Peaceful. I love animals and the tiger habitat was wonderful and clean with lots of balls and stimulating toys for the animals. The dolphin show was fabulous and the underwater viewing tank great. While l was there got to meet Seigfreid. He is a wonderful man taking his time to talk with people. He even gave me a magic coin to keep for good luck. A very memorable afternoon.

This exhibit is so beautiful and educational . We could watch the animals all day. I love that the dolphins are left alone to play on their own. The big cats are so beautiful to watch.
If you go there with kids, please teach them not to make noise at the animals.

Nice

My family very much enjoyed our day at the secret garden. The dolphins are great and the staff is very knowledgeable. The tigers are very beautiful!! I have to admit the highlight was seeing Siegfried. He made my day! We will be talking about our experience for a long time!

Dolphins were fun. Trainer/feeder interactions were fun to watch. 2 month old dolphin was so cute.
Big cats were magnificent but the older tiger's walk was labored - like joints were arthritic. Made me a little sad for him. Also licking the fake rocks as if he needed more salt. I hope a vet is watching over him.

We had been to las vegas previously and never saw this here so we are glad we stayed at the mirage because we got to see some beautiful animals and also see the dolphins been trained but such a lovely day. would highly recommend going here when in vegas!! we also thought it was a great price for what you get.

I gave this place a wide berth. How cruel to have these gracious animals on show for people's entertainment.
The dolphins are housed in a pool far too small.. They should be IN THE OCEAN.
Shocking that folk give this 5 stars

Great & family friendly. You can watch the dolphins play around with each other and every hour there is a 10-15 minute session with the trainers and dolphins interacting. You can also opt in to purchase a meet and greet with the dolphins which was well worth it!

Very expensive for a "zoo". I don't believe in caging animals of any kind but wanted to do something the kids would enjoy. When we left, even my children said it wasn't worth the price.

What a sad joke the description is or this place. A pool that looks like it used to me a human swimming pool so small. And No shade for the dolphins. The dolphins have a disease that seems to be getting worse. Being forced to interact with people when they are sick? No thanks.. There is NO love here for these poor dolphins suffering in the awful place in my opinion. You will feel ashamed if you walk in there and see the misery...And the tigers..really do tigers belong in a city like Las Vegas...again just greed. Time for them to start thinking about the animals here. People need to realize they are not happy 'entertaining'..

While it's neat to see dolphins and exotic animals up close, the Secret Garden is overpriced (even by Strip standards) with far too few exhibits. There is the dolphin pool and four big cat cages, that's it. It took us about twenty minutes to go through the entire thing. Unless you get a REALLY good deal on tickets, do not waste your time and money here.

The Secret Garden at The Mirage Hotel has an exciting name but imo, its misleading. The African cats are located in a semi-habitat landscape, but they don't have a lot of room. We visited late morning in September and they were all sleeping or bored. This garden is actually a small zoo with just a few cats. If you don't stop in front of each cage, you can walk through in less than 10 minutes.

The dolphin habitat is also misleading. It's a group of pools where trainers have a short presentation of 3-4 dolphins some children can pet or 2-3 dolphins jump high out of the water. This lasts no more than 15 minutes. Don't expect a Sea World style performance show. One dolphin pool has an underwater window you can see them swim which is great. The dolphins are curious of us (notice their eye movement) as they swim very close to the glass so you can get a photo as they swim by. We were told one-on-one with a dolphin is available at an extra cost. All in all you can walk through this attraction in one hour or less for adults. Add 30 minutes with children. With my comments, the entrance cost for a family is much too expensive. They don't offer senior, veteran discounts. Boo. The zoo was a big disappointment. Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef Aquarium is a better attraction as the cost is about equal but there's more to see and learn.

Was an ok place to go. Wasn't impressed with some of the enclosures. Someone really needs to be in the underwater deck, people were pounding on the windows and scaring the dolphins, so they went to the other side and we couldn't see them very well.

