Great meal the best meal I've had out in years. Fried chicken, cooked cabbage, greenbeans like moma made!

Was heading in the door and realized... wasnt the place for me... a few less than welcoming stares and racially movativate comments were enough to realize my business wasnt welcome... could nt believe how openly racial, political and simply inapporoiate this place was...

This is hands down the best breakfast in Burlington and probably Alamance. Great customer service and the owners are wonderful people! Give this place a shot, you won't regret it :)

Breakfast was awesome!!!!! Corned beef omelet was so good n my husband said his western omelet was the best one hes had yet. You won't be disappointed!

Best country cookin' in Alamance county. This food is not out of a can. When I eat one of the daily specials at Sharkey's, (generally a whopping slab of meat with potatoes), I feel like an American. This food fuels masculinity and will make you want to go plow a field with horse-drawn implements. The intake of this food is what makes men, men. Oh yeah....I hear a lot of girls like the place too, but you'll have to read their reviews. Eat Sharkey's today!

My husband went into this business to get him something to eat as he was sitting on the bar stool waiting fot his food two Caucasian men comes in I guess a regular morning customer comes in one of waitress Dawn (also owner)tells him he has to get up to let the Caucasian men sit down.My husband got up then he called me because he knew he was getting ready to cause a scene.After he approached her about the situation her response was "I was just playing " really??? you don't play with a BLACK man when it comes to discrimination. You dont play like that. I will NEVER give this place one dime of my money and this didn't end here!!We will be making this situation known public.In 2018 our struggle continues. But who does that this day and time.You never know what a person is going through to make that person snap .Be careful how you treat people because another person may not have handled it the right way.We will be talking to an attorney on Monday.

Not a mask wearing place. Food was great with great prices. Not one worker stopped while we were there, thanks for your hard work it shows in the product you put out. Best hand made burger and fixins in town, I give it five napkins because thats how many I used to get through it. When orders were ready they went put which meant I got hot crinkle cut fries, one line of ketchup on each and I was a kid eating at a real home cooking dinner. Pack for lunch, wait till about 1240 and it gets a little clear. Working, real people eat here, there is takeout.

Really enjoyed the food and the service. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my sight disabled sister in law even to the point of making breakfast available during lunch hours.

Usually love this place, but me and my co workers ordered lunch from there today as usual, and it gave all four of us (who ordered different but similar meals) food poisoning. for the last hour and half ive had to shut my office down, as all of us were extremely sick with chills vomiting stomach pains, diarrhea, and light fever. Like I said I usually rave about this restaurant, but I cannot reach management or anyone. Be wary ordering from this establishment.

Man, if you want some really good food, go to The Old Sharkeys Grill. They have a large variety of things to choose from. They offer everything from meats & vegetables to cheeseburgers, subs, etc!!! You name it, they have it, & let me assure you, it's delicious! Sharkeys isn't a fancy restaurant. It's a plain little building with the best food you'll ever eat in Burlington, NC!!!! The staff was super nice & attentive too! My new favorite place to eat! Very reasonably priced on top of great quality and great food. If you haven't tried it...you're missing out!!! Located on Anthoney Street in Burlington.
