When I realized Foxeer didn't provide brackets for their micro camera, I needed a reliable solution. The mounts fit perfectly and made the installation seamless. I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking for compatible accessories.

For FPV drones, the RunCam offers solid build quality and decent video output, making it a reliable compact choice. My main disappointment is the lack of photo capture capability. Shipping to France took quite a while, though, arriving after eight weeks.
If you are looking for an affordable camera from RunCam, this one delivers on that promise. It is straightforward to operate and produces good quality video. Once you get the hang of the QR code system for adjusting settings, customization is quite simple.
I’m quite fond of the camera from shop.runcam.com, despite some known issues with ribbon cables. Mine developed vertical lines because of the longer cable. RunCam promised to send a replacement long ribbon cable if I place another order. It would be great if the Wi-Fi module were integrated directly into the PCB to save space. Other than that, I have no complaints. The price is great, and I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone.
The RunCam camera runs perfectly. I recommend tweaking the settings via the app before heading out for your flight. Initially, the lens had a minor scratch upon arrival, but their support team was incredibly responsive and shipped me a replacement lens within a week.
Placing orders with the official RunCam website is straightforward, and delivery is incredibly quick. The RunCam2 and 4K cameras perform exceptionally well, making them a reliable choice for the custom tools I build for clients.
I’ve been using the RunCam from shop.runcam.com for a few months now, and the video quality is stunning. The companion app runs smoothly on my 8-inch Amazon tablet, making it easy to review footage. I chose the Orange model specifically so it would stand out on my quadcopter and be easier to spot if I ever drop it. Considering the price point, the build and performance are hard to beat. I’m even planning to use it as a dash cam. If you are on the fence, just go for it.
Picked up a RunCam camera to pair with my Aomway Commander goggles for a truly immersive widescreen experience, and it definitely delivered. There was a bit of tweaking needed with the sharpness settings right out of the box, but once dialed in, the video quality was excellent. Would highly recommend this gear to anyone looking to upgrade their FPV setup.
RunCam delivered excellent camera quality, despite the lens being internally cracked.
Installing the RunCam in my new drone was a breeze with the straightforward wiring, and the video quality is impressive right out of the box. I just tweaked the audio in post-production to get the best result.
Upgrading to the Swift 2 from the original Swift was an easy decision. While the first model was already excellent, adding flight pack voltage to the OSD makes it even more useful. If you are looking for an FPV camera, the Swift 2 is definitely the way to go.
This mount is perfect for my RunCam 2, making it ideal for FPV flights.
I’m really impressed with the video quality from RunCam. It handles backlit scenes beautifully—especially when flying directly into the sun—without blowing out the exposure or turning the footage black.
Hands down the best camera I’ve used. I previously missed out on the Runcam3, but after checking some reviews, I decided to take a chance on this model for my new FPV build. The video quality is outstanding and the latency is impressively low. It’s also great that there’s a clear visual cue on the screen indicating when it’s recording. The field of view is excellent. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable option.
For anyone looking for a reliable FPV camera, the RunCam Swift is a standout choice that has only gotten better. The updates to the voltage range, lens options, and the inclusion of a built-in microphone are fantastic enhancements. What really impresses me is how durable it is; this little camera has survived a ton of hard crashes that would likely have destroyed others. It’s hard to beat the value you get for the performance.
Great value for money from RunCam. The item arrived in France in three weeks, and with free shipping, it’s a solid deal. Works exactly as expected.
The Runcam 5 has been a fantastic addition to my RC planes and boats. Video quality is top-notch, and the QR code setup process is both reliable and user-friendly. For the price, it offers incredible value and performs exactly as advertised.
Having tried several DIY scope cams, I chose this one from shop.runcam.com primarily for its robust alloy construction, which is a step up from my previous 35mm standard model. I’m really impressed with the recording quality and, like with the RunCam 2, I found the app intuitive and easy to navigate. It feels very solid and well-built, making me confident enough to order another one soon. I also appreciate the versatility of being able to swap out batteries or power it via an external source.
I was blown away by how fast the delivery was from the official RunCam site. The package arrived in just three days, which completely surprised me since I wasn't expecting such a quick turnaround. I plan to do a proper review of the item itself tomorrow, but I'm already impressed by the speed.
