Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino Review

If anybody out there is trying to find good deals for hotels and resorts browse through . booked a resort on there and these guys had the lowest prices anywhere!

Awesome room with a patio overlooking the port. Extremely convenient location and very COVID safe. Fast check-in, professional and enjoyed an upgrade. Perfect base for a few days in PR.

Nice hotel before/after a cruise(just make sure you re near the right port!! Beds were comfy, staff was nice. Reason for 4 stars & not 5 was because the Elevator took FOREVER(don t stay on higher floors) & the breakfast buffet(& hotel) prices were a bit steep & the buffet was lacking, buffet service needs improvement. I would consider giving the hotel a 2nd chance to redeem themselves!

Great location in the heart of Old San Juan with a fantastic staff, especially Lisamar!! Rooms are a bit outdated but still very nice.

Great place to stay prior to leaving on our yacht. I just wish the rooms were a little more updated and the air conditioning worked better.

Great friendly staff...the hotel is within walking distance to most cruise ships and a rooftop pool !!
Our room was not ready on time,so we left our luggage and explored Old San Juan returning 2 hours later to experience an incredible room upgrade to a gorgeous suite !!

Beautiful Hotel it's a little pricey for the amenities

Love the area it's in and that there's a Walgreens right down stairs . The only thing that I disliked was the view we had from our room . We were literally facing other windows . Other than that , stuff was fantastic and so was the food from room service.

Amazing! The view of cruise ships docking right in front of your window, being in a traditional town and in the middle of historic sites and authentic restaurants..what more could one ask for!

This hotel was great! The junior suite was super big and comfortable with an amazing view. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
The only negative would be the restaurant not being open for dinner. Not sure if it's because of COVID-19 or other reasons, but their closure isn't enough to give the hotel less than 4 stars.
Everything in Old San Juan is in walking distance to each other which is great because driving here is insane. There are many good restaurants, bars and historical cites nearby.
One thing I noticed is that many airline pilots and military personnel are staying here. In my opinion, that's a clue that this hotel is really good and afordable. I would come back and definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely staff. Everyone is the town is so kind. Except for the girls at the Walgreens. They were not very nice.

It is near the cruise ship port it use to have a casino but now it's a Walgreen's.

Great service. I was surprised with a free upgrade to the presidential suite.

A bit run down. Doesn't operate that well with COVID.

They have a homeless shelter.. its scarry to walk arround the hotel at night

Recently renovated. In the heart of old San Juan. Staff and amenities are top notch at a reasonable price.

Great location in the city. Within walking distance to many of San Juan's historic sites. The hotel itself had a nice little rooftop pool and Jacuzzi. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable.

What I like most is that it was at 3: am there was a taxi to move

Eh, breakfast is meager, it was 3pm and room was never cleaned. No fridge in room, fire alarm constantly went off. Inly redeeming quality is it's proximity to San Juan attractions

I arrived late and they were so accommodating. The rooms are clean and the staff are friend

We just walked around the hotel. Didn't stay over night. Nice restaurant on 2nd floor.

Stay away.....staff is not helpful and not very accommodating. Property is ok but a bit dated.

Looked at it but didn't go inside right off the pier in San Juan.

The location of this place is undoubtedly the protagonist, the two elevators are very old and the quality of the restaurants are very mediocre, the attention of the waiters is quite regular and leaves much to be desired. Fortunately right next to the hotel there is a Wallgreens where you can get everything you need.

5 stars for location: right on the water in Old San Juan. But it's a little bit of an older building. Service on the terrace was extremely slow; the waitstaff was nearly non-existent.

A tourist hub hotel.Not too many comfort zone inside.Everything is mostly outside in entertainment.Dock view is beatiful especially when cruises are docking on shores of San Juan.Very expensive hotel without the luxuries.Would not be a future choice.

Great hotel and really it s the perfect area. They really do need their own parking lot, it sucks that you need to pay $13 a day for parking but it s nice that it s even available. The staff were very friendly.
