As awesome as this place is to hang out the sad part is you'll find better service at Mcdonalds. As a former GM of several restaurants I always like to give a place more then one shot. This is our 5th time and as always the service is as if you are privileged to have a server instead of a server appreciating you being here to provide her with a job. Provide proper seating charts and a realistic service environment and this place is 4 1/2 stars.

Awesome place with lots of space for large or small parties. Had live music on Sunday night that was pretty fun. Management quick to respond to issues. Bouncers were friendly but present which made me feel safer just in case something could happen. Darts in either room you choose to rest your rump. Drink specials and friendly staff.
So a manager walks by me sees my service dog and doesnt say a word. But then a bouncer comes up and kicks me out. Way to support the veterans of America! Rest assure i will never go back there !!!!They said they had no license for service animals to be inside the bar and kicked me out!!! Although, they brought a pool table back. The golden tee games need some major refurbishing, half of the controls dont work, so dont expect to win any challenges. Also the internet needs to be upgraded. I really wish that there was something done by the owners or managers to fix the issues instead of ignoring them, they could rebound if they actually cared.
Best place to hang out by far. The door staff always make sure if you have had a little too much for the night that you find a safe ride home. The bands always kill it and on a early weekday night they even have more mellow bands that are great to sit with friends and enjoy. The management is always friendly and accommodating and the crowd is a wide range and variety of ages and types. They have an amazing selection of beer on draft and bottle, too many to choose from and have by far the best specials and drink prices in Dallas. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive, always professional and smiling and make the whole experience worth it. If you go in you have to try the Ribs.....I know weird right? Who would have thought a English pub would have some bad ass ribs? Soooo good! And on Mondays you can get a burger for less then 4 buckts, umm Awesome! I'm never let down when I come here, I suggest this place to everybody. Best place to throw a company party as well.
went in to dine with my husband, sign says have a seat and waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the table and no one came. very unprofessional service so we decided to leave.
More a bar than a restaurant. Food was tolerable but they had a good selection of beers. The place was packed on Friday night so it must be popular. Had a few outside seats. Other customers seemed happy. Close to the AMC Dolby theatre. Nice place to grab a beer after a movie. Cheaper than some of the other bars in that area. I ended up paying $11.50 for a draft beer and a salad plus tip.
Just walked after 20 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged. Plenty of people in the place but obviously not enough wait staff to serve people wanting to enjoy the lunch time and then enjoy a game of darts.
The atmosphere is awesome! Drink prices are great. Music is happy music which sets a chill vibe for anyone. Dart boards are there for some fun and one pool table. Nice spot to check out on a Sunday night for catching up with friends or having a first date. There's so much space in this bar! Didn't get to try the food but I'm sure it wont disappoint.
Thought the food was good, our server was lousy and the large group by the bar was obnoxiously loud. The reason for the one star review, was the fact our server refused to do anything about it and took forever to get us our check.
Wow love this place, specially the karaoke nights. most of the time the peoples that comes to sing there are very professional. definitely recommending to all to go there every Tuesdays great place!!!
Delicious food, great service, low key setting, not too loud, great for conversations and business dinners. Lots of room for any size group. Highly reccommended.
Server service is kinda slow. If you're tryna have a big drinkin night with a great story to tell or one you cant remember Sherlocks is it. Lots of males and female good ratio horrible quality. -__- If you pick up someone from here, theres a planned parenthood that does checks and tests right across the street.
The service at this place is terrible. The servers are slow, and rude. I saw the management be completely rude to a very nice guy just trying to play pool because some punk kid complained that the guy made him wait his turn on the pool table. Its a poor management decision to let some rude little kid make business decisions for you. It seemed like the guy was spending a lot of money, and the gangster Jersey-Shore wanna-be kid literally just didn't want to wait his turn to play a game of pool. I was shocked. Great job, Sherlock's, for being the douche-magnet of the Addison area.