Un excellent choix pour les passionnés de FPV ! La qualité d'image sur la caméra est vraiment impressionnante, tout ce dont j'avais besoin.
As a user of the RunCam shop, I found the barrel distortion correction to be a standout feature, effectively keeping the horizon level regardless of the camera's tilt. However, the electronic image stabilization wasn't as reliable; it occasionally caused artifacts or breaks in the recorded footage. On the plus side, the QR code transfer for settings is a convenient tool, especially since I rely heavily on manual mode and appreciate the quick adjustments it allows.
The image quality from this RunCam unit is fantastic. My only gripe is that I had to get a different VTX cable to work with my existing transmitter; it would be nice if they offered specific harness options to make the setup truly plug-and-play right out of the box.
The RunCam is easily my top choice for FPV builds. It works flawlessly on both my 5-inch and 3-inch frames, delivering exactly the compact performance I was hoping for in a mini camera. It’s become so reliable that I can’t imagine using anything else, aside from a minor OSD quirk when pairing it with the Swift 2.
RunCam has become my go-to for FPV upgrades. I’ve swapped out the stock cameras on all my Mini quads and my Tinyhawk Freestyle with these units. The wide field of view is perfect for indoor flights, and the video quality outdoors is impressive. The low-light performance is particularly stunning; you really notice the difference in clarity compared to standard cameras when you look away from your goggles. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to improve their video feed.
I’ve been using this RunCam for both hunting and paintball, and it’s been fantastic so far. The new hard shell case does a great job protecting the camera, even during rough woodsball games.
As a RunCam user in the paintball scene, I find this camera to be a solid piece of gear. My main grip is that getting the aim perfectly dialed in can be a bit finicky. I rely on my phone to check the framing before every match, which usually works out, but I’ve noticed the alignment tends to drift—ending up either too low on the feet or too high over the head by the end of the game. It’s likely just a matter of getting a bit more comfortable with the adjustments to nail down the perfect alignment.
For RunCam camera owners, this is an essential purchase. It makes setting up and programming the menu incredibly quick and intuitive.
Initially, I only gave this four stars because my first unit had a defective main board, but Runcam quickly replaced it and the performance has been excellent since then. While it does exhibit a bit more jello effect compared to other FPV cameras, simply soft mounting it to the frame and motors resolves the issue. Although it won’t fully replace a GoPro for cinematic shots, it is perfect for capturing HD footage on lighter, faster drones. It’s a fantastic innovation that truly advances the hobby. Highly recommended!
As a buyer from the official RunCam website, I’m thoroughly impressed with this camera. The zoom performance is outstanding, and the Wi-Fi connectivity makes positioning it exactly where I need it effortless. It’s incredibly versatile—whether I’m swapping the battery, recording while charging, using it as a dash cam, or exploring other creative applications, it handles everything smoothly. The video quality is simply top-notch. My only suggestion for improvement would be better support for larger capacity SD cards.
Buying a spare case for the RunCam camera is a smart move to save money when upgrading your quad with a second unit. The product is excellent value for the price.
I’m a big fan of RunCam and own most of their camera lineup. The Eagle Pro is genuinely impressive with its cool features. I’ll definitely be buying another one soon.
I swapped out the old PVC cables on my RunCam Swift for these silicone ones and the difference is night and day. The new wire is way more flexible and feels much more durable at the connector. Highly recommend upgrading to this cable for better longevity.
The camera from RunCam delivers sharp images with excellent detail. While the overall exposure feels a bit dark, the quality is still top-notch. Definitely a solid choice!
I’m really impressed by how compact the packaging is compared to the Night Eagle 2-pro. It delivers the same stellar night vision clarity, and in my first test, it actually seemed to edge out the older model slightly.
The camera from shop.runcam.com performs admirably, especially with X300-type flashlights. The build quality feels robust, and the image output is sharp with excellent focus. However, the field of view is limited to vertical or horizontal angles, so I would prefer more flexible positioning options. It is also worth noting that the Android app lacks image stabilization settings.
The Swift 2 delivers excellent video quality and includes a convenient battery voltage OSD. As a loyal customer with multiple RunCam devices, I’ve found them all to be highly reliable, so I’m quite satisfied. The orange color is a nice touch as well.
