be careful with these guys... tried to double dip ...

be careful with these guys... tried to double dip and collect payment from the insurance company and then charge my father at the same time when everything was covered by insurance company. We will never again purchase anything from Sheridan surgical.

Had great experience...Walked out with the device ...

Had great experience...Walked out with the device in 5 minutes...(which I was not able to get after almost two weeks from Buffalo Pharmacy....despite numerous attempts with necessary paper works... the employee at the buffalo pharmacy seemed more eager to sell the device than processing it through the insurance... ).

I went to this establishment to find a way to easily attach a cane to a walker for my elderly (weak and frail) mother. I had some ideas of using velcro or a shoe string. I was greeted by Evelyn and explained my dilemma and ideas. She listened carefully and suggested a small device that perfectly solved the problem. It was a good fit and easy to use. Thank you.

Not as good as you think, they had my prescription...

Not as good as you think, they had my prescription there day's before my surgery and I go there the day before my surgery and no one had filled my prescription then I get so crappie Vitrectomy Support System setup.. Thought they supposed to help people in there recovery with Medical Equipment that's ordered my the doctor.. I'm Not Happy with their service at ALLLLL!!!!!

This store has been wonderful ! They have always had what we needed whether it was post surgical dressings/ equipment to figuring out the correct configuration for a wheelchair ramp for our elderly sister's home. if they didn't have the item that was specific to our needs they would have it by the afternoon or within 24 hours. They treated all of us as if we were one of their close relatives. Everyone that works there were very personable and you can't beat their reasonably priced items either.

Victor at Sheridan Surgical was very kind and help...

Victor at Sheridan Surgical was very kind and helpful to get a stair lifter installed for my parents in my home. We decided to rent for 3 months. Victor explained that if we need it longer we can rent for additional months we can. Furthermore, if we decide to buy the unit, they credit us for all the rental monies towards the cost of new or used unit. Extremely fair. Installers came on time and took time to show me how to use it properly. Thank you!

Colleen was exceptional in assisting us in deciding on the right wheelchair to purchase and went out of her way to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase. Service like this is not all that common these days. Thank you!

I gave 2 stars because the nice young lady that I met first time I was here, but second time here, there was an old African-American lady she was so rude and when she talk she s mumbling I couldn t understand her, every time she talk, she seemed like someone forced her to work here.

The Sheridan surgical staff were OUTSTANDING!!!!!! I was in a desperate situation and had no clue how I was going to transfer my mother, i went to Sheridan and got all my needs taken care of in less than an hour, and the prices were unbelievably reasonable. They have a customer for life..

I am completely amazed at how far the staff went o...

I am completely amazed at how far the staff went out of their way to help me get the correct medical equipment for my injured family member. Weeks were spent with a rehab facility trying, without success, to get what was needed. I wish I had stopped in there sooner. I went in there for help with a more minor issue, and after talking with them found out that they could help get the correct equipment for a much more serious one. They have the knowledge to help, and they made the whole process so easy. They had everything that was needed in stock on the shelf.

P.S. I would like to send a special thanks to Ginger and Dean for helping to make someone who is in pain more comfortable.

Was hurt real bad in a auto accident on aug 27;had concussion and hernia and hurt my knee bad from a careless driver who rear ended the suv I was a back seat passenger wearing my seat belt in and do to dizzyness when I get up or move my head I needed a lift chair and sheridan surgical work hard on my behalf and helping me get a much needed lift chair there staff was there always fighting on my behalf and taking care of all the details with the insurance company wonderful caring staff just wanted me to work on getting better from this terrible accident God bless the caring staff at sheridan surgical

I always have been pleased with them until this last experience. I specifically inquired as to whether or not the items I was interested in purchasing were fully covered under my insurance policy and was told by the rep, yes your policy covers them at 100%. Then I receive a bill later in the mail from them. I called the billing department to inquire as to why I was told up front they were covered in full and the billing woman said she "would have told me the exact same thing" and "they don't know until something gets rejected." I asked well can you advise your salespeople not to tell people that things are covered when they're not checking your actual policy like I thought they did? Response was "your policy is just an exception" and "there is no way we will call to find out co-pays for individual customers." Warn us then that there could be one, that's all I ask. Most large companies like mine in this area have custom policies so I highly doubt that my policy is a rare exception. Also, why is it that they could look up my co-pay for the knee scooter rental I had for 2 months with no issue, but this is? Making blanket statements that a particular insurance company always covers something when you KNOW there are exceptions your customers may encounter is helpful to no one. Of course people are going to be annoyed when they receive unexpected bills you told them they would not receive.
Advice to the owner--I would not have been upset had I not been told my plan definitely covered the items in full. Having your salespeople be up front goes a long way to maintain a good reputation. If you don't know what our co-pays are, tell us so we can either call ourselves to find out or at least be aware that there could be a bill coming later on. Knowledge = happy customers!

They sell terrible quality compression socks that are very expensive. Company policy to only sell you socks every few months, probably because they're balancing a thin line of stock and sales. Also every employee tells me something different about insurance coverage everytime I go. Just morons, and a wreck of a place.

Took off from work for a routine endoscopy/colonoscopy. Was told the day before they would need $1000 or else my procedure wasn t happening. So glad my health concerns are a priority. Nice to know the money comes first not the patient....

1st off if you have to go to Sheridan Surgical, go...

1st off if you have to go to Sheridan Surgical, go to the store. DO NOT CALL!!!. Very rude customer service whenever I called to check on my approval they were looking into for a script I dropped off 2 1/2 weeks ago. Was told, "I'm not pulling the person off the floor to speak to you because we're busy!" for which I NEVER asked them to do!
2nd when I did leave my number, the person helping me, only called me back once with no results. Finally after 2 1/2 weeks and having to reschedule the Dr. appointment a 2nd time because I was yet to get the special shoe I needed. I called the Dr. office to tell them and they called Sheridan Surgical t find out the status. Within 1/2 hr of having the Dr. call, Sheridan FINALLY called me to say there was nothing they could do!! LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE PERIOD!! If you guys are so busy with dealing with customers in the store, hire dedicated phone representatives! Just a suggestion!
It only takes a second to call someone back to say you're still looking into it, or there is nothing more you can do! Just don't leave me hanging!!
Will NOT recommend to any of my friends nor do business with them again!
