Disneyland here is similar to everywhere. When we go, don't know why. Press fast. cannot track, but can go to other countries, can press, some people say that must download its app The rides here are thrilling, but not a lot like other countries. Overall, it is good for those who do not like the smell of cigarettes like us. I would say that there will be cigarette smells around the bathroom and in some bathrooms. Ok

The largest and most technological park in the world, incredible in every way. There are attractions that are not Disney but are incredible.

I CRIED DURING THE LIGHT SHOW. An amazing throwback to childhood.

Super nice grounds. and all the attractions were very clean and organized. Staff were polite and smiling at all times. As an English only speaker we still had a great time all day long into the evening hours!

I could be wrong but I think you can walk across this park in 10 minutes. It's by far the smallest of the Disney parks I have been at in recent years. Smallest does not mean it does not score big in the entertainment department. First and foremost bathrooms (here just labeled toilets) are plentiful and clean. All I was in today had a mix of both western and eastern styles and bonus the handicap stalls had sinks and dyson airblades so I could put myself back together. Also shout out for keeping the shopping to a minimum inside the park. Snacks and food are plentiful but most are healthy. There are water stations all-over the park with both hot and cold options. Now let's get to the rides...

Pirates of the Caribbean was terrific definitely in the new era of motion based boat rides with amazing story and plenty of swashbuckling graphics it was my second favorite of the day.

The winner of the day was the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride which really felt like a retelling of the Big Mountain Railroad from Disneyland, but that being a favorite of mine, this was definitely my favorite ride of the day.

growing rapids was closed for maintenance and being a forward sitting ride Tron was not something that was going to happen for me as it was my husband got the honor of pushing me around the park and a wheelchair as in Disney Shanghai power chairs are not an option.

That's about it day was a lot of fun and much food was eaten drink was drunk and shopping was had.

It s very fun, kids don t want to go when they come, and they are willing to wait in line. This is Disney s magic. This is very worthwhile. The downside is that people don't want too much, and food is more expensive. When I returned to Wuhan, the children said that they didn't play enough. Schedule it again next time.

The Tron coaster and the Pirates of the Caribbean rides are AMAZING.
The castle is stunning. Prettiest castle in all Disney parks.
The food in the park can be a hit or miss. If you want a guaranteed hit, get lunch at the castle.
If you have the money, it is 100% worth it to buy the premier access pass or AKA fastpasses. You dont have a hope to get any paper fastpasses.
You have to just swallow the differences in crowd culture that you will see and experience. There are common courtesies that you may expect that do not always exist. For example, Western guests may be shocked in how little personal space exists among the locals. When in line, they will cram up against you in uncomfortable ways.

An unforgettable experience. Were on Halloween, all of Disneyland in a Halloween mood. On weekdays, waiting for the rides for two hours.

It s really easy to get to the park. Just hop on the Metro. It takes you just a few meters from the park entrance. The park was clean. Bathrooms, water fountains and even smoking areas were dotted all over. There were many cool rides (TRON, Pirates, Roaring Rapids). The queues were long when we went. TRON took over an hour.

Had some great crepes and pancakes at Remy s. The food was good for a park imo. It s almost on par with Tokyo.

This is a huge place but there is just too many people and most of the time is spent waiting in queues. The rides are good, the food is ok and the entertainment is great for kids.

The weather is very cold but a lot of people. Chinese people overtook the queue a lot. But was impressed Very large area. Very wide.

Amazing Magical Place. Disney is the king. Absolutely a must go if your a Disney fan. I missed a little bit more roller-coaster, but it still magical.

Another homerun for Disney with this spectacular park! The Shanghai Pirates of the Caribbean is the singular BEST ride in the Disney empire and Tron isn't too far behind . . .

For cartoon lover, kids, family, this is a great place, if you are teen or adult looking for thrill and excitement, this is not the place, Universal Studio might be better in this case. I feel weird when the characters speak in Chinese. Everything here is bit pricey, if you are looking to save cost (for reference, one glutinous rice hotdog is 90rmb, one set of fast food in Marvel Tomorrowland starting from 85rmb), there is family Mart after you exit the subway, you may supplement your food there before enter.