De case lijkt exact op de afbeelding en past perfect. De webshop van RunCam is zeker een aanrader.
I’m really enjoying the RunCam camera for its excellent image quality, but I’ve run into a bit of a snag with compatibility. The mounting cases don’t seem to have uniform specs across different frames, which makes the screw holes a bit of a hassle. It’s a great piece of gear, but a more universal mounting solution would be welcome.
Still fine-tuning the settings, but so far this is hands down one of the best cameras I’ve owned, right up there with the Micro Eagle.
For lightweight 250g or lighter frames, this camera is hard to beat for HD performance, which is crucial given current regulations in many regions. I did encounter some voltage feeding issues with 5V, so you might need an additional BEC. To keep the stack clean, I suggest using separate ESCs or a board like the Asgard rather than piling too many components. Out of the box, the FPV experience is excellent with superb low-light capabilities. While I haven’t tuned it, it might perform even better in dim conditions. Despite being CMOS, there’s no jello effect, and the raw HD footage is impressive, though YouTube’s compression can be harsh. Overall, it’s a solid choice for micro builds with 3 or 4-inch props. RunCam’s customer support is truly top-tier in the industry. I’d love to see them release a Split Micro model for under 120g 2-inch builds next!
The Runcam 2 HD remains a solid performer despite the 1080p limit. It serves excellently as an FPV camera while simultaneously recording high-definition footage. The standout feature for me is the remote control capability via the RC transmitter, making it easy to manage recording sessions or start capturing after takeoff without fumbling with buttons. It is a shame that newer models dropped this function; please bring this useful feature back to your current lineup.
Highly recommend the RunCam for anyone looking to shave weight on their builds without sacrificing image quality. The footage is crisp, and the unit is incredibly lightweight, making it a perfect fit for tight frame setups. Just be aware that the first batch of lenses had some issues. Also, a big shout-out to Clair for being so helpful throughout the process!
I’m genuinely impressed by how straightforward the setup and usage are. For me, it stands out as the premier CMOS camera available. I’ll definitely be placing another order soon.
For FPV racing, the Swift 2 has become an industry benchmark. While the Eagle delivers a marginally sharper image, the Swift 2’s superior latency and WDR performance make it my go-to choice for the vast majority of races.
For its compact size, the image quality is impressive. Currently, it offers the best value for money on the market. Thank you, RunCam!
I’m very satisfied with the RunCam2 170-degree FOV camera. The companion app is a nice touch, allowing you to fine-tune the field of view to reduce that characteristic fish-eye distortion if you prefer. The video quality is sharp and holds up well when you review the footage on a large TV at home. Its compact design makes it an ideal choice for fixed-wing models like flying wings. Kudos to RunCam for delivering such a solid product.
I switched to the RunCam Split and it’s been a game-changer for my FPV setup. Getting HD quality without the bulk of a GoPro is fantastic, and the video signal is rock solid. The color accuracy is impressive, and the WDR feature handles contrast beautifully—shadows aren’t crushed black, and bright spots don’t blow out. Latency is virtually zero, and the field of view hits that sweet spot. For HD recording, the 1080p60 footage is incredibly smooth and clean. While the field of view isn’t quite as wide as a SuperView setup, the superior color reproduction makes up for it. Just keep two things in mind: the built-in microphone is pretty poor, but since you’ll be adding music in post anyway, it’s hardly an issue. Also, the circuit board is quite fragile and lacks any protective shrink wrap, so I’d strongly suggest adding electrical tape to both sides to prevent short circuits within your stack. Considering the significant weight savings, this camera is an ultimate choice for almost any build, even if you have room for a dedicated HD camera. Highly recommended by a satisfied user of the shop.runcam.com lineup.
For an airsoft action cam, the RunCam2 delivers impressive video quality and is surprisingly simple to operate once you dial in the push-to-record feature via the app. However, there are a few design quirks to be aware of. The release button on the scope mount bracket is quite small and finicky, making it a struggle to detach the camera. I found it would have been much more user-friendly if the button were positioned slightly further out. Additionally, since the unit didn’t include a protective sacrificial lens—a nice touch to have given the price point and intended use—I had to fabricate my own using plexiglass and the provided dust cap. The companion app is also a bit unreliable; it tends to crash frequently, which led me to switch my camera to push-to-record mode and stop relying on the phone altogether. It’s also odd that the device uses Wi-Fi for connectivity instead of Bluetooth, which likely contributes to those connection hiccups. That said, it’s a solid piece of gear that captures excellent footage for the money. I’d definitely recommend it, though I hope future updates address the app stability and button design.
