Nice lobby with art and mid century style, Sheraton service level standard. The room is dated, big bathroom. Clean but dusty, I can smell the dust in the room, but I am very sensitive, other people may not notice it. Heated pool. Nice indoor connection bridge with the westing and a big shopping mall.
The service and the amenities could be better.
Specially the fitness center and the pool are definitely below the expectations.
It was nice till I found out that 114 people were killed at this hotel in a freak accident. It made my skin crawl. I slept for one night and I had to change hotels because of it. Wouldn t recommend if you get disturbed easily.
This hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff were awesome, they have stores, gift shop, Starbucks, pool, air hockey table and more. They have a restaurant and bar. They have parking for $19 a day or valet for $26. Great location too. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in over 30 different hotels with different hotel chains. Nice seating area in front lobby. Only downside, the Starbucks snack shop and the gift shop close too early. Everything is a bit pricey as far as food, gift shop etc. This hotel is very very big and can accommodate large groups, wedding parties and more.
Clean hotel, great staff and nice location. It's close to Crown Center and Union Station. I'll definitely stay here again. I was on the 38th floor and had an awesome view. Make sure you visit the Club level for a beautiful view of the city.
Great location, near Union Station, the WWI museum, downtown. Not much of a traffice issue around, friendly staff and easy to work with if dropping off or picking up a guest, can organize conferences, capable of diverse menu (inclduing vegetarian) on a catered event.
Lovely hotel. Centrally located and very comfortable. At weekends park across in the Crown Center as its free, save yourself 20 dollars per night.
Nice hotel. Fitness center above average, plenty of space and amenities. Very nice lobby. Had issue with parking which is third party ran. Make sure they put the parking on your room key to get out of the garage! Hopefully the valet company will credit me back for having to pay. Overall, nice hotel if in the downtown area with plenty of shopping in crown center. No need to go outside as the Link connects!
We stayed last weekend, and had a great experience! We had 5 kids with us so we had two rooms with two beds each. We loved that there was a connection to the link so we could walk to the Crowne Plaza, plus the kids were so impressed with the views and ambiance. Only 1 small issue and that was that the rooms felt a little damp, from the floors to the bed sheets, it was like they waited too long to turn the air on and it got muggy. I was also disappointed that they couldn t get us adjoining rooms even though we checked in very early per the advice of an employee. They also had a shuttle service available until 10 pm which was awesome after a long day of walking with a baby and a toddler! Will definitely be back and would for sure recommend!
This hotel is pretty nice. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. The best perk is the free shuttle that'll take you around town, we used it several times. There is not an included breakfast- the continental is $18 per person and is nothing special compared to other free breakfasts with the exception of a few extra things (fresh fruit, some green shots, and "smoked" salmon). The rooftop pool is great and the game room is nice as well... however, it'd be cool if the pool stayed open later. It's hot in KC and a late night swim would be heavenly. I think my #1 complaint is the number of elevators you have to take to get everywhere. The navigation seems clunky. We also encountered people slamming their doors at 1am, which wasn't pleasant. We would come back if in the area again.
