The view, the cruises in front of the hotel and the location are perfect. Only detail the rate that was not the economic, does not include breakfast.
Awesome room with a patio overlooking the port. Extremely convenient location and very COVID safe. Fast check-in, professional and enjoyed an upgrade. Perfect base for a few days in PR.
Great location right in the heart of old town and the districts. Tourist trap if your not careful but some hidden gems if you explore on your own. Hotel was oooooook. Felt like my grandparents would like it
We stayed here post cruise. We booked two rooms using points as we have a large family. Somehow the points didn t show up for one of the rooms. Instead of informing us of this they just charged us full price $365 for one night and one room. They also didn t have double bed rooms as we had requested many months before. We ended up having rooms on separate floors. I took the girls and my husband took the boys. The rooms smelled and needed updated.
When we got home we saw my husbands work credit card had been charged $365. He has spent about 5-6 hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue with Marriott and the hotel. It is still yet to be completely taken care of.
Check your bills carefully here!!!!
I liked the location..but the beds we're VERY small. Nice but small rooftop pool and hot tub.
Beautiful hotel. Centrally located with a bar and Walgreens right downstairs. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi rooftop with views of the port. Well appointed gym on the top floor and a very friendly staff.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as we were leaving on a cruise the next day. The area in which the hotel is located is very convenient to many restaurants and there is a Walgreens right around the corner. We took the opportunity during our brief stay to walk around and sight see. A very beautiful place to visit and very clean.
Solid hotel for a good price ($109). The room isn't as modern as some other hotels, but the location can't be beat. Also has a nice rooftop pool. Would definitely stay at again.
The hotel was nice but the view from our window was a wall.
Great renovation, easy access, valet parking available. Good food.
It was a wonderful experience. It was a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious. The employees treated us with a lot of courtesy. I congratulate you all.
An excellent experience, spectacular customer service. They helped me with a special request when decorating the surprise room for our wedding anniversary. Spacious room with balcony and view of the bay. A hotel to spend a beautiful couple stay, in a central area, very good security measures, WiFi excellent available.
Nice rooms with luxurious beds. We arrived after 10 and restaurant and bar closed. Only issue was if you wanted food in the room had to order outside hotel. Offered pizza place or Chinese. Otherwise breakfast was bountiful and easy check out.
The services was excellent. From check in to check out. Their signature restaurant served delicious and healthy portions. The options were more than fair. Great stay and even more fantastic views.
Only walked by. Didn't go in. I was inside years ago, as I believe there was once a casino inside. No longer though. Hotel did seem nice in the lobby back then, but as I said, I never stayed there.
Hotel needs updating. Windows filthy, room smelled bad. The restaurant food was delicious and the view from outside patio was lovely.
Excellent place and they treated me super well and you have everything close.
Right across the Old San Juan port. Very central. Good location.
We spent one night there-it was clean and the staff was professional. Sheets were kind of papery and loud. Window blinds were slatted sn and didnt keep it very dark. All in all a pretty good value
I would never stay here again & have lost confidence in Sheraton as a brand in totality. When we arrived, there was loud screaming outside the Sheraton (parking lot, valet, eventually in the common spaces of the hotel) followed by blood throughout the lobby, elevator, on our floor, and men fighting throughout the halls along with scattered glass. We were barricaded into our room as the fight transpired. We kept calling reception and got very neglectful responses about the status of security or the police. A few more times we tried to follow up and were given curt and elusive responses without any follow up on whether it was safe to exit our room. We needed up not be able to meet our friends for wedding celebrations as we were too scared to walk through what looked like a crime scene. The hotel also refused to let us change hotels or refund the rest of our money for the remainder of our stay despite being unable to leave our room the first night scared given what was happening outside our room. We found multiple cockroaches in our room. I had to kill them....we left them for further documentation that our room wasn't clean or up to par....cleaning service left the roaches in place and did a very cursory job cleaning the room. Had to complain for the dead roach bodies to be picked up...worse of all was unapologetically rude some of the staff were about the incident...definitely did not feel like a vacation.
Beautiful site on our island loved by God and its inhabitants
Not much around the hotel, so you are stuck with eating at the hotel or across the street.
Undergoing some renovation but...the rooms are dated and the beds sag. So...the value is not there.
we did not stay here but the rental car and excursions are in here.
With the combination of service, room quality and general hotel experience I would absolutely stay at this hotel again! Perfect for if you're about to board a ship around Piers 1-4 because are are within walking distance. The view from the pool and workout facility is also something worth the visit. Definitely would stay here again.
This hotel is under the mantra that the customer is always wrong. Refused to be of help. At the end of a long, pointless, conversation the manager had the nerve to ask, "Is there anything I can do for you?" Go f*#! yourself sir.
On okay place to stay. My biggest problem was the bathroom. It's one of those whole room showers with a drain in the floor. When you shower everything gets wet. There no counter space go put anything so you'll end up putting all your toiletries on the floor. Our view of the parking garage was less than ideal. The toilet had a slow constant leak which you heard drip throughout the night.
Worst spg property I ever stayed. We came into the hotel at 3pm and couldn't check in until 4pm. Kept us waiting in the lobby and no one cared. When I approached the front desk, there was a guy with rude answer saying, the room is not ready and I cant tell you if it would be ready soon! The hotel is too outdated and very noisy. Never again at this property
Much smaller than pictured.....on the third floor....no view...nice staff....it was ok but wouldn't book it again.
The room as nice but to hold and the breakfast price was a ridiculous price, as was the continental choice.
We really had a great time here in this location. It appeared to be about the best hotel in this area. We were able to walk all over old San Juan
Great location. Close to the cruise port and all of old san juan!
Favorite place to stay at in Old San Juan. Close to everything, soft beds, awesome rooftop pool area and view.
The Sheraton old san Juan hotel is located right on the pier where all cruise ships dock, it is a very nice well kept hotel with pleasant staff. There is always lots of people in and around the place because of the cruise ships at port the food is very good and equally served I loved this place and go eat and drink there often I highly recommend you and your family or friends this establishment.
Great hotel with a great location with friendly staff
Well situated. Good rooms, spacious and friendly staff.
Staff is polite and friendly. Johnathan is my favorite.
It we was ok, bed was comfortable, rooms are plain, staff was hit or miss, some polite, sum kinda standofish
The location is great. That yeilds an extra star. Other than that, this hotel is terrible. Most of the hallways and rooms are so musty, I almost had to check out half way during my stay. Probably should have. I will not ever be going back to this location.
I was in Puerto Rico for business. The Sheraton is a very nice, older hotel that was renovated a few years ago. Rooms are quite large. Staff is very responsive. The hair dryer in my room wasn't working and the front desk had a replacement to my room in less than 15 minutes. I was upgraded to a junior suite that was absolutely huge and had 3 small balconies. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room worked quite well. Lots of outlets around the bed for charging your electronics.
Meeting room was good and personnel was very polite.
