I have always been impressed with the care and support offered by Shelley Park to both patients and relatives. The staff are warm and friendly, providing a personal touch on the care they give and always available to answer any questions or queries. I have no hesitation in recommending Shelley Park to anyone looking for this specialised care.

When I called they just hung the phone up on me, if this is a health care centre then I feel very sorry for the patients.

Our son has recently gone to Shelley Park for some rehab and is doing really well there. The staff are amazing, professional, friendly and extremely understanding. The set up there is great, and I am very hopeful they can help our son. They keep me in the loop explaining every step of the way, and are helping us as a family as well as just our son. We all feel supported at such an emotional time. Highly recommended establishment as far as im concerned.
We are JL and HL, the parents of ML. ML was transferred from a Neuro Centre, which had a million pounds upgrading spent on it. We were advised that Shelley Park Neuro Care Centre had the skills and the staff to continue ML s rehabilitation. Our First impression was not favourable, but ML surprised us by saying he would give it a go. After a week he was settled in what he now regarded as his home. This is won the every member of the team treating him as a person, whilst carrying out their roles in a totally professional manner.
ML loves the food which is cooked daily in the residence kitchen. The nurses and chef check the portions in every meal, which is then translated into units of insulin. This is the main reason ML diabetes is stable at last. The specialist team of speech therapy, musical therapy, OT, physio, psychology have made a fantastic difference to ML s mental and physical condition. ML s care and treatment at Shelley Park has resulted us sleeping without worry, now that ML s medication and diabetic regime is in control.
He was confined to a wheelchair, but the therapy/exercises have resulted in him being able to walk in to town with us. It is now two months since he has not used it.

Lovely home. 99% of the staff are wonderful and care is excellent. Constant litany of petty rules made by the management and one particular staff member is under the impression they are management. More alarming is the fact a member of staff can work there for several months without their DBS being checked or references taken up. Considering the vulnerability of the residents this is a serious breach
