The Trailer Court play had a lot of good moments but I was disappointed with all the f words, even a song with the name. I think the play would be of been better with out being rated R. Didn t notice it rated R until I saw the program.
Will check more closely next year to see if we just buy individual tickets instead of season.

We saw State Fair yesterday and man, it was wonderful! We are huge fans of old musical theater, especially Rogers and Hammerstein. SRT NAILED State Fair. We are in absolute awe at how the tiny stage at the Fallon House was transformed into six different scenes to accommodate the story line. The house sounded fantastic - someone has engineered a great blend on the mics (the chorus parts were particularly robust). And then there is the cast...everyone did great, but just a few individuals made the show for me. Gary Martinez IS Abel Frake - such a spot on casting decision. Jerry Lee is a real pro. Such a great voice! I'd love to see him play Judd Frye in Oklahoma. My favorite of the entire production was Taylor Simmons...watch this kid! He's going to go very far. He's got great stage presence, a wonderful voice and this kid can DANCE! Watching him made me think I was seeing a young Astaire. I'd love to see him play Marius in Les Miserables. Don't assume that Sierra Rep is your average homegrown production. This is a quality company doing great stuff!

Absolutely the greatest . We've been season ticket holders for many years and the shows are always fantastic. The production staff are the best in the business and nowhere have I seen more multitalented performers. We saw The Great American Trailer Park last night and it was fantastic. Funny and with wonderful music performed by talented cast. If you want an evening filled with a Broadway quality production, go to any of SRT's performances. You won't be disappointed.

My Fair Lady was so good I saw it twice. Broadway quality all the way around--the actors, the sets, and costumes were great. How lucky we are to have this source of entertainment in our backyard.

We are a long time subscriber of SRT and we think they are the greatest. Many year's ago we have season tickets to plays in both San Francisco and San Jose, but after while we give them up. We think it is the small theatres and the great casts and sets, that it is hard not to be pulled into the production. For many years are tickets have been in the front row center and it is hard not to get involved.

We encourage everyone to come see a production, and we bet that you will be back for more.

Small and cozy. Even though it is a smaller theater, the venue consistently provides quality of plays and musicals above its weight class. I have been to at least 5 different programs, and every time, I leave with my mouth hanging open. The quality of the people they bring in, the quality of the sets, the fact there is not a bad seat in the house make this place above the rest.

Professional level repertory theater offering 7 or...

Professional level repertory theater offering 7 or more shows a year at their home theater in East Sonora or at the historic Fallon House Theater in Columbia, a California State Historic Park. Artists come from around the country, lending a level of performance and professionalism not often seen in a small town theater. It's amazing that a small theater can continuously produce so many high quality shows year after year (this year, 2019, is their 40th anniversary year!) - but they do!

Both theaters are small - there's not a bad seat in the Sonora house but sight lines at the Fallon House can be tough for the vertically challenged!

We just saw the Buddy Holley Story there and it was fantastic! We have made the trip to Sonora one other time to spend the night and take in one of the shows at Sierra Rep. We are always amazed at the quality of the productions. We can't wait to come back for another show. I recommend them highly.