Unfortunately, I can't leave a rating because my order from RunCam never arrived.
Runcam delivered this FPV cable quickly and in perfect condition. The build quality is solid, making it a great purchase. I really appreciate that they offer spare parts directly; it’s always handy to have a few backups on hand.
My RunCam arrived defective—stuck in black and white and mounted vertically, so it was useless out of the box. I had to email a photo to confirm the issue. The replacement took a bit to arrive but works fine. I was a bit let down by the image noise with the Sony Super HAD II chip; maybe the processor is to blame. At least it’s compact.
I’m really impressed with how compact the RunCam camera is; it weighs just 330g on my 5-inch build with a 4S 1300mAh battery attached. The WDR performs flawlessly and produces sharp, vibrant colors. In terms of performance, it holds its own against the Swift2—I noticed no noticeable latency difference between the two. My only gripes concern the WiFi module; because of my frame’s design, it’s hard to connect the module. I’d love to see RunCam offer an extension cable as an accessory to solve this issue!
The build quality is impressive and the product performs exactly as promised. My only gripes are the lack of any user manual and the absence of details on compatible mounting solutions or dedicated hardware for the tape switch.
My Swift took a hit in a crash, snapping the connector right off. There was no way to easily solder new wires back onto the board, so I turned to the RunCam shop. Swapping out the board was a much cheaper and simpler fix than it could have been, letting me keep my existing case and lens. A perfect solution for a quick repair.
The build quality of the casing is impressive, with great color options. However, the mounting holes are a bit too small, and the M2 threads aren't quite robust enough for my taste. Considering how hard impacts can be on quads and mini FPV planes, the screws often strip or pop out in about 85% of crashes. I drilled out the holes to M2.5 threads, which provides a much more secure and durable fix. RunCam, please consider upgrading the housing threads on future models to something stronger!
The RunCam unit fits my compact 5-inch build flawlessly. I did have to do a minor trim near the rear mounting holes to avoid interference with the flight controller, but that was just due to my specific setup.
When I bought my RunCam Swift 2, the sensor board turned out to be defective. However, the customer support team from their official shop resolved the issue quickly after just a couple of emails, and a replacement sensor arrived promptly. Now, my camera is working perfectly. I highly recommend their products for the excellent camera quality and the five-star service.
I picked these as spares for my RunCam Swift 2 RR, and they truly deliver. They do exactly what you expect from a reliable backup pair: they sit quietly in my drawer, ready to go, and they’ve already saved the day when my primary cables failed. Honestly, what more could you want? I also have to acknowledge RunCam’s support team—while they definitely had a bit of an attitude when I asked about shipping, the product quality makes up for it.
Compré en la web oficial de RunCam y quedé muy satisfecho. El producto está a la altura y el servicio ha sido impecable.
I found these cables really convenient for trimming the silicone sheath to connect to my VTX. I’ve stocked up on several packs and use them for every one of my quadcopter builds.
I needed a replacement for the one I broke while racing my Leopard LX5. The image quality is spot on. Just be aware that the mounting plate design has changed, so you’ll need to swap out the back plate from your old unit since the dog-leg style is no longer included.
I am pleased with the new Runcam 2 4K, but the iOS app experience holds it back. To get the most out of this camera from the official shop, the iOS version needs to match the full functionality available on Android. Right now, you aren’t getting complete control, so they need to align the apps to give iPhone users the same seamless experience.
I initially ordered the incorrect lens module for my RunCam HD2, but when I realized my error, the team at shop.runcam.com was incredibly helpful. They corrected the issue and even waived the $5 difference in price. The replacement fits perfectly and functions flawlessly. Kudos to the RunCam support team!
I am quite impressed with the build quality. While the video clarity isn't quite on the level of my RunCam 2 for general landscape shots, it performs exceptionally well for FPV flying, making it a solid five-star choice for that specific use.
After testing various FPV cameras on my racing quad, the RunCam Split stands out as the absolute best choice. The video quality is truly impressive, and if anyone asks for my recommendation, I don't hesitate to suggest the RunCam Split immediately.
