Since insurance will only use these people and they keep changing their office staff, I've beastly been forced off of my medications several times including antidepressants and anxiety meds. Now they get angry that I'm up here with copies of my scripts and I'm being extra autistic without my meds.
I love the Dr and the therapist I found there! The rest of the staff though keep listening part of the problems and not being a part of the solution. I catch them changing their stories and endangering me if I don't fight for myself. The front staff isn't on your team.

I found them to be caring and helpful people! I called for information and they went way beyond what I expected to help me. I had to write a review after this since we tend to be quick to write a complaint but not a thank you note.
Every staff member and counselor that we have been in contact with have been beyond helpful and caring. They are not only supportive to the client, but also the families.
If you are searching for a place that offers intensive mental health treatment for your adolescent and you are not as concerned with substance abuse, this is NOT the place for you!!! They will tell you that it is the right fit but your child will soon realize that they are in the wrong setting!!! I was looking for an intensive outpatient program and was willing to travel the 1.5 hours to come as often as needed! (There is no adolescent program available in the Triad) They said they would provide individual, family and group therapy. I asked if they had any sort of pamphlet or printout explaining the program as well as schedule and it was made clear that they offer no documentation whatsoever. This caused a lot of miscommunication/misunderstanding and disorganization!! When my daughter was upset about being in a substance abuse program, the director said she did not have to attend group. WHY would I drive 3 hours round trip to receive individual and family therapy?!? I COULD get that locally! I did find a place and if you are searching for an intensive adolescent outpatient program, call HOPE SERVICES! It is not far from Sigma and offers so many therapeutic options! Their group meetings are to receive information and not share info between children. (Unlike the one group meeting at strategic where my daughter learned how to make a drink out of hand sanitizer!!!! Seriously?!? ) Anyway, please note that my rating is based on mental health and not substance abuse. I have no opinion either way about their SA program.
