So big. Went for the Canadian Auto show.
Wish they organized the entrance and exit better. People were walking through the entrance and getting in the way of others
Also needs more hand sanitizer locations, water stations, and better placement of signs for the Bathroom and accessibility.

MTCC usually has lots of events. I came here for the food/wine expo. It was a great experience. They have decent A/V and had a DJ! It was extremely hot in the building though. Hopefully for future events, they can get the temperature settings more ideal. In the past, I always found it to be too hot. Especially due to the large crowds and people are walking around. But I've also been here for performances, then it gets too cold; bring a jacket! Because parking downtown is always a nightmare, best bet is Uber or take the transit. There's parking directly underground though! It was 25$ during the event when I parked. This, I believe is the rate charged for special events.

Another of the best venues in Toronto. It hosts conferences and fairs, especially the Ontario University Fair every September for prosperous students who are from high school, mature students, and students with disabilities.

I was there on February 23rd, 2018 for the North American Auto Show. The environment when you first walked in was unbelievable. Everyone there was so nice and willing to help. It was my first time there so I was a little lost but found my way through with the help of other people and signs. I would differently recon recommend going there as you won't find a better place to check out cool cars and other amazing events they hold there. I will definitely be back the next chance I get. 5 stars without a doubt.

I went to the university fair held every year at the end of September. It is very crowded but worth going if you are planning on applying for universities(especially the ones in Ontario). Public Transportation is highly recommending due to the traffic and limited parking lots.

This convention centre is such a great location for large events. It s also a great place to park safely, and is walking distance to pretty much anything you want to see that signifies Toronto.

Please treat yourself to some fries at Don Juan s. Fresh cut, and twice-fried to perfection. It s worth the cheat meal! Lol!

Great big place. Perfect for conventions. Went to the fan expo there. The staff was kind and helpful. Even though the place was busy the bathrooms and general areas were always clean. I didn't like I could not take many pictures after the amount of money it cost to get in but I get it I guess.

Went to the university fair here and the fair was very helpful! Seeing all the different universities and being able to ask any questions that I had was very beneficial to me. Only kind of downside was that it was really crowded and was a bit of a hike to get to the area where the fair was

This year's Toronto Auto Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre was the best in recent years.
The organizers managed to bring in fantastic and unique products along with excellent customer service. From the easy-to-navigate printed maps to employees constantly wiping the escalators handles, this was a great event at an even greater venue.
Two points that could make this an absolutely amazing show:
1. Please have a much greater selection of food/drinks than pizza and hot dogs. An event of this class deserves a MUCH greater and better variety.
2. I'd like to see an interactive map where if you enable the GPS on your phone, you could much more easier know where you are and find quicker, where you want to go.

Most cases, I attend the Canadian International Auto Show here. It's always an entertaining time. Most manufacturers will showcase their next year models, so in this case, the 2019 models, with a few manufacturers showcasing their 2020 models. Not as many concepts as years gone by. It's always nice to see the future of where design and engineering is going.

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has always hosted the CIAS as long as I've been going, from the early 2000's.

Was there at the Canadian International Autoshow twice. I don't know what happen there other days, but definitely it's a very good place for the events like autoshow))) Oh, and I was there when Sylvester Stallone talked about how to start believing in yourself. This man had a difficult childhood but that day he was listened by thousands of people at Metro Toronto Conventional Centre. So, if there is a huge event in Toronto, it will probably take place there.

A massive convention space in the heart of downtown. Known for hosting every type of convention around, from food and wine to cars and even comics and anime. The venue is huge and offers a variety of different layouts and hosting options. It can get crowded, but the staff always manage to direct crowds efficiently.

There for a conference, the food was absolutely outstanding, incredible presentation and interesting combinations, tasty and nutritious. The facility is immense with North and South wings and multiple floors but wished they had digital boards announcing where each conference is held. Did quite a bit of exploring before finding the right location. Everything was perfectly setup for the conference with lots of room to mingle between sessions.

Spacious and well organized. Went for the University Fair when I was in Grade 11 and 12. A very fun event and even food options were good with respect to the event purpose. Unfortunately, these were pre-COVID times so I cannot assess for current times.

Great event space, seems to be well run and organized, clean, well equipped with enough friendly staff members and perfect location to be reached by car or public transport.
In places like this I pay attention to washrooms a lot and couldn t complain about it at all, every time it was clean and nice! All the public areas were clean which is super important considering how many people it accommodates.

I was there for the building show, and it was a great convention center. The building are huge and it is located right downtown Toronto by Union Station. So it is very easy to get to via public transit. There are also parking lots in the area as well. Over the years I have to been many events held at the convention center and it is always gone well. There are plenty of washrooms and easy ways to get around (escalators, elevators, and stairs). There are also lots of restaurants in the general area.

Space is huge, but the building staff is slow and often heard swearing and complaining about anything and everything they're asked to do.