The RunCam mount is a high-quality upgrade that fits perfectly and is surprisingly affordable. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a tripod adapter along with the mount, even though it wasn’t pictured. Great value for the price.
After dealing with the noticeable edge distortion on my GoPro lenses for standard cameras, I switched to the 2.3mm option from RunCam and noticed a significant improvement. It’s a much better fit for my setup compared to the 2.1mm lens.
After my Swift 2 died, I reached out to the team at shop.runcam.com. They were great about it and sent over a coupon for a replacement PCB. Now I am flying again with my go-to camera. Big thanks to the RunCam team!
RunCam delivers impressive performance with its low latency and expansive field of view. It is a significant upgrade from stock cameras and highly recommended.
I was on the fence about buying this camera, but now that it’s set up and running in the shop.runcam.com lineup, I’m really impressed. Being able to plug it directly in for easy file management is a huge plus. My only suggestions would be to improve the design of the Wi-Fi module and add an integrated OSD; while you can run one off the board, I’ve found it a bit laggy sometimes. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic camera!
I’m generally very pleased with my purchase from RunCam. The camera is impressively lightweight and straightforward to operate, delivering solid image quality that feels reliable in the field. While the battery life isn’t exceptional—especially at top resolution—I don’t mind carrying a spare battery pack while paintballing as part of the trade-off for better video. My main gripe is with the release clip mechanism; it broke on the very first attempt to detach the camera from the housing, and I’ve heard the same thing happened to two friends. Aside from that durability issue, the experience has been great. I also want to give a shout-out to their customer support team for being super helpful.
RunCam delivered on both fronts with excellent build quality and top-tier support.
As a dedicated pilot for 3 and 3.5-inch quads, I’ve made the RunCam official shop my go-to source for reliable gear, and this camera is a standout. It’s incredibly lightweight without compromising on image quality. Paired with Gyroflow stabilization, the performance is exceptional, making it my top choice for FPV builds.
La carcasa original de RunCam encaja a la perfección. Al tener mi cámara en color naranja, he optado por la funda gris para dar una imagen más discreta y el cambio es muy sencillo.
The RunCam camera is an excellent choice for micro quadcopters and small aircraft. Despite its compact size, it delivers impressive image quality. Unlike many budget nano cameras, it avoids lens distortion. However, the unit does get warm during operation due to the small form factor and processing power, which rivals larger cameras. It would be a great fit for a hand-launched glider.
RunCam’s build quality feels solid and robust, making it a reliable piece of gear. I found the mounting mechanism straightforward to use, allowing for quick attachment and removal from the goggles. The only minor learning curve is identifying when the recording has actually started, but with a bit of practice, you’ll get used to the interface quickly.
I was satisfied with the overall performance of the RunCam, though the image clarity could be slightly better. It’s interesting that my more budget-friendly cameras are delivering a similar visual range.
Рекомендую использовать черный пластиковый корпус, так как он меньше подвержен появлению царапин и потере покрытия. Также было бы здорово, если компания RunCam выпустит в будущем модель с поддержкой 2K при 60 кадрах в секунду.
I bought the camera from the RunCam shop to upgrade from my old Tactic DroneView, and the jump in video quality is noticeable. The durability really impressed me too; I lost a plane with the camera inside and it took nearly an hour to find it. Since the camera was still recording when we finally located the wreckage, I can confirm the battery life is solid for over an hour.
The mounting kit feels robust and built to endure, which is exactly what I expect from RunCam’s build quality. It would have been a nice touch if the GoPro adapter were included with the RunCam 2 instead of being a separate purchase. Overall, the accessories match the high standard of their cameras.
If you’re looking for affordable spare parts, run through the RCShop catalog. They offer competitive pricing, high-quality components, and a solid warranty to back it all up.
The accessory from RunCam is exactly what I was looking for. Their service and shipping are excellent.
RunCam strikes a great balance between price, weight, and performance. The image quality is crisp and clear.
For anyone looking at the RunCam official website, this model really stands out. The FPV performance is top-notch, but what I appreciate most is that you can record footage at a resolution higher than standard FPV quality, even if it adds a tiny bit of weight.