I had the best Friday of my life, the money in Iran is expensive but it has such a great atmosphere that it was well worth it, I spent one of my best days in Disneyland Shanghai

Less than 3 hours after entering the venue, I decided to leave.

How could you not give this place 5 stars? It s huge, it s friendly, it s clean, and the Chinese even queue politely. The rides are great and I particularly like the Pirates of the Caribbean, which is head and shoulders over the one in Anaheim. Getting there is really very simple, simply take subway line 11. View the subway ride as your first Disney ride, it s clean, efficient, and reliable.

The happiest place in Shanghai! It s the official Disney palace in China. The mouse kingdom has transformed the industrial area in Pudong, Shanghai into a wonderland.

There are 2 Disney Resort hotels surrounding the area: Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel. Both are not directly attached to the park like Grand Californian. But as usual their occupancy rate is 90% in average.

Normal park opening hours is 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. This park embraces new technology as part of their flexibility. For example, FastPass can only be used and reserved through the Shanghai Disneyland Resort app, and it s only available once you enter the park. They even have a timer for when you can take another FastPass.

Shanghai Disneyland has 7 themed areas: Mickey Avenue (the mouse king really loves your wallet), Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland, And Toy Story Land. They are planning to build Zootopia Land sometimes soon.

In the morning you can find Mickey and friends eager to take pictures with you around Mickey Avenue. Whereas there are several places specially designed for characters such as Marvel Captain America and Spiderman. The morning dance at the Enchanted Storybook Castle is pretty neat and happened twice in the morning. The parade is fun and happened twice in a day. But the craziest line time is for the 8:30 p.m. fireworks show.

As for the rides my favorite has to be Pirates of the Caribbean, just an amazing mixture of water ride with projection mapping story telling plus the sunken boats And the battle against the Kraken. No other pirates ride in all other Disneyland around the world comes close. And of course I must say Tron for the motorbike and rollercoaster fans out there. I went three times in a day for this wonderful ride in Tomorrowland. Honorable mention is the one and only Adventure Isle s Camp Discovery Challenge Trail. I don t think this attraction will be allowed in any other Disneyland, it s a rather dangerous one. Soarin is also available here, but the line is crazy. My suggestion is either you do a FastPass early or go in line early for Soarin.

The food in Shanghai Disneyland is absolutely amazing for Disney standards, especially the Chinese cuisine. Don t forget to grab a bite of Turkey Leg here, they are so juicy compared to other Disneyland.

I came four times and still didn't have the courage to buy a ticket. I always went back to the shop and went back ...

Clean public utilities, but the firework was just ok the light projection was the one that made it great.

It was a great experience. I went with a large group of friends and we all agreed that it is an unforgettable experience. The games that I recommend the most are Tron and Pirates of the Caribbean. You have to arrive very early (before opening the park) because otherwise you will last a long time in line in the security filter.
Tickets to enter the park are not expensive, however the products and food inside the park is very expensive.
Still, it is a great experience. Totally recommended!

Although still being a relatively new park, it is still packed with people and attractions. It is a huge park and i must remind you it is Disneyland not Disney world. In the grounds surrounding the park there are high end hotels within the park itself, you will feel immersed into a Disney fantasy movie. With the iconic castle present as well as rides from new Disney movies are present within the park. To date, it is the newest Disney Park.

Absolutely worth a visit, best during the week to avoid waiting times. Like every Disneyland a great experience. We particularly liked Tron and Pirates of the Caribbean.

What an experience it was such an amazing day, yes it was very expensive but what do you expect it is Disney land. The queues where not to bad to get in the park to get food it was very busy and very hard to find a seat. Just wondering the park is such a magical experience and my daughter loved it.

