First, I'd like to point out how the photos online were taken by someone who knows exactly how to. The deluxe king room that we stayed in for two nights was extremely small. The pillows were down feathered which seemed fluffy until laid on. It was like sleeping without one. A small fridge and large TV, but no microwave. The bathroom door was about 5 inches away from the toilet (compact bathroom entirely) The closet was just a shy smaller than the bathroom! There was a rather large desk chair and one chair with an ottoman. Not ONE was even the slightest bit comfortable! The breakfast from the Jade restaurant in the lobby was distasteful and expensive. You have to order downstairs, wait then bring the food to your room. There was no in-room service. It cost $22 to park our car in an empty lot for ONE NIGHT! I'd give this hotel one star except most the staff seemed friendly. I say "seemed" because there really wasn't any small talk, they just kept to themselves but did smile. I would not recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone.

Didn't get the room I booked almost 2 months beforehand. Was told they were out of kings, yet 4 other coworkers got their kings 3 days later. Internet is basically unusable after 3PM even after purchasing the premium internet upgrade. Other than that the place is fine.

Again the Bonvoy app did its job, the front desk were very helpful in getting my daughter and I a room with an Alaskan view! The whole hotel staff treated us like royalty, beds were extremely comfortable, all the staff right down to the security guard were helpful and friendly, and most importantly to kind, even though the front desk person was super busy she took a quick minute to help me in the market area. Room service was excellent and friendly. Food was amazing, even the gentleman who brought our food to our room was kind to explain about each dish. It was an accident that brought me to Alaska but it is people like this that will bring me back. Thank you very much.

We spent 1 night here on our first night in Alaska. It's a nice property. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a view of the mountains and bay which was nice. With Covid, they had a grab and go breakfast for elite members downstairs that was one of the best I've had anywhere. It is very pricey if you're paying out of pocket but with the elite vouchers it wasn't terrible. $15 to self park across the street in a lot seemed a bit steep.

For the price paid, I would expect at least a usable internet connection. Even after purchasing the premium internet speeds, I continued to drop packets. If you have a need to even send something as basic as an email, you may struggle.

The view from the high floors is likely the best part of this hotel. We stayed on the 13th floor in a corner room and had a lovely view of both the mountains and a bit of the bay. The staff was nice and recommended some scenic places when asked. The location is nice - there is a wonderful Sushi place called Dami just a few blocks away. We could have walked to the mall but didn't have the time on this trip.
I will echo the things many others have mentioned: 1.) the bathroom in our king room was very small. The door opens up to barely 3 inches away from the toilet. 2.) There was no microwave in our room. 3.) Parking is $22 a night (we stayed Thursday-Sunday morning) for the simple, uncovered parking lot next to the hotel adjacent to the YMCA. 3.) The tv is very dated - yes, it's a flat screen but changing channels takes about 4 seconds to go from one to the next and there is no guide or menu. 4.) We knew going into it that there is no pool or free breakfast but I still find that a drawback.
Overall, I wouldn't stay here again for the price paid and what was offered.

1 night stay- within walking distance to the mall, restaurants, and a couple of blocks from the museum. Great place to stay, if you don't plan to rent a car.

The front desk Manager had a great attitude, and was extremely helpful. I had prepayed, but ended up being double charged. He assisted with having the charges reversed, and kept in touch, until the reversal was completed.

The most fantastic place I've ever been to with my Dad. They have places to eat and spa but the place to eat in there is closed due to covid-19 unfortunately but you can still get food from this room where you buy food snacks and drinks and other things as well. It is very fancy and it has a lovely fountain that's unique.