For basic video recording, this is currently the best option. It’s far more reliable than the hassle of mounting a camera and DVR on the drone.
For the RunCam team, this release is a game-changer for FPV enthusiasts. It’s a solid innovation, though there’s room for refinement. I’d love to see the Wi-Fi module rethought for better stability, a more secure SD card slot to prevent damage during crashes, and perhaps reinforced ribbon cables to address the current fragility. Adding color options for the camera body would be a nice touch for customization too.
I installed the RunCam mounts on my Multiplex Easy Star and they fit perfectly. I went with the curved version for the wing, and it’s exactly what I needed.
Switching from the previous model to the RunCam version available on shop.runcam.com was a significant upgrade for my setup, primarily because the flexible cabling replaced the old flat ribbon style. It’s much easier to route the wires and manage slack, and the flexibility allows for mounting in any orientation with ease. The WDR performance is excellent, holding up well in both bright mid-day sun and at sunset. I also noticed a clearer picture on the Micro compared to the Nano. However, there are two downsides. The new black plastic SD card holder is much too floppy compared to the rigid metal heat-spreading holder of the old model, which also means less effective heat dissipation. Additionally, when using the exact same quad, flight stack, and tuning settings that worked perfectly on the RunCam 2, the new unit exhibits a noticeable jello effect even during low-throttle hovers. The DVR footage isn’t perfectly smooth, even at 60fps.
As an FPV beginner, I’ve only tested this unit via the smartphone app so far, waiting for my transmitter and headset to arrive. Initially, the battery connection was tricky. The camera wouldn’t power on with the battery, so I assumed it just needed charging. It worked fine on a USB power source and gave a clear feed through the app, but the battery itself refused to charge. I realized the battery contacts weren’t making good contact with the board. After a few emails to RunCam support, I used a magnifying headset and a micro screwdriver to gently bend the tiny contacts for a better fit. Everything is working perfectly now.
Delivery to my shop.runcam.com order was lightning fast. Image quality is superb so far, and I’m very pleased with the purchase. I had a minor mishap where I accidentally bent the SD card latch flat while securing my drone’s top cover, but I managed to pop it back into place. Everything works perfectly now. Truly a fantastic camera.
I suspect RunCam will take this down because there are so many fake reviews on the shop.runcam.com site. But here is the truth: the battery life is disappointing. You might hope for the advertised hour, but realistically you are lucky to get 40 to 50 minutes. The build quality feels cheap, with thin, flimsy plastic that isn't suited for rough activities like paintball or airsoft—it will break if you take a hit. The mounting system is particularly frustrating; it often slips, leading to camera wobble. The manual is poorly written and lacks useful troubleshooting info, and the Bluetooth connection is unreliable, frequently disconnecting on its own and being difficult to pair initially. Plus, the battery compartment design is flawed, with a small tab that is prone to breaking off. Overall, this has been the worst camera purchase I have ever made.
I initially messed up by cutting the original wires too short while soldering to the LC Filter on my first try. After a quick trip to my local hobby shop, I found they didn’t stock any replacements, so I decided to order directly from RunCam. The replacement cables are reasonably priced and the silicone-coated wires are excellent quality. It’s clear that RunCam stands behind its products with reliable components.
A handy accessory for setting up your Runcam camera. Highly recommended! Shipping to the shop.runcam.com store was a bit delayed due to the pandemic, but it was definitely worth the wait.
A solid upgrade for anyone looking to replace older 4:3 analog cameras. RunCam’s new model is lighter and more compact while delivering the same video quality I expect. However, if you use OSD-enabled setups like I do, stick with the V1; the V2’s OSD doesn’t integrate well with my rigs, so I have to disable it anyway. The ring could be a bit stronger, but given that these cameras handle 5S setups with walls surprisingly well, they’re still as durable as the Swift 2s.
I’m really happy with this compact camera from RunCam for my specific use case. I plan to attach it to an HO scale flat car to record video of my train layout. While a side-mounted orientation would have been a better fit for the space, the current setup works perfectly well. The video quality is excellent, and since there isn’t much ambient sound on the layout, I don’t mind that the audio isn’t a priority. The iPhone app control is also responsive and easy to use.
The RunCam mount is a solid and compact piece of gear. I found it works perfectly for securing my camera to either a gun or a compound bow.
