want to hold everyone up.