I came here on 2 occasions. Both times they only had 1 waiter waiting on everyone. This made service extremely slow and it felt like we had to wait a long time for refills on drinks. One time I got the chicken tenders and the other I tried the cod. Both were OKAY. What brought me back were the happy hour and the mimosa prices. We came on a Sunday and they had every game on which was nice. A nice chill place that feels familiar when you walk in.
One of the best English pub around.. Great drinks and food.. Good laid back seating and perfect English pub ambience.. Wait time ll be long during weekends.. They have darts and live music some days..
First Incident: I ordered a beer and the waitress told me that she thought I was too drunk to order another beer. This was shocking to me as nobody had every told me that before, and I felt pretty much sober, as anybody would be after taking about eight hours to drink as many beers. I was offended that she said that to me, so I paid the bill without a tip and wrote that we had horrible service and left as quickly as we could in disgust. When we got to the car I looked at my bill to confirm that I had only two beers and try to contemplate how she could justify accusing me of being too drunk for another beer, and noticed that she had charged us for four beers each.
Second Incident: We got a beer each with cash at the bar and then sat down. We could have stood up and talked to a waitress, but we were feeling chatty and I wanted to speak some Spanish with them. After the waitress came and we discussed the price of nachos $8.50, and my friend mentioned how the bussers were trying to ignore us and that it would have been more professional for them to be more attentive. The waitress said they are bussers and that's not their job, so I told her that I wanted to speak Spanish with them but it wasn't a big deal. My friend had worked as a waitress at a few different places during college and asked to speak to the manager to suggest to to tell the bussers to be more attentive, and I also took the opportunity to mention the incident that happened a couple months ago and wanted to talk about that too. To my remark she said the waitress probably doesn't even work there anymore because the turnover rate there is so high. A few moments later, after I was about half way through my beer, a short overweight blonde woman walked up to us and sort of rudely said, "What's going on?" My friend, in a VERY friendly chatty way, as she is a very kind, benign and friendly person, made the suggestion about the bussers attentiveness. My friend acknowledged that it was trivial and was a little drunk, but just wanted to help out with a friendly suggestion. To our shock the manager said that she wan't going to blame her bussers for anything and that my friend was too drunk for another beer and too drunk to drive and asked me if I was too drunk to drive too or else she would call us a cab, and we needed to leave immediately. I calmy told her I was fine to drive. I didn't mention that my friend was too, which she was, but asked if it was OK if we stayed to finish our beers, as I was only half way through mine, and she said no.
Service sucks, the people that work there are incompetent, and the smoke is ridiculous. The Yard House is so much better! I have called to speak to a manager and the person at the bar hung up on me because I wouldn't give him a full explanation as to why I wanted the manager. I called back again and the so called manager was rude and hung up on me as well. Go somewhere else!
Giving a 1-star rating after encourtering a racist patron who made awful comments about specific employees of Sherlock s and when I asked to have this person escorted out for screaming at me and saying such awful racist things about their own employees, one of their security officers refused to listen to me, allowed the patron to stay and continue to make racists comments and then instructed all their bartenders to cut me off from any more alcohol. I will never return.
Great place for casual night out, with a London style on bar/restaurant area and a separate section for concerts, also has dart boards available. Food menu with great options at a good price, mozzarella sticks were great, thrilled they had 1800 Reposado at the bar, service there was great too (shout out to Cindy, our server last night!). High tables and booths available for seating, music was great, women's restroom could be kept a little cleaner. Definitely recommended, will be going back
Went there during the daytime to meet up with a buddy and the bartender was unattentative to the needs of all the people at the bar, Half the time she wasnt around and when she was she took her sweet time to serve you, not sure if she could sense my animosity when I was ordering but the drinks she served were awful. Doubt I'll ever suggest this place to meet at again, At least during the day.
Didn t know what to expect coming in here, food isn t super hot but it s decent. Drinks are pretty cheap tho and they have specials on certain days. I had at least a few 2.50 beers before moving on, staff we encountered wasn t super attentive for the level of business but at least they were really nice. I d visit again
Always a good party with decent to good bands, their cocktails have gone down hill, need to come up with some more quality drinks with more alcohol and less filler like sweet 'n' sour or just plane sweet juice. Order beer, you'll have a better time!
