loved working for shirley. injured my back and wasnt able to work due to surgery. was not paid since i wasnt injured on the job but they paid the full amount of my benefits which were very good. Id absolutely love to work for shirley again. any time and day!

Well. If only i could release info. Overall the first in a long time since i worked around a lot of good people. Some of the most crooked upper management ive ever meet. Was injured on the job in 2015. Was treaded up till i had surgery. After surgery was brought back demoted. Pay cut 1/3 and told that i had to resin. So please use extreme cousins when working for or around this company. These people have coused many others to be hurt on the job. Many accidents are covered up by upper management

Wow! Killing all the trees on I-64E. For over 20 miles I ve seen an outrageous number of trees torn down due to a highway expansion. Low and behold I see Shirley Construction proudly showcasing their logo. What are you all doing with all the trees that you have killed? Smh. Not all money is good money or maybe it was worth the contract? Smh.

I do not know how employees are treated. I am giving this rating for the expedition, timeliness and overall great job of widening 64 from Hampton roads to Richmond. Much faster and better than any other road construction I have experienced in my 59 years.

I never worked there but witnessed how they treat employees. Not a real good company to work for just from what i have witnessed. If you work out of town with company they dont accomendate transportation or lodging. They dont have any discounted rooms blocked off things that a good company who cares about employee's do.

Horrible company to work for. If I can give a zero I would. Work there over the summer as I am a college student. I got injured, which wasn t my fault, they didn t take care of the full bill. Cheap company when it comes to employes. They have a meeting in the morning about safety and don t even follow the safety procedures. Emailed them about the bill and they were very uprofessional. Very unprofessional company. There are a lot better construction companies to work for so look into those before you look into this one. That s my opinion.