The subway is easy to get on, and even if it takes about 8 yuan, it can be moved quite cheaply.
There is no English at all in the park except for staff who can speak English. Affection is also bad compared to Japan.
Compared to Japan, it is vacant and you can enjoy many attractions.

They only had 5 main thrill ride attractions for adults.. Tron, Snow white (which was like thunder mountain), Souring, Roaring Rapids, and Pirates of the Caribbean! Which was closed! So we only got on those 4. Everything else was okay. Ohh loved Alice in wonderland maze wish Disneyland had that. It was pretty cool. Food since its Disney owned they need to ship out our corn dogs and hot dog links. That was a bust. Especially the churros!!! Disney needs to ship out our cinnamon churros to Shanghai Disney! That's a must! So food was a bust. You would think with so much land they would put in more thrill rides! But nope. Tron could have been a longer ride too!

So many people in the world first spring. There is no place to go again.

This is Disneyland so how bad could it be?
As a fan of Disneyland who's been to a few of them around the world, I find Shanghai Disney to include and almost only include some of Disney's newest collections. Frozen, Malificent and Toys Story are huge deals here. Surprisingly Mulan isn't. As of some of the older classics.
A lot of the rides are utilizing modern projection and machanics. Which does make me miss the LA Disneyland's hand crafty charm a little bit.
There's no Haunted Mansion here. But Soaring Over the Horizon and Tron are wonderful additions. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was the best amongst its branches, must see. If you're like me who's seem plenty of Broadway productions, the Frozen sing-along probably wouldn't impress you, yet it's just so funny to see familiar songs done in Chinese. I also found this Disneyland to be probably the most affordable one in comparison to its American sisters. The food in the park are tasty and cheap, even with some healthy options. Not to mention they allow you to bring your own snacks into the park. The entrance tickets are half of the price of the American ones.
Another factor that makes this park special is the sheer amount of young people and children dressed up in costumes here. Almost every single child had some sort of cute costumes on. You can also find a lot of attractive young people dressed in Lolita, Gothic, anime, and other creative outfits here.
Now about the lines and how to optimize rides. We reserved a fast pass for Soaring Over the Horizon at 1pm. At 8:30am before the park was punblically open, we utilized the early entrance to ride Tron (enough time to ride three rides if you enter at 8am). The park is relatively small so for the rest of the rides you just have to keep an eye on the Disney app and pick times when the wait time is short. Lunch and dinner hours, parade hours, firework hours and after 7:30pm there will be some of the shortest lines, know your priorities and utilize them. When done right you should be able to easily fit 5-8 rides in a day.

My dream is I have to visit all Disneyland park in the world. Here is 3rd place of Disneyland park that I have visited. Finally!, I arrived at Shanghai Disneyland Park. My friend and I have to spend time a day for visiting here. Actually it s not a day will be done. It has to spend time here around 3 days that you will visit here completely. At that day, I arrived at 8:30am. and also crowed people. Most of people are Chinese. I heard that day is a last day for school holiday. Thus, most of family will bring children to visit here. Every amusement machine have to queue more than hours. Especially, top list of amusement such as Tron. At the end of the day, they will have a big performance show from Disneyland. It was so stunning and amazing show too. Last thing that most people doing before going back home is souvenir shopping. I m also in this activity too.

The great majority of Chinese people do very well buying a ticket to play two days to complete. Sensual technology Great decoration. The player enjoys everything, especially Tron.

Because they all speak Chinese, friends of all ages are very integrated! Looking forward to playing next time! Disney is the happiest place in the world!

Spending my 13.5 hours in this "Happiest Place on Earth", and it is still not enough to explore the whole big park, especially in a crowded day



Established since 2016 , Shanghai Disneyland is the freshest Disneyland with its beautiful castle inside and out, both in a day and night view. The castle is called Enchanted Storybook Castle. It is totally beautiful and magical. I feel like I want to live in the castle hahaha

Great rides. I loved Tron bikes. The park is very clean too.

It is one of the largest and largest Disneyland.