The dolphins, baby tigers, and other big cats are really cute. I get worried about how much space the dolphins have, it seems like a Blackfish situation.

They try to push their pictures on you, try to walk past the line. The dolphin shows do seem like an advertisement for their swim the dolphins program.

Siegfried showed up for a minute. He smelled like booze and was surrounded by people. It was surreal.

Neat place to visit. Watching the dolphins was my favorite. Walking around the gardens where the lions and tigers are Siegfried was actually there walking around talking to people. We got our picture taken with him- very nice and down to earth.

If you have kids and are looking for something to do go to this awesome exhibit hidden on mirages property! The Dolphins were a blast and tigers were exotic and fun. I would take the whole family back again!

This was really a neat experience. The dolphins pools were a bit dated. The secret garden was amazing but I've never seen animals that looked so angry and intimidating before. I felt a little uneasy by the way they continued to pace the fence.

So sad.

The only place in the world that keeps dolphins in captivity that can claim to be righteous, in my opinion. They refrigerate the water in summer, warm it in winter. They keep them engaged with stuff to do, rather than it being "shows". The staff are the dolphins' servants, rather than the other way around. The tigers are magnificent...and we met Vegas Royalty. Yes, Siegfried himself likes to meet people in the garden. He chats to each and really engages. Lovely man. Told us about how important the London Palladium had been to him and Roy in the early days and how he knew Shirley Bassey!

Really who doesn't like dolphins and lions. If you want to see some of the last remaining lions or Dolphins In Our Lifetime come here. Supposedly they'll be extinct in the next 50 to 100 years but who really knows. as far as the Dolphins and the Lions go it was really cool to see them they have sometimes shows with the dolphins where you can see them do tricks. I really doubt you can do the same tricks with the Lions though. Lol.

This is definitely worth the price. The dolphins are very well trained and act a bit like dogs - they can do tricks on command and accept treats for them too! Also the big cats they have are magnificent and left me in awe. Must visit during the day time!

Really enjoyed this. Very clean and well run. Price was reasonable. My family enjoyed the dolphin training and big cats. My 18 month old grand daughter in particular. Would definitely go again.

Amazing! If you love dolphins, this is the place to go. They literally swim right to you, also are extremely curious and interactive with you. The lions, leopards and tigers are beautiful, but really love to sleep... We could have spent the entire day here.

Lovely place in Vegas for family with small kids. You can see dolphins up close and even train them if you get special permit ahead. The small zoo and secret garden is also good visit. We spent almost 2-3 hrs here.

Beautiful and very clean. I got to paint with these beautiful animals. I love that they do not do shows but short training sessions. Alao great that there are 3 generations of dolphins here.

Second time going, but first time taking my 9 month old. We enjoyed the dolphins. The lion is great (used to be two, but this time was only one), and the tigers were beautiful. My baby enjoyed seeing all these amazing creatures.

This is our 4th trip to the Secret Garden. Each time I am impressed. The trainers in the dolphin area are very knowledgeable. They answer all questions. The lions, tigers, and leopards are simply impressive. On occasion you can even see Siegfried or Roy here. They are engaging as well.

This is an expensive place to get into for what you get in our opinion. For a family of five it cost about $100 to get in. We absolutely love the Dolphins and liked them swimming around that was almost a surreal experience. As we walked back to the Tigers they were all asleep and hard to see. So we saw just the Dolphins basically. I mean it's probably a one-time thing that you can go to and maybe not go again for a while. The Dolphins are beautiful and the kids enjoyed them!

Siegfried greeted us at the garden, posed for pictures with my entire family, and even gave my 3-year old daughter a special gift. Thanks, Siegfried! You just made friends and admirers for life. Also, the lions, tigers, dolphins, and leopard are very, very up-close-and-personal, and were very active during our visit. Hidden Garden>Zoo (and I'm a zoo member)!