Dunno if this is the union they're apart of, or the staff has gotten too lazy with their seniority.

The tech and facilities available are pretty ancient and the rooms themselves aren't very handicap accessible.

Short of volume capacity there isn't a whole lot of positives to this place.
The place is dated and because of its location it'll keep getting business till one day it doesn't.

Big. 'Nuff said. You have to walk everywhere and I'm not sure who the nimrod was who designed the escalator setup but when the only way to get from level to level is by either very busy elevators used primarily by people with handicaps or strollers, or the escalators. There in lies the problem, two going down and ONE going up. Guess which line was the longest.
Overall it's a convention centre so they tend to be big with over priced food and 5 bucks for a bottle of water!
There was a free shuttle bus to and from the north building to the south building.

I visited this location because they had an aesthetics show that weekend.

Food was expensive but we actually found a lot of satisfaction in visiting a crepes kiosk.

It was a great addition and a lifesaving moment for choice of satisfying dining.

The the event was laid out extremely well. I could find the individual presentations easily. There was so much to see and lots of interesting interactive demonstrations.

I felt the event was well worth every penny spent to attend.

Metro convention center always does a great job. This convention centre is such a great location for large events and their facilities are clean and in excellent shape, dividers and signage are attractive and helpful, employees are courteous. I love going to events here. Just wish there was better parking to fit a truck in but still i recommend this place if you have a big event.

Their underground parking is cheaper than most lots nesrby and makes it easy to get in. No need to wander around outside. Huge halls, the bridge on the upper floor makes it easy to get to other sections as well. Decent selection of restaurants nearby.

It's an amazing set up with plenty of rooms and halls for a huge get together. Parking is also huge but slightly on the expensive side.
The facility is spacious but it all depends upon the event sponsors how effectively they manage and use it. I've seen mismanaged smaller crowds and superbly managed huge crowds. It's at such a central location that commuting is very easy. Just 5 mins away from Union station. It has the CN tower and Ripleys Aquarium as its neighbors. The attached pix of CN tower on Christmas eve is taken from the main entrance of the center.

What a great venue for a huge show. I ve attended a number of events here from regular work conferences, an HR conference and now the auto show. I can t say it s ever been anything but perfect. Lots of staff to help, clean floors, clean washrooms and all expectations were met for a conference centre.

It s big, there s a lot of walking but it certainly does have everything you need to put on a show.

I had a great time here at the International Auto Show 2019. This place is huge and has two buildings which are connected by a bridge. As the place is huge, accessibility might be a problem but they have relevant signboards to help the people.

Regarding the Auto show, there were all top brands like Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Jeep, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Mazda, Subaru, Honda. There was also a super cars like the Devel Sixteen Mclaren etc., There was a conceptual beauty from Volkswagen, Mitsubishi on display.

All in all, I loved the Auto Show.

I went here for a convention once. The parking prices were really expensive, but that's normal for a city like this. Inside it's really modern and fancy. It's really easy to find your way around, too.

One of my favorite places to attend conventions at. Always kept very clean and kept up well with renovations to keep everything as modern as possible. 10 minute walk to union station. easily accessible from either building. Much better than the rest of the convention centers in this province.

Had a fantastic time at Fan Expo. Love the north building is it was always cooler than the South. Lots of room for people and easy to get from place to place. Prices were little high especially for signatures and photos and talks with the Stars. All in all had a great time and we'll go again next year

Very big place with many different halls available for use for large scale events. The halls are all very spacious and the center even takes up two buildings. It's a little hard to navigate the place though, since it's so big. It even has a large number of smaller rooms to hold small conferences

Came here for the auto show and it was amazing! Not at all a car enthusiast but it was fun learning about the different types of cars. Very accessible to all types of people and families. Bring snacks because food is ridiculously overpriced. Overall, well organized and exicting.

Metro Toronto Convention Centre (originally and st...

Metro Toronto Convention Centre (originally and still colloquially Metro Convention Centre,[1][2][3] and sometimes MTCC), is a convention complex located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada along Front Street West in the former Railway Lands in Downtown Toronto. The property is today owned by Oxford Properties. The centre is operated by the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation, an independent agency of the Government of Ontario. The centre is connected to the Union Station railway and transit station through the SkyWalk, and is also accessible via the underground PATH system. The centre is also connected by the Skywalk system to the nearby Rogers Centre and large conventions or exhibitions will sometimes also use it as an additional venue.

According to a 2018 report, over the past 34 years, the MTCC has hosted over 20,000 events and has added $6.3 billion in direct spending economic impact to the community. Direct spending economic impact is created when conference, trade and public show attendees spend on dining, hotel nights, shopping, transportation and more in Toronto. Based on the Ontario Tourism Regional Economic Impact Model (TREIM), the MTCC also sustained a record-breaking 7,622 jobs in the community in its 2017/18 fiscal year.
