It is well worth the 1 hour drive from Halifax just to taste the Shillelagh House`s delicious, lightly battered haddock. The restaurant is an interesting combination of a fast food / sit down arrangement with the option to eat out on the patio. Call ahead because I believe they operate on a seasonal schedule!
What a gem! This is one place that all the locals go to, so you know it's gonna be great quality at low price! Super cozy any quaint.
First time here on a recommendation. The maple bacon cheeseburger with home cut fries and fresh beef would stand up against any of the top burger joints in Halifax. Great service E and friendly staff.
